This countryside hotel is located in Tällberg, 7.5 miles north of Leksand. It offers 2 swimming pools, saunas and views of Lake Siljan.
Green Hotel’s history dates back to 1917, and the staff still wears regional folk costumes.
Some guest rooms include traditional Dalarna décor and all have views of the grounds or lake.
General facilities include a tennis court and a children’s playground. Cross-country skiing is popular in winter. Excellent downhill skiing can be found a 2 hour drive away in Sälen.
Green’s restaurant uses locally produced ingredients. Meals can be had on the terrace during the summer.

Review 1：The only tiny cons is nice but a bit overpriced dinner at the hotel. But since there is not much choice in the town, it worked well for us.

Review 2：Everything! The hotel has its atmosphere, very authentic and cozy! The surroundings is beautiful! Would recommend both to families and couples.

Review 3：upon arrival at the reception it seemed that the women on duty was under some pressure because of the amount of people checking in. Result = no welcome really .... or smile. Our room was not far from reception on the top floor of a cabin but there was no offer of help with the baggage... not a happy teddy. The bed was against a pitched roof = couldn't sit up in bed unless Id booked in for spinal surgery prior to arrival...WiFi poor or none in room.I could go on but suffice to say we wont be going back.

Review 5：A beautiful hotel with a lot of history. A fantastic setting overlooking Lake Siljan, it is a very comfortable, cozy hotel that makes you feel at home.

Review 6：However the picture of the rooms don't look at all like the real rooms. The rooms are really small, with no air-condition and the bathrooms need renovation. Our room was very hot and damp, and smelled of mold.

Review 10：The view of Lake Siljan was gorgeous. The authentic /Swedish costumes worn by staff give the guest a feeling of experiencing historic Sweden. The facilities were wonderful, we enjoyed soaking in the spa in the Light rain. The candles lit everywhere and fire in the fireplace created a warm and magical ambience. we loved our stay!!!

Review 22：Rather thin walls so you could hear the people in the restaurant beneath and the neighbour's TV. The sink was blocked. The plug over the bathroom mirror was so shaky that we didn't dare to use it, and the mirror itself was smeary.

Review 23：Most amazing view; if you have the chance, book a room with a view on the Siljan. Lovely service, gorgeously antique furniture. A warm cupboard and floor heating in the bathroom - pure luxury. Altogether a very pleasant experience.

Review 24：Rooms rely on the balcony view to make them special, but for the price the feeling inside was a bit of a let down, especially the bathrooms. Breakfast was dispointing compared with other equal value hotels.

Review 26：The view! The ambience! This is really Dalarna at it´s best, no fake folklore (as in some nearby hotels). The kitchen is also very good, and the staff very friendly.

Review 27：The only problem was the pricing of the after dinner liquers per cl. We have never see this before and did not realise this when we ordered. We got and were charged for a 6cl. glass so 6 times more than the amount on the menu. We were told this was standard for Sweden but we have not seen this in any other places we have stayed.

Review 28：Tallberg is a very pretty part of the lake and this hotel is reasonably priced for the area. Our room was spacious and had a great view of the lake. The bathroom was small but all in all a very comfortable stay. Buffet breakfast was good and we also had dinner there (as there is not much else around). It was a set menu for 2 or 3 courses. We had 2 courses which was plenty. It was delicious.
