Review 1：The resort is dated (1980's); however, all that is required is to have the corridors spruced up and balconys enhanced.
Review 2：The clean mineral springs were very invigorating here, with temperatures ranging from 104°F to 80°F. The ideal rooms were on the main floor with direct access to the pool. The $50 a day premium is well worth it.

Review 9：The back office staff charged my credit card overnight with no explanation or my pre-authorization. Although I did receive apologies from the front desk but the money is now frozen with the bank for two weeks and no one has been held responsible for this "mistake".

Review 11：The first room wreaked of smoke as soon as we walked in. The front desk immediately gave us another room. Problem is the air conditioning didn't work and when I opened our patio doors to cool the room off our room was filling with the stink of cigarette smoke from the guy below sitting on his patio....ick. we had to close the door, and it was uncomfortably hot. I should have called to report the ac but it was late and I assumed there would be nothing they could do till morning. My bad, the next morning it was a 3 minute fix. And next time I'll report the inconsiderate smoker too, it is a non smoking hotel after all!

Review 15：This motel/spa needs a Total remodel!! The carpets through out are worn and Dirty. There was tile falling off the shower in our room 241 The restaurant tables and furniture need refinishing,and the walls in all areas needed repainting.

Review 20：The walls are paper thin!! The neighbors next door partied all night long, and after multiple calls to desk, they never stopped. Also, when checking in, our door card would not work. Had to go back 3 times for them to reprogram. Although they were nice at front desk, it was not a great experience - nor did they ever say they would compensate us in any way for all the mishaps. It was only after I complained at checkout that they offered to comp our room service - and ONLY when I got upset.

The bathroom floor was littered with hair. 3. Some of the lights did not work, which made it difficult to read the phone which did not work or the menus! 4.Beds were very hard. 5. The area is scary, every other business has bars on the windows and doors. 6.Was told there was handicapped parking where we needed to park, and there was, however it is not policed so anyone and everyone parks there! 7. Was told that there would be a rolling luggage rack to take our bags up, there was not one until the next day! 8. My 91 Y.O. mother did not have a very nice trip! She deserves to have a nice comfortable stay!

Review 30：The hot springs were great. Room was updated and staff was willing to move us from our first room that have no view to one that did. As a family business owner you can't always make everyone happy. I found the negative reviews I read to be exaggerated and wish the people that complain actually had basis for making these claims. Would come back for sure!

Review 37：NOT the management's fault, but someone smoking in the next (non-smoking!) room flooded my room with their second-hand smoke. I had to close my balcony door. (Boo-hoo!) The ice machine and elevator were not functioning on the first floor; had to walk up to the second floor for ice. (Double-boo-hoo!) These are the kinds of "problems" I always wanted!
Review 38：Room 155 was at the end of a corridor, nice and quiet, but near a door out to the pools, which I used at all hours of the day and night. Junior suite was large, clean and well-appointed (min-fridge, microwave), with a sliding door to a small balcony facing sunset.

Review 41：Whats the point of haven a spa if the pillows are so thick you wake up with pain. Pillow caused us both to have neck pain. Just the kind of thing you go to a spa for. Took for ever to check in. Check in is at 4 yet there was only one very slow person. Took at least 10 to 20 minutes a person. after an hour some one else came to help and the line started to move. We were there for only one night so that eats in to the length of our stay. The room smelled funny. Moldy and dirty though it looked clean.

Review 47：Some of our family live in or near Desert Hot Springs so we looked online for a hotel to use when visiting them. We checked into your resort Saturday, December 6 and checked out Monday December 8th. We chose your resort due to pictures and comments we read online as well as the good ratings we saw. Our experience was somewhat different than what we expected.When entering the lobby to check in, I was impressed with both the lobby and people at the desk. We parked and entered through the side door to get to our room (room 108). Our first impressions was that the carpet was in bad need of cleaning. When we entered our room it was okay but not great. The pictures we looked at online were much nicer than what we experienced. My wife turned the bed down to find black hair on the sheets. In the bathroom there was more black hair in the tub and no wash clothes (housekeeping did bring us wash clothes). The coffee maker had a layer of dust on it like it had not been cleaned or used for a long time. We brought our luggage in and left to spend the day with our family.When we were ready to head out Sunday morning around 9:15, we found a paper that had been slid under the door saying housekeeping has skipped our room due to the Do Not Disturb sign on the door. We had to call to arrange for housekeeping to come back and clean the room. I have never been in a hotel where housekeeping didn’t come back later in the morning to check on rooms that were occupied earlier.When we got back to our room Sunday night, the room had been cleaned but was very warm. We tried to use the air conditioner to find it wasn’t working. Just warm air came out. It was quite late so we knew nothing could be done that night. Upon leaving the next morning, my wife told the lady who was cleaning the room across the hall about the air conditioner and she just laughed, saying nothing else. We did let the lady at the front desk know when we checked out.
Review 48：Some family and friends met us at the resort Monday morning where we ate in the restaurant by the lobby. The food and service were both wonderful. That was about the only thing positive we were able to say about our stay.

After a long day, it's nice to know that you can relax in the Jacuzzi without worrying that the pool area closes at 9 or 10pm. The staff is very nice. The facilities are dated, but clean. Review 63：No towels at check in. Front Desk employees are rude & are busy talking to eachother! Way too many kids in the pool..I got kicked, hit in the head & hit in the head with a water bazooka!! The chairs area old & most are broken! We were told that we were not allowed to bring in our own water & snacks...but saw atleast 5 other groups with "rolling coolers" packed with stuff. Constant kids running thru the halls at 1am! Room smelt gross....wet & moldy! No supervision in the pool area...it was a free for all..NO RELAXATION HERE!!! You get what you paid for...Cheap Rates = Cheap Service & NO RELAXATION
