Review 1：I arrived earlier than scheduled and wanted to drop off my things mainly computer because I had to make several stops before check in and leaving a computer in the car is not safe. They have an early check in fee but when I explained why they did not charge me. THIS is customer service
Review 2：As others have noted, the rooms are better inside than the hotel appears on the outside. Yet I also had to deal with a gap beneath the door (when the low was 36!) and crickets in the room. That's such an easy fix, but it hasn't been done. And there was a bad smelling my room as well. It took till my second day to realize it was the plumbing. That also needs to be taken care of, there's no way the maids and staff don't smell it. And Frank's Restaurant may look cute, but I found the food too greasy.
Review 3：The staff is very nice, and helpful. The location isn't bad at all, very close to downtown Burbank and the train station from Burbank to Downtown. And I don't understand the complaints about breakfast, it's obviously a "continental" breakfast, meaning no hot items. There's a Subway across the street, Frank's Diner attached and a Starbucks two blocks to the left. There are plenty of reasonable breakfast options.
Review 4：Not really bad experience, checked in TV was not working. Called down to desk, came right up and fixed it. Next morning TV again would not come on again, did not bother calling because we were checking out. I did mention it when I left so that the next guest would not experience it. Also if you could replace the shower rods to ones that bow out in the middle to give you a little more room in the shower without the shower curtain sticking to you.
Review 5：Office staff was excellent. Room 219 overall was good, needs a little attention. Stains on the wall (bathroom wall). Stains on the chair ottoman. Shelf above refrigerator missing shelf supports, resting on microwave. Cabinet that has refrigerator and microwave is beat up. When room door closes weather stripping at the bottom rolls away and there is a pretty big gap (about 2 inches) of light showing through. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was standard. Location right down the street from where I was going. I would stay here again.

Review 10：we were able to get into our room early when I explained that the job interview time meant that we needed to change in room before check in time. they were very nice about it that evening we took a $6 cab ride into downtown Burbank( which is also walkable)and enjoyed the many bars restaurants and shopping.
Review 11：The room keys repeatedly quit working. It was no trouble getting a new one, but it was inconvenient. The maids did a nice job, but they never restocked the plastic coffee or drink cups that were used. They also never replaced the toiletries such as lotions or shampoos. Finally- a covered outdoor sitting area would be a great addition to this property. I would sit outside my door having coffee on my desk chair.
Review 12：The staff- particularly the manager- were helpful and very nice. The security cameras are manned and they cover every outdoor area which made me feel very safe. The rooms are nice and clean. The location is great.

Pretty shocked that they would rather keep my stuff then get a decent review! Thinking they must have a swap meet booth or monthly yard sales on the side to make extra cash.

Review 31：I stayed here last year and came here again this year. This hotel has everything you need and is close to good restaurants in Burbank town centre. The stuff is helpful and friendly and they serve nice breakfast every morning. Wi-fi works very well.
Review 32：One thing I didn't like was parking. I was out really late on Valentine's Day and was unable to find parking when I came back. I managed to park behind the store next to portofino inn, which was pretty scary when you can't see your car from your hotel window.
Review 33：a great place to stay. It's pretty quiet area. The room was really clean and pretty decent. I loved the granite countertops. It was great for the price I paid on Valentine's Day weekend. The room came with a microwave and refrigerator so that's a plus. You can also see the beautiful mountains from your window.

Review 37：My husband and I stayed at this hotel. First off I'd like to say, the rooms were extremely clean. The staff was ok, although the man at the front desk was a bit sarcastic. We paid $200 for one night which I thought was a bit much given the location. Our room had a jacuzzi which was ok. They serve complimentary breakfast which is actually coffee, and a bagel . I've stay stay at much better hotels for less. Still, it's ok if your going last min. Everything is walking distance .

Review 92：We enjoyed our week stay at the Portofino! The room was clean, the nights were quiet and the bed was comfortable. The price was reasonable and the room was a little larger than I expected. There was a large armoire to hang our clothes in and I made use of the clothes iron. Plenty of off-street parking. A central location in Burbank. I recommend it!

The bath room floor was not clean and I did tell the manager,But he said that this is part of the floor design, the floor was notclean, I cleaned it.
