Reviews for Sweet Breeze Inn Grants Pass
Review 1:Loved it all..
Review 2:Loved the old time homey feel of this hotel. Great management , awesome room. Great decor with such a pleasant homey touch. We recommend this hotel to everybody !!!!
Review 3:The place was not really clean. Also it was rather noisy. Facilities are very old. The toilet was clogged!!! We had to ask a help in the middle of the night (we checked in late) since we were not able to use the toilet! Awful..
Review 4:The continental breakfast was pretty basic: rolls, bagels, and coffee. I don't like coffee, and there was nothing else to drink (no tea or juice).
Review 5:It was refreshing to have a nicely decorated room. It was very clean and comfortable.
Review 6:Continental breakfast was awful. Consisted of a few plain Walmart like bagels and a couple of prepackaged danish pastries. Vending machine was empty of all drinks.
Review 7:Very comfortable king bed. Average/typical room. Very nice large flat screen TV. WiFi.
Review 8:Front clerk took awhile to come upfront to the outside night window so we could check in and it was about 35 degrees. He seemed like we were ruining his night by having a late check in. Not nice at all. Wanted to have breakfast before work but when I went to the front the door was locked and nobody was around. Keep in mind it was almost 8am.
Review 9:The Room was clean which is always good. The bed was comfortable. It was nice to be in a hotel with decent TVs.
Review 10:The included breakfast consisted of those individually wrapped pastries and I think they also had bagels. No in-room coffee makers, but they had coffee in the lobby. The owner said that he might've been able to take a few bucks off the price of my room if I hadn't used a service like this one to book the room. So, you might want to try and call them directly. YMMV, as they say.
Review 11:It's a basic, nice, clean and decent "mom and pop" hotel run by a family. Nothing fancy or extravagant here, but after a LONG day on the road, was happy to have a nice comfortable room on the ground floor. And if you WANT a ground floor room, be sure to ask for one when making your reservation.
Review 12:We decided to walk and find a place to eat, we went the wrong way first, but found some places, back toward I-5. Should have asked someone first. Thanx again
Review 13:Loved the comfort of the room, So clean and attractive, I especially liked the lovely quilt on the bed. And we felt the price was right for us. We traveled on to Crescent City for our Great Granddaughters 4th. Birthday. It was a really nice trip. Thanx
Review 14:Not a new hotel. I had a personal conflict, and had to "eat" one night's stay because of cancellation policy.
Review 15:Room was clean and bed comfortable. Room had both refrigerator and microwave.
Review 16:No breakfast or wifi info
Review 17:Nice Clean room with a country decor feel. Was not given wifi password and website said no breakfast available Not enough parking for tenants but was pretty good for price and svailability
Review 18:Motel is a little dated, but it appears they are in the midst of some upgrades.
Review 19:Excellent value motel. Cute décor and comfortable bed and chairs. A/C was great and having an in room fridge and microwave were convenient
Review 20:There was no breakfast! There was coffee and small breakfast rolls that we couldn't eat because there was mold on the top of each roll.#2 Air conditioner wasn't very cold, even on high.#3 A few ants in bathroom.
Review 21:Very nice room.I loved the cozy feeling of our room, with the quilt on the bed, colorful towels in large bathroom, quiet room.
Review 22:The mattress was extremely hard.
Review 23:It was very quiet. We could not hear any of the other guests, or noise from the parking lot, even when we knew activity was happening.
Review 24:Towels were old, mismatched and worn. Room had miniblinds that let light in so good luck sleeping late. Need blackout curtains
Review 25:Clean and reasonably priced, pet friendly good location.
Review 26:The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The room was charming, with a homey feel. Although breakfast was not provided, there is an excellent bakery a block away.
Review 27:As you approach the location, their sign looks really worn and that surprised me a bit. Location is on main thoroughfare, which I was trying to avoid; however, noise levels were ok. I don't like the use of so much "scent" as part of the cleaning process and felt it was too strong. There was no coffee pot in room so I had to go to lobby for coffee. Decided to do this and get breakfast; however, there virtually was nothing left but bread for toast. I didn't look in the refrigerator and afterward thought they may have put things in there. It was about 8:30 am when I headed to lobby.
Review 28:The staff was ready and when I said I wanted a downstairs room, they accommodated. It was the handicap access room; which was fine. They offer a smoking area so all rooms are smoke-free... this is great.
Review 29:The WiFi was a little slower than I expected. Breakfast was minimal.
Review 30:The room was clean, and appeared to have been recently refurnished. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Review 31:It smelled. The bathroom was from the 80's. The bath mat was moldy. The sheet had a cigarette hole. The breakfast was dry plain bagels. The hair dryer was broken. Never again.
Review 32:It was a quiet room - but that's partly because few people were there (on Memorial Day weekend).
Review 33:Bed seemed to be smaller than a queen and was not comfortable. Continental breakfast was a joke (not funny). No coffee in room. Breakfast area had no tables or room for more than 2 people.
Review 34:Not too much. Refrigerator and microwave in room were nice. Room away from 6th street was quiet.
Review 35:No drapes on windows so outside light came streaming in; stiff towels and old furnishings. Carpet was dirty; whole establishment needs an upgrade. No ice machine so owner gave me ice but it tasted strange.
Review 36:Location and mini fridge.
Review 37:Nice friendly staff, very clean rooms with a homely feel. Nicely decorated and comfortable. Close to everything. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone.
Review 38:The bed was a little hard this time around and our neighbors were very annoying.
Review 39:I like that wifi and the microwave and fridge are included in the total amount.
Review 40:No bathtub, but very good shower.
Review 41:Charming, nostalgic, big thick towels, pretty decor, nice sheets, comfortable bed, fine wifi, even decent coffee in the morning.
Review 42:Rugs and bedspread needed freshening, breakfast was a toaster with different kinds of toast and pre-packaged pastries - coffee was satisfactory, no juice. Lock on outside door was hard to get key to work in and WiFi was sporadic, popping in and out!!!
Review 43:I liked the location and that it was locally owned and staffed. Had microwave and a small fridge. The two leather chairs and table plus a desk were nice and convenient!!!
Review 44:The manager was very pushy. I think he meant well, but his attitude on policies were aggressive. After checking in, he followed me out to my car. Knocked on my window and leaned close to the car to remind me of the no smoking policy and how important it was to follow. The whole interaction with the manager, checking in and out, left me feeling very uncomfortable like if I had an issue or a question and needed to ask him, I would feel like I might be putting him out. On top of that, the room was outdated: bedding, furniture, carpet, bathroom. I wouldn't want to sleep anywhere near the comforter. There was a three-ringed binder on the table that greeted you at the door, again, reminding you of their policies and procedures.
Review 45:The inn was located in a fairly nice location. Gas stations and breakfast stops nearby for morning convenience. Wifi and cable could be the only great selling points
Review 46:The bed was very hard and we couldn't stop itching when on the bed. The bathtub wouldn't drain and the sink plugged up. The size of the toilet was for small, short children. English wasn't the national tongue. There was no continental breakfast, even though we signed up for it and the advertising says 'free continental breakfast!' Will not go there again.
Review 47:Breakfast was toast and jam and coffee only. They should provide some protein or fruit like peanut utter or cream cheese spreads, apples or oranges. Also the bathtub plug didn't seal well.
Review 48:Clean, comfortable spacious room and bed.
Review 49:Most everything, it was clean, very nice towels and bed linen. The quilt had a very nice affect along with the rest of the room decore. It was a cold night and the heater worked great. A very nice affect away from the high-rise new hotels
Review 50:Good place for an good nights sleep. Convenient location. Restaurants, banks, fast food and bakeries all in walking distance. Entry and exit from freeways fast and easy. Everyone treated us well.
Review 51:On a busy street, however the street noise died down later in the evening.
Review 52:Enjoyed the coziness of the room, it did not feel like your typical motel room. Very clean. Good value
Review 53:Windows were covered only with blinds no curtains for reducing light, sound and privacy. Desk clerk didn't know where anything was in town, not even a grocery store. Bkfst was not worth the trouble.
Review 54:Located a convienent ways away from freeway and it's noise. Price I paid was worth the negatives. I expected little and was more pleased than not.
Review 55:The TV was kinda womb womp
Review 56:She was very accommodating as I arrived very late in the night and left the middle of the night a few days later. Felt like I was staying in the spare bedroom at Gramma's house, the decor had that feel.
Review 57:The "cozy" room was dated decor. It was clean but shabby with dim lighting. I did not enjoy spending extra time in the room.
Review 58:It was reasonably priced for a quick weekend trip. I didn't expect to spend much time at the hotel so a comfortable night's sleep was the focus. The room was clean and quiet.
Review 59:a/c,heat controls kind of confusing. No instructions. Continental breakfast was bagels, rolls,or english muffins and coffee, a true european continental breakfast. Remodeled older hotel, but they forgot about the drains, very slow.
Review 60:Very clean quiet
Review 61:The room was large, immaculate, and the staff were lovely. This is a family owned and run motel, and they take pride in providing a nice room. Highly recommended!
Review 62:it was 99 degrees when I check into the room at 7:30, it took till 3:30 in the morning for the AC to shut off, it would have been better had the room been ready considering there were only about 5 guests and I made the reservation 2 weeks before, the owner on check in was nasty, just nasty
Review 63:Continental Breakfast was minimal. Tiny tiny closet space, but we made it work.
Review 64:Nice quaint rooms. Great value. Rooms were quiet. Good place to stay for a few days in the Rogue Valley. We'll stay here again.
Review 65:A/C falling out of wall. Room was too warm. Slept with windows open.
Review 66:Close to freeway but not so close there was freeway noise. Easy to get on and off. Had fridge and microwave. Staff was very nice. Big tv with lots of channels. Comfortable beds. Close to food.
Review 67:Continental breakfast could use more options.
Review 68:Although the hotel is older it is full of charm. The staff is super friendly. It feels like a home more then a hotel.
Review 69:The bed was too firm and the air conditioner was difficult to reach to work the dials. The continintal breakfast was minimal and sparse.
Review 70:Price and location.
Review 71:The room aircon was very noisy. The in room refrigerator was very noisy. (as light sleepers both items affected us) Coffee always at reception but no coffee maker in room. Breakfast was "minimal".
Review 72:Rooms were clean and comfortable, and unlike most motels had individual "quirky" decoration.
Review 73:Hard bed. Bright light right outside my window, Breakfast very limited, no juice or milk, nothing whole wheat, no fruit. Noisy 1:00 AM arrival right outside my window and upstairs from me. Lots of dust behind things.
Review 74:On my route, easy access to freeway and good price
Review 75:Reasonably priced, clean, large room, easy parking.
Review 76:The room was not worth the money I paid.
Review 77:The beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean
Review 78:No fresh fruit or juice on the breakfast menu.
Review 79:The low room rate.
Review 80:No alarm clock/radio. No bags for dirty laundry. No coffee maker.
Review 81:Good value for one night stay
Review 82:N/A
Review 83:Very homey feeling and excellent location
Review 84:An alarm clock would have been nice A coffee mug to heat water in the microwave
Review 85:Spacious room Extremely clean Quiet Easy check in / check out
Review 86:Carrying everything upstairs.
Review 87:We loved that we could open our windows and get fresh air. Beds were cozy and the room felt like home.
Review 88:The staff seemed a little put out by our presence, there was blood on our coverlet, and Grant's Pass is kind of blah.
Review 89:Cheap
Review 90:Owners attidude

Review 92:Nothing
Review 93:Clean & quite.
Review 94:I was charged extra because my son is 17 years old. Too tired to argue.
Review 95:Nicely decorated room. Quiet. Staff helpful. A very good value for the money.
Review 96:A lot of deodorizer to cover up smoke.
Review 97:Nice quilt. Good for one night stay.
Review 98:Unstable internet connection
Review 99:The room was very much like the one pictured online. It had a nice sitting area and a large comfortable room.
Review 100:Close to Interstate 5, lots of places to eat close to Inn.
Review 101:Staff barely said two words. Blank stare when we said (3 times) we were checking in. Language barrier?
Review 102:Clean and spacious place. Convenient location.
Review 103:Clean, remodeled
Review 104:Poor wi-fi Dated decor
Review 105:Clean, homey; like being in Grandma's guest room. Colored soft towels
Review 106:Shabby,no tissues, no extra tp,needs interior painted, only some rooms available,no extra towels, won't be staying there again.
Review 107:Quiet,
Review 108:Bed was stiff and not very comfortable. The closet was so slim!
Review 109:Staff was ready for us when we came in late. Friendly service.
Review 110:Breakfast was lame
Review 111:Quaint room Laminate flooring - so much better than carpet!

Review 117:Bed a little hard
Review 118:Location, cleanliness,price
