Review 1：No shelter to unload luggage, rain dripping in the halls, very loud , carpets were filthy, beds linens weren't clean

Review 3：Didn't like how thin walls were. The couple next to us had a very bad fight our first night. I don't mean an argument either. A fight. So much cussing and screaming. Things being thrown. It was horrible. Lasted for quite awhile. I was actually scared staying there after that. Other than that stay was good.

Review 18：While I was booking my room, there was an option for checking in at an earlier time. I opted for the early check in. However when I got there, I was informed a room would not be ready until 3 pm. I arrived at the hotel at 10 am. Until a room was available my husband and I went to the beach and site seeing.

Review 19：Elevator takes forever, rooms have outside entrance, doesn't have a view of the beach but can see the ocean, dryer wasn't working to dry our beach towels.

But the next day the towels looked bleached and clean. There was no mildew smell and the room was very cool. Nice to have a fridge and microwave

Review 25：Kids were cleaning everything but everyone was nice. Dryers didn't work. Older hotel. Not many staff to help u at front desk if they r on the phone they keep u waiting forever. This hotel is near emerald beach but the better beaches are further down over the bridge. I recommend silver beach or Crystal beach, almost no seaweed. Emerald coast inn is about 20 min. From those beaches. I heard Santa Rosa beach was gorgeous but we never made it that far out.

Also, even though it was relatively close to the beach, we still needed to drive the car to get there because we couldn't cross the big street and walk all the way there carrying all our stuff.

Review 46：Our room was not in very good shape . Bathroom sink had a crack in itcausing it to leak onto the floor, it also had a draining issue and didnot drain properly. The carpet leading into the bathroom was lifted upshowing the tack strip and we ended up sliding our feet on more thanonce . One elevator for 60 rooms and the staff would insure they hadfull use of it before their guest leaving us to wait or we carried allof our things up the stairs for the 4 nights we stayed. Staff hadchildren working with them . The breakfast was poor , we watchedeverything being cooked in the microwave and the food server ate out ofthe food being put out no gloves were used.

Review 48：This place was horrilbe!!! Do not stay! Each room should be $50 a night.We left after the first night. It was old and unclean. I wouldn'tstay here even if they paid me. Nothing but charlatans!

Review 50：I had a horrible stay, first of all the room was dirty and the bathroom was so small, not even a lavatory outside. The smell of mariguana was day and night. As soon as you would step outside the smell was terrible and even inside the room. I had a 3 night stay and I asked them if I could check out one day early and they said I would not get a refund at all. Even though I was telling them 24 hours before. The breakfast was OK. This is definitely not a family oriented place.

But when we walked into the lobby and then i to our room, everything was just as nice as the pictures on the website. All employees were accommodating and polite. Review 85：Be alert and aware when you pull out into traffic. In Seattle, I don't see challenging driving conditions. Take your time driving here, and you may have to wait a good minute before you can safely enter or cross the road.

Review 106：It is a Inn. Which means the lobby is in one area. The rooms are in another. The rooms are fully open to anyone to come to ur door. Without going through the lobby. At least it isn't open outside. U have to go up the stairs and the rooms are down the hall. This is the only thing we didn't like. Other wise everything has been redone. Paint. New beds. Clean. Halls and stairs. Not good but it is the beach area. Hard to keep perfect

Review 107：The beds were like brand new. Such great sleep, having a fridge and micro wave, great location if u can't be right on the beach. Drink machines, ice. Free coffee all the time in lobby, continental breakfast was Awsome The attendant working Sunday night oct 12th with curly hair. And very pretty. Made us a pot of coffee for our thermos because we were leaving at 530 am. And would t be able to get coffee for our trip. That was above and beyond what she had to do for us. Cutos to her. She was Awsome to do that

However, there were a couple of days where other people on this floor who did smoke were smoking at the end of the hall so you had to pass thru a cloud of smoke to get downstairs or to your room. Review 120：The hotel looked old and I felt like I payed too much for this hotel where I could have stayed on a better one for the same price. The staff did not provide new toiletries on the next day. I was expecting a fresh batch of soap and shampoo but nothing was placed on the bathroom. There was no complimentary bottled water and the entrance to the hotel is a bit hard to get into if your on the other side of the lane. Free breakfast is kind of poor. There is not enough variety plus add the fact that you are crammed in that small lobby when your eating breakfast. If you are on a budget you can stay in a different hotel than this if your only planning is a place to sleep on. If your expecting a nice looking hotel, look else where. The facility is really small and the pool is not even worth using.

Review 121：I like how the rooms are clean, comfy, quiet and smell nice.The room was pretty big and they provide wifi access. There is a microwave on the room so that makes it convenient if you need to heat some food. Checking in and checking out is a breeze on this hotel. The staff are pretty helpful giving you information on any events close to the area. They keep your records so that next time if you want to stay on this hotel. Its easier to register.

Review 122：I didn't like that there was not a lock on the top of the door. My 2 yr old daughter is very independent and loves to open doors. Which was no good for us in the morning seeing she wakes before everyone else.

Review 125：The building looked run down until you were inside the lobby or room. It was hard turning on to the highway because the hotel is so close to the bridge which is the entrance to Okaloosa Island. The traffic was the worse I've ever seen. The guest next to us kept slamming the door unail around 4 in the morning both nights we were there. Our shower drain was clogged but the staff was quick to fix it.

Review 126：The staff was very friendly and let us check in early. The room was very clean and even had a minice fridge and microwave which we gladly took advantage off. The beds were very comfortable. The hotel was minutes away from 2 very nice public beach accesses. And the hotel was surrounded by quite a few surf/gift shops and many restaurants including Fudpuckers being 2 minutes down the road.

Review 127：Room smelled a bit musty but I would expect that from an older hotel on the coast, Wi-Fi on 3rd floor was practically unusable, hard to connect and constant drop outs.

The continental breakfast was the best!! And the staff was great. The lady handling the breakfast did an awesome job on keeping things replenished.

Review 137：The overall appearance was of a shabby, run down old property. On approaching the property it was apparent it was not going to be a pleasant stay. Outside looked run down with the wooden fence falling down. I had a reservation, made on the internet, for 5 nights. My wife and I didn't even stay one night. This was definitely not the type of hotel we would frequent. We forfeited the one nights rent and found another hotel to our liking a few blocks away. It cost more but, was worth it. Don't think I'll ever again rent a hotel from the internet without it being a name-brand property.
