Review 1：Not a total bad experience but it would have been nice not to see a few burn marks from cigarettes on the tub.
Review 2：El Rancho Inn was a convenient stay for the purpose of needing a place to rest my head and be on my way in the morning as I was traveling for business. Pricing was good for what I needed. I didn't have much interaction with the staff besides checking in and dropping off my key. However, they were polite.
Review 3：AC could work more efficient. It was also a bit noisy, one could hear the traffic making sleeping difficult.

Review 7：When we reserved the room it asked for a card to put on file but noted it would not charge since we selected the "pay later" option. When we got there they told us the first night had already been charged as a prevention for no shows. I didn't like that but it wasn't a major issue for us.

Review 10：I was traveling on federal government business, and the staff wouldn't accept California's own tax exemption form for government travel. I think because I got a low rate from this travel site, they put me in a room right at the top of the stairs so it was noisy. The vanity counter was coated with a film and the bathroom window was open with cigarette ash all over from previous occupants. The neighborhood wasn't bad. Parking was fine.

Review 23：I chose Hawthorne as it is close to LA airport. Stayed for a couple of days before my trip to San Diego. This is not a nice town with just fastfoods around. relatively close to LA but a lot of traffic still makes it a big journey

Review 35：The key cards are deactivated very often. Such an inconvenience. You reached back to your hotel door at night only to realize your card is not working. You have to go to the office to reactivate it. The room are not cleaned properly. I stayed for 6 days, and there where vomit stains outside my bathtub for a previous guest visit. They come in to clean daily, but never wiped the outside of the bathtub. The carpet is very very dirty. You need a slipper ALL the time. Do not want to put your feet on that dirty ground of any time. A lot of "shady" characters stay on this premise. You always have to be looking around and wondering. Every day we smell weed. Not sure if it was a guest, but there was a strong weed smell each night. No coffee in the room No iron in room

The lady I first talked to said $134 + 12% tax = $150.08. Then the husband walked in and said the room charge was $160.16. I was tired and did not want to argue over ten bucks, but that bugged me.

The walls arepaper thin and aside from the noise from the traffic, the parking lotand the planes, we were unfortunate enough to have a room next to anextremely 'amourous' couple, (at one point, I wondered whether Ishould call the police because I didn't know whether the screamingwas because someone was being hurt or not, who played loud music until3am, who's activities actually made our own bed vibrate, who keptcoming in and out of their room and going to their car, at one pointdriving away (leaving the music in their room on full blast) and thencoming back 20 mins later. If I hadn't been for the fact we had toget up at 4am to catch a flight and it was already 3am, I would haveasked reception to change our room. I didn't sleep at all.The area itself is not so pleasant after dark - as a woman I would not advise any lone woman to stay there. When we came back late from dinner (12:30 am), there were people in the car park who immediately drove off when we arrived. Although the bathroom was absolutely spotless, the room itself clean and the sheets of good quality, there were stains on the blue comforter on our bed - I'm pretty sure I don't need to explain what kind of stains they were. In short, probably the best value option around in the lower price range, but if you're a light sleeper or a lone female, it might not be the place for you.

Theprice is good (for L.a) and the, as we had an early morning flight tocatch from lax, the location is good for those needing to getto/from the airport. The girl on reception was friendly andwelcoming. We were given a large modernized room on the second floorwhich was, for the most part, very clean. There was a fridge and amicrowave and a large tv and the wifi worked well.
