Review 1：Only the fact that i had a bit hard time to communicate with the staff because they hardly speak any english but it was fine i used google translate to make them understand
Review 2：Everything was very nice it's simple and very graet value for money and very clean.
Review 3：Mattresses were older and had a slight odor, no mattress pads were used on the beds, only sheets.

Review 5：Breakfast is simple Turkish style breakfast. If you would like to have coffee ask in advance. The loud morning prayer from the mosque nearbye may wake you very early in the morning if you are a light sleeper. Wi-fi is stable but may get weaker at night but this is problem in Samsun and may be worse in the more expensive hotels.
Review 6：The people working there are making the small disadvantages of the hotel disaapear. It is very clean, the bathroom of the renovated room was much better. It is good that they show you the room in advance. It is best suited for single bussiness traveller since the rooms are small and it is best for being away most of the day and coming back to the cleanliness and friendliness of the hotel at night. Although there more men staying there it feels safe for a woman. They are very respecting. The two beds in two different rooms I stayed in my two visits were both very comfortable.

Review 9：I stayed at the Grand Desi twice on a recent trip. It is a very well-maintained modern hotel walking distance to the sights in Samsun. Staff was extremely helpful and the owner takes a hands-on role in the operation, which always results in a much better experience for the traveller. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.

Staff very friendly and pleasant and went to great lengths helping me with various local arrangements and making calls for me (since I don't speak Turkish). Great place, I plan to stay again coming back from Armenia!
