Reviews for Motel Del Rogue

Review 1:Television didn't have the best quality picture.

Review 2:Cosy place with everything you need. Had the weather been sunnier, it would have been nice to sit on the porch out back. The book shelves in front of the rooms was a nice touch.

Review 3:We loved the location right on on the Rogue River and we loved the rustic cabins which were so so charming. Plus, for those travelers who were in to more modern rooms - this place had some updated areas as well - but for me, give me charm over bland any day of the week.

Review 4:We noticed that there was less soundproofing between floors because the buildings were older but we were not disturbed by our neighbours.

Review 5:Quiet location with river views with easy access to local restaurants.

Review 6:Riverfront balcony with comfy chairs and table Unique and delightful furnishings/decor Comfortable bed and pillows Locally roasted organic coffee to brew - delicious Friendly owner Price Dish soap and sponge provided Clean!

Review 7:We absolutely loved staying at the Motel Del Rogue! The room was clean, cute, and super comfortable, it was just perfect. It is an older motel with older furnishings that depict a very homey, cabin feel. Personally I liked it a million times better than any Vegas 5 star hotel I've stayed in. We were allowed to have our dog, which as most people with pets know, it's very difficult to find places that accept a dog that is 50 pounds. Kevin the owner was fantastic and so personable. I can't wait to get back up to Oregon and stay there again. After our long backpacking trip, the Motel Del Rogue was the perfect place to recoup for our next adventure. We even decided to extend our stay another night because we loved the room and hospitality so much, and Kevin was so kind to work it out so we wouldn't have to move to another room.

Review 8:Loved the casual, comfortable vibe (just like 30 years ago when I stayed here). Beautiful close up view of the Rogue River - geese circling overhead - comfy vintage chairs and tables to use as well. My dog loved the view also and there was plenty of room to walk her around the property as well as going right down to the river. Love having NO TELEPHONE! Quiet, helpful employees.

Review 9:Wonderful place! pretty, peaceful, and quiet. Great service. We only stayed one night on our way to Crater Lake, but would absolutely stay there again and longer next time we are in the area.

Review 10:The friendliness of the staff. Very helpful in giving me directons to the property and recommendations for a place to eat. Quiet location and the sounds of the river area superb.

Review 11:Maintenance items that would require basic mechanical abilities are ignored. They need a TRUE handyman / "Jack of all trades".

Review 12:Nice owners

Review 13:The rooms overlook the water edged on both sides by a thicket of trees. Sitting out on the porch with this view is heavenly, as is listening to the rush of the water and the rustling of the trees as you fall asleep. The owners are lovely and full of suggestions to make your stay in the area interesting.

Review 14:Very cozy, delightful. Owners are very helpful and friendly. For example, after a long river rafting trip, I was exhausted. They graciously allowed me a late checkout time so I could catch up on my sleep. Very kind and helpful.

Review 15:This little hideaway was awesome. It was a cabin nestled in the trees on the banks of the Rogue River. Owner is great, looks after his guests like they are his "guests". Has Kitchenette and all for the price of a budget motel...Fantastic find, would like to spend a month here.

Review 16:You should be so lucky to stay here. The folks who run it are great, sweet, and just the right amount of chatty. There's a wonderful front lawn on which to play horseshoes or badminton, or lounge on your back porch and watch the river go by. Of course, this isn't 5-star accommodation...the rooms are quirky and older...but everything is clean and well-kept.

Review 17:The appliances in the kitchen were disgusting, probably clean but so old they had to go! It is a very old place but with a little kitchen work it would be a nice rustic experience with a view

Review 18:The owners were wonderful as was their concern for our comfort. The view was beautiful.

Review 19:Nothing really.

Review 20:We loved this motel. The owners were wonderful and I really enjoyed the balcony on the river. The front lawn area was beautiful and it was fun to walk along the river. It was an easy drive into Grants Pass and the staff had recommended some good restaurants. They made good driving suggestions too. Rustic and quaint.

Review 21:Loved the setting and homey feel of this place. Staff called us by name and greeted us in the parking lot. If your looking for a modern sterile dime a dozen hotel...this isn't that place. This motel has the charm of a Southern Oregon motel from an era that is fading fast. It's one of those gems that you talk about for years.

Review 22:The owners and staff were wonderful and very accommodating. We stayed there for a month and hated to leave. The river view was beautiful and relaxing.

Review 23:Alot of bugs outside but its spring and next to a river so I guess that's expected. Bed was Kinda hard.

Review 24:Staff was very friendly and helpful. We got the king spa room and was very pleased with the size and set up of the tub. It was a very nice romantic getaway!!

Review 25:Nothing. Keep up the good work.

Review 26:Beautifully restored cabins with great river views. Comfortable and inviting. I could easily stay a month and feel more restored than any mega resort could do.

Review 27:Location on River, lovely. Innkeeper very friendly and helpful.

Review 28:Lipstick on a pig.

Review 29:Nothing

Review 30:Kevin is wonderful. Called us when we were late arriving to make sure all was ok, met us outside and welcomed us, like visiting family.

Review 31:Super helpful staff. Older but very clean and tidy

Review 32:Stray cats

Review 33:Quite, Private and being close to the river and a great restaurant not far (River Edge)

Review 34:Great location and staff. Nice area to relax by the river. The room had a "cabin"-like feel to it.

Review 35:A bug issue but that comes with country living

Review 36:Lovely setting and friendly owners

Review 37:Nice relaxing riverside cottage. Had good sized kitchen and bathroom. Great value for a charming cottage!

Review 39:Bed was a bit hard and could have used an extra blanket.

Review 40:It was very peaceful by the river. The deck was wonderful.

Review 41:Yard was piled high with trash, room run-down and dirty. Badly needed update. Bathroom filthy, had spiders.

Review 43:This rustic gorgeous location was simply perfect. We loved our time here.

Review 44:The owner was wonderful and the location couldn't be better.

Review 45:No air conditioning, although fans worked well on very warm day.

Review 46:Located right along Rogue River

Review 47:Great view of river from new porch

Review 48:Bathroom needs work. Mold and mildew.

Review 49:Loved the staff and location. Excellent service. Very happy.

Review 50:Quant, beautiful, with the potential to really enjoy the grounds except it rained right after we got settled in. Would come back. : )

Review 51:We loved the decor, which was rustic but clean and pleasant. The owners are super friendly.

Review 52:Older - nothing fancy... But clean enough

Review 53:Awesome location on the banks of the Rogue River. Excellent owners!

Review 54:motel del Rogue is a like a park. Shady, with the rooms facing the river, so it feels private.

Review 55:Extremely friendly, personable staff (owners), beautiful setting on the Rogue River. A great place to unwind and relax.

Review 56:the hosts are wonderful, the garden and landscaping, the garden, the garden, the garden. don't want to leave. darn
