Review 1：Blow dryer didn't work and I hate shampoo conditioner in one.

Review 5：It was like staying in a motel from the 80's, Upkeep was not very good. many broken or worn fixtures. Have not seen a tube TV in a motel for many years now. Furniture was very used and has been around for many years. No real ammenities in the room. Did not make it to breakfast, it was over before 10am, our fault. The cost was not worth what we recieved. Would I stay there again, not if I could help it.

Review 18：The bed was actually comfortable, I had the King room. I slept well. The guy at the front counter was honest. I forgot my cell phone and cord in the room after checkout. I had to return and get them when I noticed it gone. It was in the office saved for me. No problems.

Staff kept asking if we used the room, as if we did something wrong!Explained to him several times he gave us the key, we walked in and saw other peoples belongings and went back to the office. Review 46：Air conditioner did not work but we were provided a portable one. We had to leave the window open in order to vent the portable unit. It's an older hotel. Rooms need upgrading. Carpet needs to be replaced.

Review 47：Location was great if visiting Knotts Berry Farm or Soak city. The breakfast wasn't great but it's free and it's enough to get the day started. Breakfast consisted of cereal, toast and muffins, orange and apple juice and coffee is also provided. Our stay was still comfortable. This isn't a five star resort so if you are ok with that then it's a good place to stay.

Review 49：Excellent location! one of a handful of places within walking distance of Knotts Berry Farm. Staff was very friendly. A good effort was made to keep the place neat. Our family suite (3 queen in semi private rooms) worked great for 1 adult and 3 teens.

Review 50：Since it was so close we didn't mind paying the $160 a night andthough it was worth it. We were wrong! It was an old hotel that needs alot of work. We checked in at 11pm exhausted and walked in to a puddlein the bathroom from a refrigerator that had been leaking. The sink wasdripping water and would not close all the way. The bathtub stunk likeold mildew and there was a bugger stuck on the shower curtain. I took aquick shower wearing flip flops. We just wanted to sleep and get thehell out of there in the morning.

Review 52：A very surprising hotel. Everything's like it should be. we enjoyed every second. clean, secure, nice staff, nice place. The neighborhood is very nice. We were walking around in the evenings. very nice and safe neigborhood.

Review 53：If you want the AC to be on at night then you are not going to be able to sleep because that thing goes on and off all night so I didn't get a very good night of sleep. Also I tried calling the front desk but the phone didn't work and I was too tired to walk down there. Also bring your own conditioner because they don't supply a real one.

Review 54：It was really close to Knott's berry farm so its only like a 10 minute walk there. They have ice, a pool, and a TV that works.

Review 55：My family and I traveled all the way from Florida only to be plauged by bed bugs which my daughter had a severe allergic reaction to the bites that required an emergency room visit. oh, did I mention a bad attitude from managment. I HIGHLY advise not staying at this motel nor recomending it to even your enemy.

Breakfast could have been better. When we got there at 8:15 am, there was little cereal left, and no coffee (not a coffee drinker, but there were others that were). Not much milk left either. There was no one to ask to refill either.

Review 68：The check-in process was quick and simple. Rate provide on website is rate quoted at check-in. The room was adequate for our needs. King size bed with couch - didn't check if it pulled out as it wasn't needed. Fridge & Microwave in the room was a great surprise. Shower was good, clean and good water pressure. Room overall met our needs for the 2 night stay. Check out was again quick and easy. Needed to ask for a printed accounting of charges - had already received credit card printout.

When I reviewed pet friendly hotels this one came up and seemed that it would work for all of us just to find out that my dogs could not go after all. I would not stay here again just because I'm not able to take my big dogs.

Review 79：The hotel is walking distance to Knott's Berry Farm. We were able to come and go without any problem since the hotel was just across the street. We were able to go to the hotel to change into warm clothes during the evening when it got cold.

Review 80：Everything!! Dirty, nasty place. Worms, yes worms were found in the bed and bed bugs, and to top it off used condoms. Does anyone clean these rooms? Let me also mentioned that there was an extension cord used to plug in the TV because of course the outlet didn't work. Horrible place. I will NEVER stay here again.

Review 83：We were here for the death of my sister and then her funeral. We had several family members come in and they were able to accommodate for us and 2 other families. Had to change from a single room to a double because our son came a few days later. The king bed was comfortable. The queens, not so much.

Review 85：The location was the best, literally right across from the street of Knotts Berry Farm. When we want to rest up from the park, it was just a short walk back to the hotel. You also save money from parking at Knotts. The front desk was very nice.

Review 86：The pool was dirty.the kids pool had spiders in it that when thrown out of the pool would crawl away. our air conditioner kept shorting out so we didn't have air conditioning the whole night and it was at least 80 degrees outside that night.

Review 90：Bathroom Facilities not as clean as we would have liked. No real hot water for showers, small refrigerator inside a small cabinet which was placed in front of the door that would lead to the adjoining room was not very cold. Carpenter tape was placed around the door of the adjoining room which looked pretty silly. Television wasn't working properly, which management did try to work on. Remote did not work, period. Basket to coffee maker in room broken. And, way too much drama with the people on either side of our room. Kept us awake for most of the night with arguing and slamming doors. One intoxicated occupant kept leaving in her car and almost hit my vehicle twice. Her coming and going took place six times in one evening. Management wasn't very sympathetic.

Review 91：We arrived at midnight and the clerk asked us if we wanted to see the room first. Nice surprise to be asked before assigning a room, and during our initial sight, looked okay.

Review 92：Our originally room had the door wide opened and no screen on the window, it seemed that someone had been staying there without staff knowing because after checking in and going to our room and shortly returned back to the office the worker seemed somewhat shocked.

Review 104：Not sure if people live there but there was a group that was so obnoxious and LOUD! I mean the room above us stomped and jumped all night... Kept us all up till 4am. By the time we could finally fall asleep, we had to prepare to check out. Management should have offered us a later check out. I would never stay there again. Shame because the room was perfect value for the price. Management needs to control the noise because we weren't the only ones to complain.

Review 105：The room was great for a family... 1bedroom with one bed and door. Then 2 more beds. Perfect for family.

Review 106：While wifi was supposedly available, I never could get connected. The motel wasn't full so while they technically can advertise wifi, I think whatever system they have can only connect 3 users at a time... Breakfast was included but it was the worst/weakest breakfast offerings I'd ever had. Corn Flakes, Fruit Loops, white sliced bread, banana blueberry muffins (the kind with a cup of oil in each) and the weakest coffee ever. However if one is creative, one can bring their own cereal or bagels and use the motel bowls/utensils etc....which is what we did. The room was never cleaned. We had a dog so I understand cleaning staff may not want to enter. It would have been nice to have a few clean towels and coffee replacements hanging on our door handle to replenish supplies.

Review 107：We were 2 adults and 3 children and a dog staying in a family room that had 3 queen-sized beds; the price, including dog fee and tax, for 3 nts was $400. The room had a mini-fridge, a microwave, ironing board and iron and coffee-maker (albeit broken) and breakfast was included. There's a pool. It's across the street from Knott's Berry so one can just walk there, which would be nice. Our destination was Blizzcon and Disneyland so we had a 5 mile drive to those destinations.

Review 111：This was a last minute thing for this hotel for knotts scary farm and was worried going with teenage girls but it worked out...The man at the front desk was very friendly. Originally our room was towards the corner I didn't feel comfortable so I ask if I could change rooms he had no problem doing so. For the price you pay not bad and location it was worth it.I would stay there again for sure!!!!Just remember your not living there just a place to sleep

Review 112：The wifi wasn't working the 3 days we were there. I had to defrost the refrigerator, but it worked afterward. No hairdryer or ironing facilities as promised. The pictures show a microwave in the room--none in ours. The staff uses the laundry facilities during the day, so plan to share 1 working washer/dryer with other guests at night if you want to wash. We left a day early (more than 24 hr notice). Booking.com said there was no penalty and were great. The motel tacked on a charge anyway. The previous guests must have had small children. There were lots of cookie parts and popcycle sticks under the bed.

Review 117：The Colony Inn was very accommodating to our travel needs. Our family of 6 was very comfortable in the family suite. The beds were extremely comfortable, we slept great! It was quiet and the location was good, an easy walj to Knotts Berry Farm and about 30 minutes to the beach. We would definitley stay here again.

Review 118：The wifi didn't work. We were able to hear the people outside running and playing until pretty late at night. We could here the people next door to us very well through the walls. The continental breakfast was very sparse.

The room was not cleaned properly when we entered there were black marks on the walls and hair in the sink and on the back of toilet. And there was a towel on the rack that was not clean it had something smeared all down it. I brought it up to the office person and all he said was that he would have it cleaned again ughhh will never stay there again we also could not get the wifi to work in the room we had to walk up by the office to use it and the bathroom by the pool was absolutely disgusting
