Reviews for Kenai Peninsula Suites

Review 1:The views are stunning from this property! Our room (The Alder) was gorgeous & cozy feeling. We loved having a full kitchen in our suite along with a grill on the balcony. We will definitely be staying here again.

Review 2:This Suite met all our needs. We wanted a suite with a fireplace for atmosphere, a kitchen, comfortable bed, a place to relax and watch a sunset. We had all of the above and more. The hot tub was very nice. Nice furnishings, very clean. Quiet.

Review 3:Hours ofthebhot tub. Should be allowed use at any tme.

Review 4:We stayed at Eagles Nest Cabin, it was beautiful, the facility was stocked with everthing needed. Loved the wine glass holder (rake).

Review 5:The setting and the accommodations were fantastic. Even though we'd seen the rooms on the website, the actual site has wonderful design and materials (largely native woods). Our only regret was not to have stayed at least one more night

Review 6:Unique style of cabins, very comfortable, feels like a real vacation treat. Our cabin (the Puffin) had everything we could have wanted, and was a pleasure to spend time in.

Review 7:It was more than I expected! Here is a list. If you are going to Homer,ak stay here and be amazied at everything from the view to the cabinsoutside and in. Every single thing is stunning!! beautiful smell when you walk in, not like hotel Lovely smell of linens and towels, not cheap cleaners Heated floors and cozy extra oversized blankets Full kitchen with nice plates, utensils, cookware, wine glasses. They have thought of everything. Kureg, not just a coffee pot. Hidden secrets like landscape in texture on wall above bed. Full Chanel's on cable TV as well as two very large tv's in the suite. Deep bathtub. Wifi with no hassles. Everything laid out for you in a binder to look at so you can choose a restaurant, charter service, church, or even trails. Most comfortable pillows and bed ever!! I love the attention to detail for this place. The owners really take PRIDE in it and you can tell. It's stunning from the outside in. Best place I have ever stayed. Period.! It should be featured on discovery channel. No lie!! If you stay there you won't regret it!

Review 8:I loved the overall thought and care put into the design and construction of the property. KPS far exceeded what I expected and what else is available for hotel lodging in the area.

Review 9:The girlfriend and I stayed here out of season and it was awesome. Everything was exactly how it looked in the pictures; nice and cozy. The room had a very warm and vibrant feel to it. I'd recommend this place a thousand times over.

Review 10:The gas fireplace in the cabin, it's nice and really sets the mood but its hot and children are attracted to fire. It would be nice if checkout were a little later or at least have that option. Jetted tubs would be a nice touch. I wasn't real impressed with the paint job on the walls in the underground rooms.

Review 11:We really liked the open floor plan, tile floors, the big mowed lawn, the fire pit, the view and the private yard w/ deck and grill.

Review 12:Best mattress I've slept on away from home, beautiful, unique rooms, spa-like bathroom, excellent quality shampoo, soap, and lotion. Accommodating staff and AMAZING view.

Review 13:We wanted to cook your own meals and the only thing was a barbecue grill with a burner it was tough to cook . Needs those burners that sit on the counter tops for cooking

Review 14:I loved this cabin it was so nice and the view was a million dollars

Review 15:The stairs up and down to the Wolf's Den. It was a beautiful staircase but a workout to load and unload car.

Review 16:Loved the location on top the hill overlooking the bay. The craftsmanship was wonderful and tastefully decorated.

Review 17:We liked everything.

Review 18:The underground room was great. It was large, clean, well appointed with a great view. Staff bent over backwards to accommodate. It was well worth the long drive down to Homer. Beautiful view of the bay. Otters and seals swam by and an eagle soared above the beach and then perched in a tree below for a great photo op. Would return here in a heartbeat.

Review 19:From the time we checked in this is an amazing place ! Spectacular views, spotless, warm huge invitingly warm suites , full kitchen and utinsils. The proprietor Jen was welcoming and was ready to accommodate any need we could want . We were celebrating our 27th anniversary and will not hesitate to return . Thank you again for a marvelous stay! Review 47:Nothing. It was great!

Review 48:Incredible view, unique lodging

Review 49:View, quality of cabin, service, space,

Review 50:Can't really think of anything...

Review 51:Place was great! The room fantastic, spacious, quiet and beautiful, with a wonderful view. Staff very helpful and attentive. Location second to none for the sheer beauty of the area. We will be defiantly returning in the future.

Review 52:To get to your room which lies below ground, overlooking a bluff, you have to descend though the ground down via a spiral staircase.Views were incredible. Through the back (front?) doors is a lawn that overlooks an estimated 400 foot bluff. Looking over the water you can see beautiful mountains in the distance. By far the most unique room I've ever rented. Very nice room, large, well designed and very appealing to the eye. immaculately clean and organized. I didn't hear a peep from the next and only other underground room, nor did I really see the other tenants, which was a good thing if you're looking for privacy. Staff was extremely friendly and bent over backwards to help me set up a special room for my date. Overall the best hotel experience I've ever had. I highly recommend it for a romantic couple getaway or even if you're just passing through.
