Review 1：The pool water is very cold and not pleasurable for staying in for long. They really need to heat the water like they do in other hotels. The sea water is warmer.

I was hoping that the staff be more interactive and when I check in please smile and asked me if I have any other questions. I was not given any information for example is there a business center? where is the pool and fitness center? Do they have a spa or sauna room. I was given a breakfast coupon but I was not told is it buffet or how much is it/ is there an alternate area food area I can find near by. And please give me a map of the area. Oh yeah front desk try to look happy and excited instead of busy tired or just smile. Hotel need a water location like a fountain for guests so they don't spend too much on water.

Review 17：Our family has been visiting Waikiki few times and we’ve stayed in different hotels. But this hotel was the worst experience stayed that we’ve ever never had before. I booked a mini suite for three days stay in August 2015. you’ll never think that a mini suit only have a half of the bathroom; not a full bathroom; a small standup shower (not a bathtub) and a toilet right behind the door; a small corner sink outside the bathroom with no drawers, no countertop and no spaces at all to put your tooth brush and cups. Also the room was very noisy from the elevators going up and down. First we thought was thunder because was raining that day, but was not. We were unhappy and disappointed. We requested to switch to another one. The front desk guy was unprofessional, rude and he told us that they don’t have any similar rooms available; he gave us a stander smaller room and lied to us this is a better room. I took the key and roll our luggage to the room. As soon as I open the door, I notice that the room is way smaller than I thought and for sure is not a better room like the front desk guy said, and for sure is not the same price I paid for the mini suite that I booked. I asked for refund the difference and they told me that their policy is not allowing them to do the refund. I truly don’t understand what kind of policy that they have???? Not end yet. It was a nightmare at middle of the night. Someone try to break into our room. It woke us up and my daughters were terrified. I believed they heard someone in the room and they left. But in minutes later, again the door was opened and I heard the radio. I shouted “who is it” and a man responded its security check and left. Oh my god, lucky we have put on the safety lock. I can’t imagine if we didn’t have the safety lock on. I shouldn’t have trust this nice looking hotel in the website pictures and should have book for other hotels.

Review 20：The hotel was adequate but in need of sprucing up with ripped wallpaper in the room and an etched bath/shower stall. The pool was disappointing with limited shade for loungers and a view of rundown apartments. The paint was peeling on the outside of the building adding to the seediness. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Review 33：Our room (1501) was next to the lifts and you could hear the lifts from the second room. Luckily I had my children sleeping there and they didn't notice. The double bed was in the main room (with the kitchenette), I guess because of this issue. Therefore, the lift noise was less noticeable but it was strange to have the bed in the main area. Avoid rooms next to the lifts if possible.

Review 43：It's not a beach front hotel, but it's steps away for a better price. If you're looking for a fancier, more modern hotel, this hotel is not for you! It did the job for me as we were on a budget and just needing comfortable lodging. The beds are Serta Sleepers and the staff was extremely nice to me!! Parking is $22 a day, but you can prepay and go and come as you please. However, they have a tiny garage. Not sure where their staff parks because it's that tiny.

Irequested a third for my daughter. That seemed to be a big issue. Iasked for extra coffee. That was met by we have a limit. The secondhotel room I booked was unacceptable. It was very much in need ofupdating. The price that was quoted and agreed upon was different when Ichecked out. They charged me about $80 more for the second room that Ibooked. My spouse was in an accident on the last day of our trip, so Ididn't waste time at check out to argue about the price. There wasno bathtub. The size of the sink was extremely small. I don'tbelieve I will give them my over $800 for two nights again.
