Review 1：The guy who worked the front desk when we checked in named Fernando was completely cold, very UNwelcoming, had zero eye contact and just rattled off his instructions so fast that neither my husband nor I could even understand much of what he said. Also while you can see recent improvements, the work looks shoddy. Like a handyman was hired instead of a professional. Looks like new granite counters with old sinks and old faucets. To be very honest, the entire hotel from the office to the breakfast room to the rooms look extremely tacky. Lots of fake flowers put in pots with real plants. Weird colorful neon lights in the front office. With mirrored counters but more fake flowers. It's like someone had an idea to fix the place up but really REALLY should've hired a decorator and skilled workers to have done a better job. The bed was reasonable comfortable but they dont have double pane windows or weatherstripping at the doors so you hear all the car traffic that's right outside the door. It was for this reason that we checked out one day early. And honestly, we did not feel safe there. Although they offer a free breakfast, based on the condition of the hotel, we did not want to eat there.

Review 5：The breakfast room was very crowded and hard to get to the food or the tables. However the staff did their best to keep up and refill the food as needed. It was just a busy day.

Asked to be moved, had to wait until the next day to be moved to a slightly better room. Ended up leaving one night early despite being fully paid because I just couldn't bear another night. The breakfast was sub par, only went once. Free is not always worth it. You get what you pay for, and this place was okay at best. Lower your expectations and you might be just fine. The welcome basket is a nice touch and the staff were really great, not their fault this place has seen way better days.

Review 9：We didn't like the tweakers who hung out in the parking lot by their van. It was creepy. On the last day we saw a dead cockroach at the bottom of the stairs. The fan in the bathroom was too loud when you turn the light on.

Review 10：It was close to restaurants, a Walgreens & other attractions. The bed was comfortable. Good for what you pay for. It was perfect for winding down from a busy day going to different theme parks and sight seeing. The complimentary gift basket was a really nice touch & was included because we stayed for 5 days.

Review 11：Walls were thinking so you can hear your neighbors. The curtains don't keep out the outside lights at night so room doesn't get dark to sleep.

Review 12：Heater did not work in the room. Maintenance was out driving the shuttle so we asked for blankets instead. Bathroom tile was old and dirty looking. Random people outside hanging around and smoking. Toilet would not always flush completely. You can't fix infrastructure problems with potted plants!

Review 22：When we arrived there was a gentleman in a wheelchair in the doorway clearly under the influence of drugs as he was slumped over, mouth hanging open, his belongings open for all to see. We had to sidestep around him with our young children. There was another gentleman sitting on one of the couches also under the influence as he kept slumping over and dropping his phone. His pants were on the floor next to the couch and his other belongings on the other side of the couch. When my husband inquired to the concierge if it was common practice to let drug addicts hang out in the lobby his reply was that they were staying at the hotel. Unfortunately this is a poor welcome and site for incoming guest especially those with children. There was a family that was behind us and the woman was able to enter the lobby with their children in the stroller as the doorway was blocked by the man in the wheelchair slumped over with his hand on the floor. Shower water was tepid at best. TV stations were fuzzy and some didn't come in at all. Our room was on the first floor so it was very loud.

Review 23：The lobby was clean and kept up (aside from the comments in the didn't like sadly), staff was very efficient as it was busy when we checked in, the pen and pencil gift for the children was a very nice touch, our room was clean, the welcome basket was a lovely touch. The proximity to Knotts Berry Farm was perfect.

Review 24：Customer service here is 150%! The free gifts for kids, the snacks in the lobby, the shuttle, the welcome basket, free breakfast, amazing! I've stayed at the Plaza in NYC, and never gotten such amazing customer service. We will definitely be back!

Review 25：Very touchy internet throughout the week. Had a terrible time getting the WIFI to even work and had to call the desk several times to have the router reset. Because it was the Holidays, there was no one available to come out to the hotel and service it...

Review 38：The one problem was the noise. We all had difficulty sleeping due to the noise of other guests on the landing and street noise. With the lights off in the room, we were able to see a ring of light outlining the door to the outside. So, of course we could hear everything outside too.

Review 42：Did not like that you had to get your breakfast vouchers each day separately. There was also only 1 ice machine in the whole place and you needed to get an employee to turn it on for you to use. The walls were kinda thin so you could hear a car speeding down the road pretty clear.

No room for us, wehad to wait for the next shuttle which put us back 15 minutes which wemissed our apt and meeting up with another party. When we explained thisto the lobby personal he was like no biggie and showed no concern,Breakfast was OK, to busy, not enough room to eat, sausage was over cooked. eggs were good, very small place to get your breakfast

The staff were very accommodating, cheerful, and understanding. 1year ago a new owner came and remodeled all the rooms with new beds and mattresses. I'm glad I decided to stay. The breakfast was adequate. You can make your own Belgium waffles the rest is made. Complimentary apples and oranges cookies popcorn and Pepsi and coffee juice and water in the lobby. Shuttle service to Knotts, which saves on parking!

Review 60：Very, very loud. Not sure if we just had bad neighbors or if that's nornal. The only reason we wouldn't stay here again would be the noise. Everything else was super nice.

Review 88：The night front desk manager was terrible. No concept of customer service whatsoever. He failed to quiet an incredibly rowdy group the first night we stayed that kept the whole hotel awake until 2am and ignored requests for missing room amenities. The next day we were stranded without a shuttle due to a staff error - he declined to help, refused to apologize and accused us of lying. The morning front desk manager was much kinder and proved that it was, in fact, a staff error.

Review 89：Most of the staff were great. The welcome basket was wonderful and they were sweet enough to decorate one of our rooms for a birthday - a fantastic touch.

Review 90：Rooms did not block out light from outside security lights. Walls were thin and other loud guests made it hard to sleep at night. Shuttle service to Disneyland was nice, but some of the seat belts were broken.

Review 98：Parking at hotel gets full very early (like 6pm) because many guests park their cars at hotel and walk over to knott farm. Not many amenities nearby. Only Walgreens that's within walking distance. Makes it a little troublesome if you have to park your car early, and then walk to dinner.

Review 99：Great location. Very close to knott berry; in fact it's just opposite. Easy access to Disneyland via highway. Breakfast is included and they serve eggs, bacon, sausages, waffles; better than breakfast offered by hotel at this price range.

Review 111：Ants coming out of a crack in the ceiling in the closet. Hotel was undergoing renovations at the front desk, very chaotic. Key-maker was down when we checked in so we didn't get a key for our room until late the next day. Floor of our room hadn't been vacuumed prior to checkin. Free Breakfast tasted even worse than it looked, which is saying something.

Theroom was fabulous, there was a cute note to me (name and all) with anice basket of wine, water, chips and other snacks.Then the breakfast the next morning was incredible, they had it all, juice, coffee, hot chocolate, waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, oatmeal, bagels, muffins... the works! We will be staying with them again. Parking was kind of an issue. We had to park in front of the office, blocking in the van (per their request) as there was not any parking left. HOWEVER we arrived around 1:30am so it was not a huge surprise. >> We are a young couple from northern California and we took my mother and brother with us on this trip. They were very impressed as well.

Review 115：Everyone there was super nice. The rooms are newly renovated, the pool area was clean, well maintained and not very crowded. The breakfast was offered every morning and had a good variety of options. Farrell's ice cream parlor was just down the street and had a great fun atmosphere. The facility offered complimentary shuttle but Knottsberry Farms is within an easy walking distance.

Review 122：The room itself is just ok. I was disappointed that that the shower curtain smelled of mildew and bees kept flying in every time we opened door. I also found a huge cockroach, we captured and flushed it down the toilet. I thought the beds were ok, but my husband and son complained about back pain after sleeping.

Review 129：No hot water. TV remote didn't work. inconvenient getting ice. Only one coffee mug four guests. Did not like the soap (we didn't like the fragrance and it left a residue on skin). Outside Handicap check-in would have been bad if it had been raining. Wheelchair access to breakfast could have been better.

Review 131：K]Key did not work and it took three tries to finally get a key that did work. We were locked outside thedoor on a warm night waiting for the staff to remember we had a problem. Rooms smelled and so did the hall way by the elevator.

Review 132：Location and after finding out there was a greeting package and requesting one, we got it. It would have been better to have found it in our room. It is anice idea though.
