Review 1：The large artificial plants were in dire need of a dusting and were in bad shape (missing leaves/branches).

Review 8：The view and location is fantastic. They have chairs and tables for you to sit on your deck. The bed was so fluffy and comfortable. Awesome choices for breakfast and coffee all day. You can ride or jog from your room to Glass beach which has a new park. You can also follow paths outside your room and walk to the beach. I stay here every year!

Review 11：My husband and I so loved our room overlooking the ocean and listening to the sounds of the waves. The hotel is a great location for hiking trails, exploring tide pools, and watching the evening sunsets. It is not an upscale hotel with plush facilities, but it met all our needs. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful.

Review 15：The room was never cool enough for us, despite having the thermostat turned as low as it would go. We weren't comfortable leaving windows open, as we were on the ground floor with a popular jogging path just off our patio. Second floor would've been better. The patio door leaked (dripped) when it rained.

Review 19：I didn't like the that when I got there they had to change my room and charge me more because we had a dog, which I told them in the special request area. All it said on the site was that dogs were allowed it didn't say that there were special rooms only for dogs. I booked this room on Booking.com

Review 23：I think it was over-priced. Instead of advertising free wifi, they should say that it is extremely unstable. When asked about it, I was told "Macs don't like our wifi." What! Similarly with breakfast included - a more accurate description, like a basic low-level continental breakfast, etc.

Review 26：Continental breakfast was meager and there was no space to sit. While it was clean, the room had an overpowering smell of deodorizer. Also, do not use directions provided by Google maps or MapQuest. The motel entrance is just west of CA 1 - don't take the crazy back roads!
Review 27：Fabulous location, right on a beach. Rooftop terrace available to watch the sunset or the sand was just steps from the back door. Nice bike/walking path with bikes available to rent.
Review 28：The screen wouldn't lock so you couldn't leave the door open, and it got so hot in the room you could not sleep, so I went and bought a fan which helped, but not much, no air conditioning, don't care if it's close to the ocean, it still should have one. Then on check out I was told that they have fan's we could use.
