Reviews for Juneberry Lodge
Review 1:The hosts were very hospitable, friendly, accommodating, and easy to get along with. Outstanding views of the bay and mountains from our loft windows. 10+ minute drive into town.
Review 2:We got fish from the boat and they cooked it. Made a bon fire. And hung out with us and had a great conversation!! It was amazing and we are going to stay there next time. :) BEST part of all they made amazing sourdough blueberry pancakes with sausage and coffee or tea!!!!
Review 3:Nothing really. A couple of guests were slightly loud around bedtime (they'd probably say the same about us, as we got up very early the next morning).
Review 4:Friendly, clean, convenient location, affordable.
Review 5:Liked that the bath was connected to the bedroom - private bath. The location was fine, nice view of the mountains and bay surrounding Homer. We were only in Homer for a short overnight visit.
Review 6:Stunning in every way! The hosts, the view, the wonderfully restored building, and the amazing homemade breakfast. They booked us up front at AJ's for a dinner show with an Alaskan treasure Hobo Jim. Made the overnight trip to Alaska just to stay at the Juneberry and it was well worth it.
Review 7:the earthquake happened while we were there but even that wasn't scary just interesting!

Review 9:First of all, the hosts were amazingly friendly. I enjoyed their company, and at breakfast time, tremendously enjoyed the company of the other guests. Breakfasts were amazingly good, with a very homey touch to them.

Review 11:Our hosts were wonderful...the breakfasts were delicious, the view spectacular... Will recommend this to others... Would love to stay again...
Review 12:It's always a good memory to recall. It's a very spacious housebuilt in 1980s, reminding the old days here and there in the house.Everything is clean and tidy there. The owners, .Marcia and Mannfried, are very very friendly to their guests. The breakfast is home made, verydelicious, pancake fresh from the pot, until you are done.Very quiet allthe time. Very beautiful view of the ocean from the house. By the way,do not waste any water! We learnt in the chatting with the owners thatthe water used at home has to be brought in from nearby area, but theowners have no extra requirements for the guests.
Review 13:The innkeepers, Marcia and Mannfried, are warm and welcoming, informative and helpful. Their historic and beautiful lodge is nestled above the Kachemak Bay with an outstanding view! Our group stayed in the Loft with Bunk room and had plenty of comfortable space along with a full bathroom. Wildlife abounds! Juneberry Lodge is located close enough to town but not in it: a perfect getaway! We are certainly returning and bringing our out of town guests as well!
Review 14:Note they have a tank for the water system and shower time should be limited.
Review 15:New owners, newly remodeled, quaint and cozy. Everything a bed and breakfast should be. Beautiful view, about 15 min. from the spit. Sourdough pancakes and sausage for b-fast.
Review 16:The only thing I did not like was that our stay was not long enough.
