Review 1：Only critism would be the hotel should consider first impressions and an alternate route to the hotel. Currently they pick you up from Pattaya beach via motorcycle tuk tuk and drive you though the back streets to the back of the hotel which unfortunately is a hideous building site. So the first thing you see is the building site of another property complete with bags of rubbish everywhere. You are then directed through a tarpaulin into the hotel itself, the back of which is also a bit of a building site. So first impressions of hotel aren't great. However the hotel actually is lovely and I would definitely stay again. They should really consider ferrying guests across in a long tail - then we would arrive on the spectacular beach and see the lovely front of the hotel first!
Review 2：Great location on a stunning beach - you can snorkel right off the beach. The staff were excellent - so friendly and helpful. The room was lovely inside and always clean, great bathroom with really powerful shower.

Review 6：Very helpful staff, great service, food good, breakfast has many options, cappuccino strong, drinks and smoothy tasty, walking distance from ocean. Free kayak rentals. Good place to chill and hangout. Just keep in mind that if you book a mountain room, it is a bit ok a hike to the room. There are cheaper accommodations around, but if you can afford it and want comfort, like modern decor, easy access to beach, this is the place! There is a reataurant next door Serendipity has nice view, and drinks.
Review 7：The baddest wifi in our entire trip, this is not acceptable for a $100 + priced hotel. It even disconnects. Phone line didn't work, in case of emergency you are left to faith. Pool was dirty, nobody swims which says enough. We booked the i-garden room which had a very odd bathroom. This design I would never understand, a open shower which a dirty stained curtain that leaves the opportunity to everyone from the outside and insects/bugs/geckos to easily come in. If it's raining you're doomed. Unless you're a nature fan avoid this and book a room with a inside shower but the prices are high of those rooms. Also charging 3% on credit card payments, so bring cash.
Review 8：Located on Sunrise beach, the most beautiful side of Koh Lipe with an amazing view. Staff was friendly and helpful. Picking you up from the ferry and back. Food was enjoyable and not pricey at all. Free kayak available. Walking street is 15min walk away. Go there for night entertainment and good seafood ( King Crab!)
Review 9：Not a good location for snorkeling The bathroom had only a shower curtain between the outside and inside. It kept blowing off during rain storms. So lots of water from the outside, mosquitos, and embarrassing if it comes off while taking a shower exposing anyone in the shower to other guests and hotel employees outside the room.

Review 12：Close to the beach, good swimming pool. It's the best hotel on the island. Employees are very nice and sweet. One of our luggagees missed when we left the island for it was taken to another long-tail boat by mistake. The moment I called the customer service, they contacted the speedboat company and asked them to check it for me. Finally, with the help of the speedboat company we found our missing luggage. So happy. Thank you for your help.
Review 13：No adaptor for charging gadgets. Curtain use to cover bathroom room 103 is dirty and smelly. Should be replaced immediately.

Review 16：Idyllic is an appropriate name. Location by the beach , rooms clean and spacious and the staff were very friendly and looked after us well. Peacefully located away from the centre.
Review 17：Stayed in an 1 garden room. This has a full length corner window, i get the concept of it but in reality it just doesn't work. The full length corner window was useless as our room was on the main path though the hotel so had to keep curtains shut - having voiles up would have solved this problem . Bathroom - this has an outside shower room - this was covered by a dirty mouldy curtain as without it everyone walking by would see in .It also didn't feel secure as this had no actual window so anyone could have climbed through and into our room. The bathroom also has a mouldy curtain covering the glass panel facing the bedroom - to keep the sunlight out on a morning i guess - this would have made more sense on the side of the bedroom to be closed as required. Chips in walls, room in general disrepair and far too expensive for what it was, pool dirty and tiles falling off the sides. Breakfast was very poor as everything was cold - even the eggs they cooked just for you arrived cold! Staff never smiled or looked happy and just seemed to wander around in circles as there were so many of them.They are doing building work here and adding more rooms - it would be better to sort the ones they already have first.

Review 19：I found staff is not honest enough. I booked I-luxury and they arrange i-comfy for me. I did not notice and ask further upon check in as I'm rushing out for dinner after bathing. But I'm lucky enough as the room water heater is spoilt and I'm being upgrade to I-breeze at the same night. So, be aware the room type you booked and if possible, please capture all the room spec as a proof (In case they argue with you).

Review 23：breakfast is poor and can be improved. While the setting is great and you have breakfast overlooking the beach, the food is of poor quality. The beans were cold and the potato uncooked and too hard to eat (for 3 mornings in a row). the wifi needs to be improved as it crashes all the time the bathroom in the room is too dark be aware of I mountain rooms, there are like 100 steps to reach the room.

No pressure for the water in the bath (2 hours to fill up), and again no solution proposed, staff was useless. Location is quite bad cuz you have to pass by the beach for about 200m to go anywhere. Food is just ok. Pool water very cold. Way too overpriced ! Its a rate for a 5 stars hotel but the service is more like 2 or 3 stars.

Review 35：we stayed at layana resort in ko lanta the previous night. it's one of the best resorts in all of thailand and still it was cheaper. five stars my a$$. slow and unattemptive staff, with extremely poor english, too busy doing their nails and lipstick, poor breakfast, spiderwebs in the bathroom, bathroom sink spilled water all over the place when tap was open, yellow water or no water, extremely poor access if you want to walk to the hotel, no wifi in the bedroom. don't get me wrong, the place is beautiful and it's one of the best resorts in ko lipe, but the price they charge for the service they give you is just ridiculous. I felt ROBBED.

Review 72：The staff seems to be tired and not motivated. The breakfast was not to our expectations considering the price. The most disappointing point however is that when we arrive we already had booked one night and we asked to extend one more night. The reception told us that they were fully booked but they had a room at a stupidly high price (close to 12000 Thai Baht, when we had a room for half that price). So we check on the internet (booking.com) and we got again plenty of rooms available for the same price we paid before. We did not appreciate this approach of trying to cheat us.

Local staff has little clue how to operate the modern machinery, little clue about what sincere quality service is. Only one person (of the many persons always around) spoke English. After travelling in Thailand for sometime I can see this is a common theme and many places the maintenance isnot upkept. The front pool was missing many tiles and was quite unclean.The resort is still stunning, but if the maintenance is not kept up I amworried it may not stay this way.
