Review 1：The building is old, the room was nasty carpet had black stains. Their was an awful smell to the room. The bed spread has stains and crumbs on the bed. The sheets had strains of hair on them. Overall the room was awful

Review 3：The room was dirty. The walls were dirty, sofa was dirty rugs were dirty, unfortunately it was a smoking room because that was the only room available and the smoke smell was overwhelming. I didn't want to touch anything in the room. Next store to the hotel is a bar so it was noisy. Maybe some rooms have been renovated but not this one.

Review 5：I was double charged for my room. Staff said they could not bill by card because it was a temporary card without a name on it. So I paid in cash, and later found out they billed my card also.

Review 9：We first get the and the gentleman at the front desk must have been having a bad day because we was less than hospitable while we were checking in. My girlfriend and I looked for a non-smoking room because she can't stand the smell of smoke it gives her headaches, but as soon as we step in the room it wreaks of cigarettes. The continental breakfast was cereal in the smallest Styrofoam bowls you can find. And in the night you can hear people screaming outside.

They sat outside watching us eat breakfast the whole entire time until we left. Funny part is, another couple came and for breakfast and brought it back to their room. The laundry facilities only had one washer working and drying time took forever.

Police rode through Parking lot obviously checking out the scene. Just not for me, maybe some else but not me.

The prices of hotels in this part of California are exceptionally high compared with the rest of the state. This hotel is riding on this wave and providing travellers with a Rip-off.

Review 25：The overall appearance of the property was very disappointing, it is indire need of a make over. The paint is marred and dirty- dirty. I wastaken aback by the smell of my room; like stale grease. I purchased abottle of Febreze from the local Target and applied multiple timesduring my two-day stay. The breakfast was as poor as the rest of thefacility. When I tried to check-out the front desk was not manned. Afterringing the bell several times and waiting for 5 minutes, I just left myroom cards and drove away. I would not recommend this property, unlessit was the last place to stay in the entire bay area.

Review 28：The room was older and didn't give the impression of being clean, but it was ok. The details weren't taken care of. When we opened the fold out couch, it hit one of the beds! We had to move the bed a little to for it to fold out. There weren't any sheets for the sofa bed either, so we to call for them and wait when we were tired from traveling. Also, we had a kitchenette room that slept 6, but there were only 3 plates, and and not enough silverware for a meal.

Review 55：Do not stay here. Worst place I have ever stayed. Their rating isa horrible lie! Who ever submitted the good reviews were lessthan truthful.Let me start by saying I stay in hotels three days a week due to my business traveling. I only stay in 3 star or better. I arrived at the hotel they told me they only had smoking rooms available. They said that is what I selected on your sight. They then agreed to give me a non-smoking room and it would be ready any time after 12:00pm. Before I left I could see near the elevator 3 fifty gal. bags of trash and a broken chair. I went shopping until 2:00pm when I returned they said my room was ready. It was not. I went to get food and returned 3:15pm. The room was not clean they told me to go to my room and stay there until house keeping arrived. They arrived at 4:20pm to clean the room. The room had the smell of smoke and was musty. The carpet was shredded along the leading edge with large stains. The walls were spattered with food or what ever. They fa breezed the room so much to get rid of the smoke smell I had to open the window and leave until 5:30pm. When I came back it was still smelly. After I had gone to sleep I received a phone call and when I answered there was no one there. About 15 minutes later I could hear someone attempting to get in my room sliding a card. I got up again and asked what they wanted. I could hear someone mumbling and they departed. At check out the guy said he was sorry for calling and attempting to get into the room. He said the room showed empty on his chart and he wanted to rent it. This place is a joke! Horrible.

Review 69：I stayed at mainstay 6 years ago under different ownership. It use to be very nice - now, quite a bit run-down. Holes in walls that need to be painted, nasty, tattered carpets. Continental breakfast - waffles with no condiments, i.e. butter, no fruit, frozen pastries, no microwave.....but the staff was very friendly.Many guest appear to be homeless, maybe some kind of government program. When we arrived around midnight, the staff could not find our reservation - took very long time to correct.
