Review 1：Specifically booked a room with a balcony, which we didn't get until our second night. Hot water not working for about four hours on our second day. No seats on balcony. Lighting levels really poor in both rooms. Hotel looks quite smart but needs some serious updating, not sure why it's rated 3-star. Breakfast quality rather less than average. Only hotel in the 11 we stayed in during our tour that didn't have a hairdryer in the room.

Review 3：Lack of parking, in August anyway. We had to park 500m away on the street. The beach is another 500m from the hotel, despite the name of the hotel 'Praia' - strange. Bathroom definitely needs updating. Breakfast basic but OK.

Review 10：1) No chairs and no table on the balcony.2) Pillows are bad. 3) The lobby/ breakfast area is rented out to some commercial adventure (pyramid scheme?), which attracts HUGE crowds on the ground floor. 4) The breakfast becomes boring very quickly, and the coffee is terrible. 5) The "sea view" that is mentioned on the Booking.com site does not exist: no sea view whatsoever. 6) Most of the staff speak no English.

Review 12：Would have liked a couple of chairs on the balcony, although the view is not wonderful, we did like to sit there to enjoy the sunset! Shower was rather dated, but did the job.

Review 13：Very clean and comfortable hotel, spacious room. Reception staff spoke good English, which is rare in this part of Portugal. Excellent coffee shop/bakery next door, well worth a visit for a meal, coffee or cakes. Very inexpensive.

Review 14：Shower cubicle was a bit broken and couldn't be made watertight, so bathroom floor got very wet and dangerous whenever we had a shower.
