Reviews for Slussen Bed and Breakfast

Review 1:No reception, checkin is done via code being sent by text message. However, if checkin is as of 3pm, you'd expect a text message at 3pm. We hadn't received it yet when we got there at 5.30pm. No stress we thought, we'll just phone for it, but of course the owner didn't pick up her phone and phoned back only after 1 hour. If it wasn't for another guest revealing his code and by this guessing or code, we would have had to wait more than an hour before we could get in. Also, it is a small and cramped place and if the weather is hot, it is a sauna, especially in the upstairs bedroom. Airco was hard to figure out and did only work a little or not.

Review 2:The stairs in my cottage were a bit steep but the other cottages were different.

Review 3:The location was excellent for me as I didn't want to be in the centre with all the parking problems that can bring. The cottages are about a mile outside the centre located near the university - it takes five minutes to drive to the station - there is a bus from University 100m away. The cottages have a shred garden with tables and chairs alongside the river. You can sit there in the evening and watch the small boats pass through the locks - very nice! The area is very quiet considering you are only a mile from the centre. The town itself is well worth visiting with a great castle in the centre of town. Theses are holiday cottages that you can rent for a day or longer. There is no breakfast included but the facilities for DIY catering are all there. Bedding is provided but you will have to 'stuff' the duvet yourself!

Review 4:Poor cleaning is an issue. We have found a lot of black hairs/fur all over living room (on the dinning table also) left from previous guests. I guess it was dog's fur, but I am not an expert. The water temperature regulator in the shower does not work well and gives too warm water.

Review 5:Perfect location. You feel like a countryside, despite it is only 10 minutes of relaxed walk to the city center. The studio is spacious and have almost everything one might need. Anna and Göran were pretty nice and helpful people.

Review 6:there was no internet, they should try and fix it, if not guest that travel that dont have internet with them, there stay will be boring like mine was too boring i couldnt do any thing on net that was too bad and in the booking it was stated that there is internet.

Review 7:every time accept poor internet

Review 8:The WiFi signal was too weak to be usable (tried it on several devices) The steep stairs to the bedroom were a bit of a challenge for us (we were travelling with a 2-year-old). There's a major road next to the B&B

Review 9:Large room (more like a small apartment) offering great comfort. Our room had an integrated Sauna, which was definitely a perk. No problems parking.

Review 10:Very small room - just be aware; shower drained so slow water had to be turned off mid-way through, and knobs/shower head holder were broken; wi-fi barely worked (had to go out in the courtyard to get email); very basic accommodation.

Review 11:Comfortable bed; clean and cozy; nice kitchenette (but we did not use); owner was kind; ideally located to see Wadköping, Stadsparken, Örebro Slott, St. Nykolai Kyrka, and downtown Örebro in one lovely 2-mile walk; bus #9 runs every half hour.

Review 12:Had to make own bed, breakfast limited in choice & quantity. Very steep stair case/ladder to loft sleeping area. Bathroom on ground floor.

Review 13:Position close to town centre was good.

Review 14:Steep stairs were a bit unexpected, as was the low ceiling over the bed. The bathroom looked a little unfinished, and there was water all over the floor when the shower was used.

Review 15:Very cute setup and a beautiful walk along the river leads you right to downtown and a lovely view of the castle. In the other direction is a great walk around the lake. Owners are friendly and helpful.

Review 16:Location of the property near the river and lake. Tasteful renovation with comfortable "at home" feel of living space. Friendliness and warmth of welcome by owners. Ease of travel into town.

Review 17:Low ceiling in the bedroom :)

Review 18:Nice location--lovely walk along the canal into town through historic areas.

Review 19:Every thing

Review 20:every thing was perfect

Review 21:Small.

Review 22:It is close to all kinds of great activities. I would stay there anytime I am in the area.

Review 23:Very small cramped room. Smelly bathroom.

Review 24:Wi fi was hopeless you couldn't stay connected longer then 3seconds, studio room was not clean, rubbish still in the room from previous occupants, very little privacy

Review 25:Location location location easy walk to a entertaining city

Review 26:The room did not face the courtyard, was on the back of the house.

Review 27:The family was nice and hospitable, ready to fix any probem. The room small but comfortable.

Review 28:The owners could not have been more friendly or helpful. There is a relaxing feel to Slussen, which mirrors the gentle flow of the river at the end of the garden.

Review 29:it was quite warm in the loft for sleeping since the stairs are steep maybe a note that there is some steep stairs

Review 30:it was a wonderful space--open and airy and close to the main sections of orebro

Review 31:The strenght of the Wifi is not that good. Sometimes Wifi falls out. But I don't know if it is due to the provider or the installation.

Review 32:The rooms/bungalows are very nicely decorated. The owners are very friendly and helpful. It is nicely located to go for walking in Orebro or the nearby lake and wadkoping. Not that far from the city by car or bus.

Review 33:Too small. Most things were broken or did not work. Communication. On major road if you had kids.

Review 34:Location. Friendly when available.

Review 35:Actually nothing

Review 36:Close to city, quiet, nice family who owns it.
