Review 1：Location was a plus; within walking distance to a variety of local business. The property was very well maintained and well worth the cost of the stay. Plus the view from the pool area for sunrise and sunset was great.

Review 2：We booked online in advance for my birthday and ordered two king sized. They gave one away and my friends got the king while I had 2 full sized beds.. Not romantic

Review 4：The room had a lot of dated furniture. Before checking in, we asked to look at the room, the first room (106) had a very disgusting looking sofa in there, so we asked to be moved into another room. The front desk staff said that it shouldn't be, but it was. The second room (141) was a little bit better but it had a bad musty odor in there. Once we got settled. I noticed the comforter on the bed had a whole in it that look dirty(I have pictures to prove it). Our pillows had brown spots on them, and the ironing boards was disgusting. Me and my husband went and got 2 can of Lysol so we can spray the rooms down and comforter to sleep on. The next day, after leaving the room; I asked the gentleman at the desk why no one clean the room after we return from a day out and his response was that we had a do not disturb sign on the door. In which was true. But the sign was remove before we left at 10 am in the morning. So I'm guessing that house keeping left at 10:30 am. I think the rooms are overcharged for what it look like in the room and outside, but me and my husband we tried to stay somewhere that was a little bit different and it was. I thought I was going to be sitting on the dock of the bay. HA! We are going to be returning back to Destin, Fl but not in this neck of the wood. The staff was okay, but the room was terrible. If the owner would do a little updating on the furniture I think that would be an okay hotel, resort, or whatever you want to call it. This was a very bad experiment.

Review 5：The best part about this hotel was looking from my rear mirror LEAVING!

Review 6：Nothing, really, except a big black pickup truck was always in the space in front of our room. Not the fault of the hotel, though!

Review 7：Convenient to everything. Walk to restaurants, grocery (Publix), harbor, beaches and city park. Kitchenette is a plus!

Review 9：Our room was not serviced for 4 out of 6. One day they cleaned the bathroom but didn't bother to leave a trash can liner. We arrived 3 hours after check in & still had to Waite an hour to go to our room which did not have a complete set of towels. We made our own beds daily & had to threaten to contest our charges in order for the housekeeping person to come in & clean our room after 3 days of no service. Front desk rarely had adequate personnel to deal with any problem.

Review 11：It would be very nice if the doors were upgraded to keyless entry. Entry to the pool and hot tub should also be controlled to ensure only registered guests/owners are permitted to use these facilities.

Review 12：The staff was friendly and helpful. There were activities scheduled almost every day of the week to introduce guests to the surrounding area and each other. Kitchenette was fully stocked with dishes and utensils. The grounds were well maintained and beautiful. Within walking distance to food/beverages/shopping.

Review 17：My boyfriend and I stayed here for our anniversary and we are both from the area. Let me tell you we did not feel like we were in ft Walton Beach. It felt much more secluded and made us feel like we were on vacation for one night. The bed was clean and soooo comfortable, the ground were beautiful as well. Great place to watch the sunset.

Review 20：THIS TIME FOR IT BEING LATE WHEN WE WENT TO BED, THATS WHEN WE FOUND OUT THE BED INTHE MIDDLE WAS WET AND WAS COVERED UP BY A SPRAY LIKE FREBREEZE AND THE BED WAS VERY VERY HARD, SO DID NOT MAKE FOR A GOOD NIGHT SLEEP. WE DID INFORM THEM AT CHECKOUT BUT THEY DID NOTHING TO CHANGE IT.

Review 22：We were charged the rate of a water view room, instead we got a room in front of the parking, they refused to give us a refund and told us that book it had to take care of it, the hotel is not worth the price, there are better choices for the price.

Review 23：I liked the fact that they moved us from a room that was not very comfortable and moved us closer to the pool area and the room was so much more roomier and bathroom was larger. Was very satisified with the second room choice and thanked the gentleman for being able to satisfy our request.

Review 25：I stayed for a couple weeks and booked thinking this was a three star resort and picture i saw before booking didn't match the room i was given. This was more of a 1-2 star motel with a mini kitchenette which we paid extra for and whenever we turned electric burners on it smelled like we were starting a fire. The carpet and decor were dirty and never cleaned i had to buy lysol wipes to clean table and bathroom counters because nothing was cleaned during our stay. Housekeeping rotates maids only 1 actually did her job the rest only left clean towels.Had to ask for toilet paper every other day and had to ask to get fresh sheets.Game room was a waste of money none of the games worked correctly. Walls are thin could here neighbors snoring and talking.Lots of people rotating in and out a lot of them got loud between 11-2 am. Pillows were so flat it was like having none. The cooler in room was really cold on its lowest setting so we had to turn it off then we get hot in room so there was no comfortable temperature. If you looking for a few days on a budget i recommend only because Destin is close by and staff is nice.

Review 29：The staff were friendly and always looking to make the residents happy. Everyone was very friendly and willing to go beyond the normal to please the customer. All amenities were maintained perfectly and the common areas were excellent.

Review 30：The bed was very uncomfortable we both had back aches every morning when we woke up. If I had complained about the mattress I might have gotten a new one of those also. We just dealt with it.

Review 31：The day I checked in I called the front desk for more towels. I only had 2 days worth and was staying 4 days. I also reported that the shower drain needed to be cleaned out because the water would not drain well and the remote for the tv would not change the channel. Within about 10 minutes 2 ladies were at my door with towels in hand and trash bags to empty trash. They were very friendly and professional. About 10 minutes after they left maintenance was at the door. He cleaned out the drain and water flowed great. He also determined that it was the tv not the remote. He took that TV out immediately and went and got another and put it in. Within about 1/2 hr. All problems were resolved by very nice people. The rooms are very dated but clean enough and excellent service. I would stay there again and recommend .

Review 35：This place is a great value. It's spread out real nicely so you can enjoy the fishing or the bbq grills and still feel like you have privacy. It's an awesome value for the money and go across the street to the Sealand restaurant. We chased our tails trying to find a good dinner place and we finally found it under our noses. This is one of the best values i've ever had period.

Review 36：The noise at night was horrible the first night. Some people were havinga party and were out until 2am. The pool and all other areas were way tocrowded. The other nights were ok because apparently the majority ofthem left in the morning. The music they played was so loud that even inthe room with the ac on and the tv; it was like the music was put onright in the room; however; I did not call the front desk and complain;I feel there was no way they could not have known about this.

Review 37：I liked the accessability to destin and ft walton beach wateractivities. It was a very short drive to everything. I also loved wakingup in the morning and having my coffee on my balcony and seeing thedolphins swimming by.

Review 73：The pool was nice. The marina was nice to look at and relaxing. The beds were comfortable. Room was clean.

Review 74：The 8' couch was extended in the hallway leaving only 14" to slide sideways through. This barrier was navigated each time from the bathroom to kitchenette and bed. I bruised my foot on the couch. The fire marshal should check out this poor exit route. All bathroom soaps were under the dank sink. Check in personnel were rude and when we decided to check out 5 days early we were charged for an additional day. This room was a disaster for any one older. Tub was the only partial support to assist with using toilet. I cried every time I had to navigate the narrow path and confront the low toilet. We were awakened in the morning with hammering on the wall. The vending machines were backed up against our bed. There were ants in the bathroom and kitchen.They showed no concern for my injury or reason we were leaving early. My cousin stayed in our room the next night and room service was not provided at all that day. Office did not make their guests feel welcome or safe. This was a disappointing beginning to our rare vacation.

Review 75：Location was nice. The bed was comfortable. This "room" for those who like a challenge and practice negotiation skills with on line booking and resort office staff.

Review 76：This hotel is clean, yet a little dated. They have made significant efforts to keep it updated, yet for example, they still use a traditional key for each door. But that's okay. It works just fine. They were accommodating and friendly. We had a little problem when we left our room for the day. Somehow, the safety latch flipped into place as we shut the door. When we returned that night, the door latch was engaged, and we couldn't get in. Maintenance was called to come and get us in, and he had to pry away the latch so we could get in. Luckily, we still had a deadbolt to secure the door. They even called us to make sure we were in, and that nothing was taken from our room. (a concern I mentioned when I first notified them of my problem.) All in all, it was a nice, average stay. We did not use any of the ammenities, so I can't speak to that.

Review 77：Our only complaint is that the "suites" are not two joined rooms, but a futon in the same room as the queen size bed and the kitchenette. This was unclear from the pictures. However, it was still not cramped at all and a very comfortable stay. :)

Review 78：The view of the marina was incredible, especially from the pool. The pictures do not lie. The room was very comfortable and we enjoyed having the mini kitchen, complete with silverware and plates, a full-size refrigerator and even a stove top. It was also nice to have a room with an actual DVD player and free WiFi, no strings attached. Also, every room is nonsmoking - very nice.

Review 85：The staff was unfriendly. After driving for 9 hours, we arrived at 1:00and was told to come back at 2:00 for early check-in. When we came backanother person at the front desk told us check-in time was 4:00 and ourrooms wouldn't be ready till then. I reserved a king room and wasgiven a queen size bed with a kitchen. I had no need for a kitchen atall and didn't use it. We were never told about any amenities, likea laundry room or game room. We saw them as we were leaving. Our tubfilled up to our ankles when we took a shower, but we didn't tellthe front desk because we didn't feel like dealing with them andbeing inconvenienced. They had to know it didn't drain becausesomeone had to clean the shower before we arrived.
