Review 1：The hotel is under going a major renovation that I was not aware of when making my resevations. Would have scored the facilities higher had this not been the case. When I first pulled up in the evening I really thought that the hotel was closed.

Review 13：The room I booked for oceanfront through booking.com was not available. Hotel called and told me the problem and offered a different room for a 50% discount.hotel is right in the middle of countless bars and restaurants. Staff was very friendly. Would return in furure.

Even if it was a ocean view! Staff wasn't pleasant! Couldn't complain since there wasn't another ocean view hotel available all booked in the area! I will not be going back to the Best Western!

Review 33：When we got there, the staff didn't put our reservation in for the first day....so we stayed in a room over looking the parking lot, instead of the room overlooking the ocean, we booked. Didn't like as we were sitting having lunch on the balcony, the Maids decided to wash balcony above us with BLEACH WATER, that all came down on us and our lunch...why wouldn't you tell someone you were going to do that??

Review 53：This is more of a suggestion. The smoking table outside the main entrance would be best relocated across the drive. Instead of walking out to a breath of fresh ocean breeze, we regularly walked into a fog of smoke or smell of an old ash tray.

They had working washing machines but both driers were broken. They offered to dry our clothes for us (nice, but no thanks) or we could go down the street to their sister hotel. Both were very accommodating, but it would have been nice to kick back in the room while waiting for the laundry. I got the impression they wouldn't be fixed or replaced any time soon. :(

Wish we had a view of the ocean instead of a view of the side of the building next to us. Jax beach is full of ratchet people...not a "family" vacay spot.
