Review 1：Overpriced !! A tiny room with no cupboard, no view, very basic tiny toilet for a high price... The beach was the most crowded beach of the island. I;m sorry to say but there are much better places to stay than here !

Review 2：There was loud music playing until late. Many longtail boats out front. There are swimming areas but the boats sometime go into those areas as well. Koh Lipe is extremely expensive compared to most of the rest of Thailand: not good value for money but it's gorgeous!

Review 3：Location is perfect for taking the ferry or speedboat. Staff were all quite nice. Nice place to watch the sunset. Watching the locals unload the boats was neat.

Review 4：Avoid by all means the Christmas or New Year dinner which are mandatory with your reservation. Thy are automatically added to you booking and billed 5 time the price of a normal meal. The New Year dinner we experienced was a total disaster; food was average, bbq was too strong in order to cook fast and fish and prawns were burnt; entertainment was lousy, the music band was totally inappropriate for the customers of this resort, the sound system was defect and you could hear sound cracks and bad electric contacts all the time. In addition to that, this expensive meal was served with ONE glass of wine. ! How do you expect me to celebrate with that ?!? At this price this is pathetic. The rooms are nice, but not practical. Nothing to hang cloths, deco is poor. Rooms are quite close one from each other and you can hear your neighbors talking. The pathway between bungalows is very noisy from guests talking or staff shouting in the early morning , which makes your nights very shorts. Bathroom was the worst I experienced in many years of travel around Thailand. Awful. Equipment half destroyed. This place is really not well maintained and it is a cash machine.

Review 6：We booked a superior room and it was very small. No more than a pine clad box with an awful old/tatty wetroom style bathroom. I couldn't even wash my face in the sink or lean in to brush my teeth as there was a shelf in a low position over the sink. Big TV but no fridge. We booked for two nights and left after one - no refund given but we were just glad not to have to endure another night here.

Review 10：The staff were miserable, lazy, rude and unhelpful. All the staff wanted to do was sit around the restaurant watching TV or playing on their phones and smoking. Asking them to do anything (like bring a menu, food or clear the table) was like pulling teeth. And come in, the occasional smile might be nice. Additionally the accommodation was bad - tired, old and in need of renovation. The air con in our villa was useless and the staff predictably couldn't be bothered to help sort it out. Also the fridge, and the main power point.

Review 11：The beach was great, although there's a lot of rubbish around. The food is very good, at least the Thai food is excellent, the western food pretty average.

Review 18：The staff were quite cold and very inefficient. They seemed lost. The breakfast was awful and there are some parts of the hotel that are dated. We stayed at another hotel on Sunrise beach. It was far better. The worst hotel of our journey so far. Sorry but I had to be honest. Terrible.

The staff, despite that there are 20 of them standing around doing nothing, they do not clean the resorts beachfront because it is deemed a "government problem." In visiting 40 countries I have never come across an island covered in garbage. It's everywhere. Everything adrift in the ocean washes up on this island. No matter which hotel u choose there will be exhorbent amounts of trash. It's on every beach. The bungalows look outdated.

Review 55：Hotell charged my bankcard for the room twice. The staff is very rude and not serviceminded at all. The door to our bungalow couldn't be locked so we had to call their janitor first thing we did. bungalow standard was a joke we had a deluxe bungalow... WiFi is none existing. Bundhaya resort ruined our whole stay at koh lipe. Never again!

Review 56：The rest of the island

Review 57：The hotel had debited my credit card for the full amount of our 3 night stay the day before we arrived despite the booking terms which were that I would pay on arrival in cash or by credit card at my option. This had nothing to do with pre-authorisation which had been done 2 weeks previously. They only admitted this 2 days later when we got a free upgrade from a garden view villa to a sea view villa and my credit card costs were reimbursed. The garden view villa was very close to all the other so called garden view villas and the only garden were a few trees and potted plants at strategic intervals. It was not an accurate description. The breakfast was mediocre - chipped cups, awful coffee and poor food apart from the omelettes. The beach front service was nonexistent - get and sign for your towels at reception, sort out your own lounger and umbrella and fetch your own drinks. In short some 5 star accommodation with 2 star service. It was also the most expensive and least good hotel of our 2 week trip so far.

Review 58：The hotel is very well located at the end of the beach with good snorkeling near by. There is some excellent sea view/sea front accommodation.

Review 64：Malaysia charger count not be use there cause their pluck is different. There is only one adapter can be use which borrow from hotel. Therefore as a reminder, bring extension pluck with you. There is only one wifi password per room only, only one device can be use. The wifi is strong but not convinced with only one wifi device. We have to go to reception area or restaurant area only can access to unlimited free wifi. The wifi is strong. We also facing the problem of mosquito bite so bring mosquito med and keep them away from you. We have been suffering from mosquito bite when we using wifi at public area and ly outside seeing the stars at night time. The drinks there example coke is slightly expensive at the island. Try to bring some drinks or Mineral is better to buy there :) overall is ok.

Review 65：I love this Resort so much. We stay at beach front Bangalore. It is facing a crystal clear sea view. unfortunately we could not see direct sun rise and sun set :'( but through out the day, the sun will not directly hit to the beach, feel comfort with the sea wind and hearing sea waves sound to bed. During the night time, u can lying down to see many many stars. People at the beach and the whole island is very friendly and the staff at Bundhaya is very nice. You can book snorkeling trip under the hotel. Is a best choice to go there.

Review 66：Bf 1, were we spent our last night is not private enough & rubbishbags kept piling up on the palm tree outside our room.

Review 67：Our initial booking was a superior bungalow, we were disapointed at thesize & quality of the room, no fridge, but were able to upgrade to abungalow on the beach front. Bf2 was fantastic, beds were a little firmbut we still slept well. Pls put the fridge on a different power circuit- each time we left the room our drinks & medication got warm. Lovedthe bathroom layout, outside shower great idea. Room was always sevicedwell. Absolutely loved it.

Review 68：The toilet is dirty, some more got cockroach in there. The water pressure was so low at morning. The bed is dirty and my wife feel itchy with some insert bites on her legs.

Review 69：It was very over priced for what you get ...Internet was a joke onlyever opened home page after minutes and then died .rooms very poorlylocked...it is really easy to break in ..dvd had no english instructionand reference book in room mainly had price list of everything in theroom if it was damaged or taken .

Review 71：The first room we got had a huge insect in the bathroom and the roofcame down. After showing pictures to reception we got changed. Thesuperior room is missing a fridge which is quite needed to keep yourdrinks a bit cold. The walls are really thin so you hear everythingfrom outside or the neighbours. The matrass of the bed is a bit hard.We did not have a bad time in this resort but it is a bit pricy forwhat you get.

Review 72：The resort is just next to the immigration office and straight on thebeach. Staff is helpfull and friendly.The breakfast is a buffet so youcan take as much as you like and there is enough choice. The superiorroom has airco, a tv and dvd player.

Review 73：The accommodation huts were cheap with paper thin walls. Also the air con was not very efficient. Finally, a notice in the room warns of a "thief dog". Take this seriously ! We left sandals out and the klepto canine made off with one in the night !
