Review 1：Kitchen equipment was very basic Pillows were very uncomfortable: one was not enough two was too many and they were like rocks

Review 3：Great locationand views but an ok staff approac maybe they were just having a bad day but that and with rooms outdated would have us look elsewhers to stay whilst in yamba.

Review 12：My Wife had a serious operation about a year ago and her recovery has been long and at times difficult. Happily she has made good progress in recent weeks and this was our first attempt to change our routine for a few days holiday. I wanted comfortable and private accommodation in a quiet location where she could be entertained by the outlook without excessive walking or driving. The Moby Dick Motel gave us everything I wanted. The gardens were simple and delightful, and the passing parade of boats, and birds kept us entertained. We made a couple of short shopping trips into Yamba but the motel was our perfect base.

Review 14：Such a relaxing place to stay. The room was clean and had all the necessities we needed for a great stay. The staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to help us. The pelicans out the front are a total delight.

Review 21：The on site manager in reception was neither friendly nor helpful. After we had checked out I took some photos and then asked if there was a toilet I could use, and the on site manager told me the nearest toilets were in the caravan park. I was quite disgusted with that, considering we had stayed there for three nights and had only just checked out. The shower in the family room was dreadful. It was really hard to regulate, had poor water flow and very little hot water. It was quite dangerous for young children, as there would be a burst of hot water and then the shower would go cold again. Washing machines were available but you had to pay extra to use them. Considering the price of accommodation, I thought they would have been complimentary, as they are in a lot of apartments we stayed at.

Review 26：I loved the big rooms, fullsize fridge, sofa's comfortable, the outdoor furniture. But the view fabulous. We were in the disabled suite near reception and just walk out of our room down to the lawn and water. Loved watching the Pelicans come into roost with the seagulls each night, and the Lorikeets coming in at night too. We saw one dolphin in the water near the jetty. We are coming back to Yamba and will be booking here again for a much longer stay. Very relaxing in Yamba.
Review 27：Stayed for three nights, great location, very quite with no road noise, from our room you could walk straight out onto the grass area too the table & chairs, bbq area. From our room to the waters edge would be 30-40 metres. I would certainly stay there again
Review 28：Superb motel that feels more like a high end hotel. Terrific water views, gigantic rooms, well equipped kitchenette, good location and helpful staff. Fresh Yamba prawns and Fish n chips 2 minutes stroll away! Don't miss out on booking this one.

Review 30：The rooms are so big and the views across the water were delightful. Drinks on the balcony were great at the end of the day. Great to see children playing or fishing along the river bank.
Review 31：The mattress (which the receptionist advised us upon our complaint was almost new) was really hard; in fact we both felt that we would have been just as comfortable if we had slept on the floor. We may not stay there again because of the bed.

Review 36：If you are like me, you tend to avoid anywhere with the title 'Motel', but Moby Dick had been recommended to me by two relatives. What an amazing location! A view overlooking the river with a large grass area to sit next to it,BBQ etc. Highly recommended.

Review 48：The downside is that there was no table for 4 in the unit so either you eat at the commune table outside or you eat on the 2 small table in the unit. No big deal but wouldn't have like that if we were there for a few days as for us it is important to sit all together during meal time or play game on a rainy day.

Shower was good, good pressure, good heat. The commune B.B.Q. space and the private Warf with Pelican was great! The table and chairs outside the unit for a coffee while admiring the view. Big room with plenty of space.
