Review 1：We travel a lot and can compare hotels/motels very honestly. Itwas freezing in our room and the outdated heater that kept cuttingout could not warm the room. The heater in the bathroom didn'twork. There were ants and a black widow spider. The shower didn'tdrain well. Who still has ppv porn anymore? Tacky! Carpets werefilthy. Had to call the police for domestic violence issue. The"continental breakfast" was a joke. Door had hole largeenough for rat to get in.
Review 2：The location is the only thing this place has going for it. It'slocated in Ft. Bragg along the Northern ca coastline.
Review 3：The bed was rock hard. Bedding needs to be upgraded. There was no shower curtain on the shower. Whole room is a bit run down. They served Tang in instead of orange juice and wonder bread was for bagels I imagine. Who serves that stuff? Disgusting.

Review 5：Run down, rooms / hotel need upgrades like paint & fixtures. Bathroom fan was very noisy with noise not always consistent but always annoying. As mentioned, in room heater inadequate, room didn't heat up after 2 hours.

Review 7：Not a bad experience but if people have a reservation, turn on the heat before they arrive when it's cold out. I arrived around 3PM and it took till after 8pm for it to be warm enough to take off my jacket. Also, if the tub won't clean anymore, get a new one or get it refinished.

Review 9：The bathroom didn't have very much area to put all of our toiletries and no hooks to hang clothes on. The breakfast was only cold cereal and bread for toast and coffee, no hot tea or sweet rolls or muffins.

Review 11：We are not picky travelers and usually stay at these small, old motels. In comparing this place to others of comparable quality, the Ebb Tide is in the lower range of places of this type. The toilet seat in the room was cracked in two and pinched when we sat on it. There was only one hand towel in a room for two people and no shampoo. The clock radio was on the shelf above the hanger rod. When I plugged it in, the clock worked but the radio did not work. The room had a small round table and two chairs, but no dresser or credenza to put suitcases on - the TV hung on a blank wall with nothing under it. The mattress pad looked like it was for a full bed, not a queen, so our feet were on the hard, tough mattress all night. The bedspread looked like it should have been on a king bed - I kept tripping on the excess at the end of the bed. Overall, this room was sub-par, even for an old motel.

Also offered continental breakfast. We could not find other accommodations so waaay overpaid for this place, if I knew then what I know now I would have stayed outside of Ft. Bragg rather than stay here if I couldn't find anything else.
Review 47：The out side of the facility was dirty and seemingly run down . It seemed so unnecessary , considering it was a please tell enough stature. The coffee was so weak I couldn't drink it - and never saw the breakfast they advertised?

Review 52：Wi-Fi was weak in our room, even with two different routers, but reportedly was great if you are in the office. Beds were hard as rocks. Some cleanliness issues, like hairs on beds, in the bathtub. Staff gave us the wrong room at first. Had to call manager to find out which room we were supposed to have.
Review 53：They have a classic, rustic, motel near the center of town. The local movie theater is around the corner. Motel faces the ocean with some obstructions. Suite was a large room with 3 queen size beds, including small kitchen area. Room was very quiet. TV was DirecTV which had nice selection.
Review 54：The grounds were unkept with weeds in the flower beds and the grass wasn't cut. The staff seemed put out when we asked for extra towels and I wasn't sure that the housekeeper even understood my request until I used hand gestures. The front desk clerk was unhelpful and almost sullen when I was asking about local attractions and things to do in the area, not at all an ambassador for her establishment nor Fort Bragg in general.

They advertised free breakfast, but the lobby was empty and locked at 7 am, and still at 8:30 am when I had to check out, I left hungry and without coffee. The Wi-Fi only worked well when I was by the window on my room. Horrible!!!

Review 84：They advertise free breakfast. Half of the mornings I have been here there has been NO COFFEE. Once there was bread with nothing else, not even lubricant. The owners are from a culture where they do not operate like other groups. In years of traveling I have found that when they buy a store or gas station the first thing they do is close the bathrooms. Also the toilet paper is so thin that you can not pull it off the roll. I guess I am lucky as at home they do not have any paper at all. They advertise breakfast and then cheat you. Can you help me and my fellow travelers? Someone needs to put the truth on your site. This is a cheat.
Review 85：The fact that many items, such as heater, fan & heater in bathroom were at least 30 years old and barely functioning. The wash basin had no plug and the waste pipe was blocked. We asked for a plunger to see if we could unblock the waste pipe, but all that achieved was a jet of muck expelled from the overflow! The microwave oven hadn't been cleaned, and had pizza splattered in it. Marks out of ten....3.

Review 92：I was in Room 119 and there were bedbugs crawling out from the mattress area of my bed. I have photos to prove it. I noticed this after three hours of sleep when I turned on the light. After that I spent two hours showering, rinsing clothes in hot water and checking my stuff to put it into the car. I then put on a set of clothes and unsuccessfully tried to sleep on a chair. This was insane, unpleasant to the extreme and obviously completely unacceptable. Staff just said they were "sorry", offered no financial accommodations and said "once the room is charged it's charged".

Review 95：Loved the location. RIght on the 1 highway, essentially right across the road from the beach. Short walking distance to nice shops of Main & Franklin Streets. My second time here, have already booked the third. Quiet enough, even though right on the main drag.
Review 96：It's old. The cleaning was inconsistant. Some things were sparkly clean like the tiles, other things were filthy like the light switches. Had to move rooms because the heat was stuck on high in the first room.

Review 98：They almost canceled or reservation because we came late, I had to pound on the door to wake a very unhappy Indian guy at 11pm. They called to check on us at 7pm but without any reception in the area you are out of luck. The room is very basic and outdated 20 years ago. No hygiene supplies except bar of soap, be prepared. But the most terrifying thing was when we had to slaughter several extremely large crickets right in the bed who bit my hand firs, and it is how they were discovered. Needless to say, not too many people will be able to lay down back in bed after discovering large insects in their bed. I would attach pictures I took if I could. Good luck.

Review 106：No shampoo. When I was in the shower and put my head back there was mold in between the tile. They had really old mattresses, one of them had an ugly stain down the side of the box spring. When we went to ask the house keeper how to use the remote she was laying on a bed. Not going back to this facility.

Review 109：The things I didn't like in our room is mainly for safety reasons. 1.There was a crack in the hotel window that wasn't fixed properly it was attempted to be fixed with clear tape. I don't think that was very safe. Also, the microwave was plugged into an extension cord which was plugged into another extension cord and that extension cord was hidden underneath the carpet and popped back out to an outlet clear on the other side of the room. I think that has to be a fire hazard. Didn't make me feel safe at all, especially since it sparked when I tried to use it. Barely any of the outlets worked. The bathroom fan is crazy loud. It almost sounds as if the fan was going to fall out of the ceiling.
Review 110：The Staff was very friendly and nice. I liked having free Wi-Fi. The room wasn't all that bad for an emergency one night stay. Close to Downtown Fort Bragg so everything was within walking distance.

Review 120：The beds were hard as rocks, it was like sleeping on the floor. The kitchen appliances were very old - vintage 50's, as was the heating system. Wi-Fi signal was week in the dining area. There were not enough parking spaces for all the rooms - I had no place to park my small boat trailer. The breakfast options were very few with only some small sweet rolls cut in half, white bread for toast, orange juice and coffee. One day out of the three we were there they had bananas set out. The breakfast buffet was to be set up from 7:00 to 10:00 but one morning everything was put away before 9:00.
Review 121：The room was very spacious with 3 queen beds in two bedrooms, a dining room, a separate kitchen and a living room with a small microwave and refrigerator. (No coffee pot in room.)
Review 122：Bed was to hard and sags to the middle. Bathroom was to small, and the toilet paper roll was placed on the wrong wall. The motel was so cheap they cut the Danish in half. I will never stay in this motel again.
Review 123：The staff was not very helpful. There were two outlets, by the bed that did not work. They just said that we didn't need the lights. I asked for an extension cord, which they brought so I could plug in my sleep machine.They were not interested in making us comfortable. When I asked for some kind of refund she said NO. I would not stay here again. EVER!!!

Review 133：Booking.com ad says coffee pot so we did not bring one and there is not one in the room which is false advertising. Sheets stained. One wash cloth each day. Trash not empied. Breakfast is a joke. Pastry cut in half etc. Shower pan slippery had to use only hand towel to stand on. Needs updating. Bed hard and squeeked. Not worth good price paid. I straighted bed myself so not properly made. Will not stay again and would never recommend.
