Review 1：I thought the bed was uncomfortable and the linens not adequate for the price of the room...also I hate not having a microwave to reheat my coffee in the morning.

Review 4：The ocean is visible from both the top and bottom floor. The suite was huge. The room was spotless and the front desk was very knowledgeable about local restaurants, etc.
Review 5：The heater was old and did not heat the room very well. Luckily I brought an extra warm blanket. It would be nice if the room had a microwave, but I was able to use the one in the office.
Review 6：The ocean view was amazing! I saw Whales spouting while I was eating my breakfast! The room was the cleanest hotel room I have ever stayed in!!!! I like the fact that there were lots of walking paths behind the hotel. Excellent photo opportunities.
Review 7：Microwave would have been nice but not a big deal. Only real problem we had was being downstairs allowed people walking on the trail outside to see into the room.

Review 9：I think the pictures and room descriptions are deceptive and once we arrived the room was not at all what we expected for the money.Very dated and mildew smelling with cheap plastic chairs on the porch/balcony.Hard bed and hard pillows.carpet appeared to be old.I do believe the room was clean but yet didn't feel that way.We left after about fifteen minutes of being in the room and we're still charged by the manager Jack even though I was told I wouldn't be charged.

Review 20：Jack welcomed me back and made sure that everything was perfect. I told him that the folks below me were smoking on their balcony and the smell was in my room and I found that distasteful. He had my room freshened and there was no further issue regarding smoke. The paths to the beautiful beaches are right below the rooms and the walking path is delightful.

Review 25：I wish there was breakfast, microwaves, and that they updated the rooms beyond outdated pink? I tried to buy a $500 gift certificate upon check out and was told I would have to wait a considerable amount of time for it, and that two clerks with no other visible customers would not be able to get to it right away. I went and bought one next door at the Beachcombers that does have microwaves, continental breakfast, and a spa, and their staff had it to me in 5 minutes.
Review 26：The location is great, located on the beach and the 10 mile walkway along it. The King room was large and spacious, with an adjoining living room. The room was very clean. I stayed here because the Beachcomber was booked.
Review 27：The front desk staff (from checkin to checkout) were engaging and made us feel we were staying in their home, as personal guests, instead of one of hundreds of hotel patrons. The ocean views from the balcony and the soothing sound of the waves were spectacular. The location was steps to the beach.

Review 32：I was disappointed in the rooms. For the money, I expected pretty top notch. The bathroom, in particular needs an update. The sink was at child level, ran slow, was cracked and just needs a makeover. It is just very dated but was clean. The heat ran constantly but did not make the room very warm. The fridge had been turned all the way down and I did not realize that til morning when my ice packs were completely melted rather than refreezing as I expected.

Review 34：We started in Washington and traveled the entire Oregon coast. Our last stop was in Fort Bragg. We wanted to stay somewhere nice with a view. This place was awesome. We had a king room and it was awesome. Very space with an unbelievable view. You can walk right onto the ocean. We saw whales and seals. I can't imagine that there is anywhere better to stay!

Review 40：This is an older, but updated property. It's a little quirky and the room layout was a bit odd. If you can get past that, the room was very functional, comfortable and clean. The room has a large bay window with amazing coastal views. There is also a small balcony perfectly suited for enjoying the sunset. The bed was very comfortable. The room was quiet. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Property is adjacent to a paved trail for walking, biking and horseback riding. The Pudding Creek Trestle is a very short walk down the trail. There are many trails to the beach and rock outcroppings with even more amazing coastal vistas.

Review 47：I love this place! It's a slight bit outdated but the rooms are very unusual and extremely comfortable and spacious. The view of the ocean is perfect and the trails leading down are very convenient. They let me check in as early as I arrived since they had space, no questions asked. They were very accommodating and very kind and helpful.

The price was very high for the slightly-dated hotel but it was the 4th of July weekend, so prices were raised about 40%.
