Set on lush tropical grounds, this ecolodge offers cottage accommodations and a lagoon-style pool framed by palm shrubs. The Wildebees is part of the UNESCO-protected Greater iSimangaliso Wetlands Park.
Wildebees Ecolodge features an outdoor restaurant with a charming bonfire. Guests can savor local and international cuisine under the stars, while enjoying the sounds of the African bush.
The lodge also offers an outdoor lounge bar, and a barbecue area to prepare a traditional South African braai (BBQ). Before heading out to explore the region, guests can request a packed lunch.
The thatched accommodations of the Ecolodge Wildebees are surrounded by large trees and flowering shrubs. It is decorated in rustic style, with wooden furniture and snow-white mosquito nets.

Review 1：The self catering facilties-" Shared kitchen" could be improved- they are very basic -with some improvisation we could cope. Visitors are advised to bring some basic equipment along - paring knive, cutlery, bowls, drinking glasses etc

Review 2：The chalet was spacious and comfortable. and very clean- the beds comfortable. The setting very authentically African. Very restful.

Review 3：No bathroom door. Our place was on top of puplic kitchen and noice came straight in and there are no windows.

Review 4：Ok... the pool was dirty... the concept of the Lodge is great but a lot more could be done. If one takes a walk around the perimeter there's a lot of run down buildings and the grounds are unkempt ,full of litter and shappy ... bit srrange for and Ecolodge.

Review 5：I wasnt to happy with the bathroom, no curtains in the bathroom to cover the windows,anybody can just look into the bathroom while you are having a shower. Also when people had a bonfire all the smoke came into our room.Also as a real rugby fanatic the TV didnt work.

Review 78：Our trip was very relaxing. We stayed for 4 days. The location is inviting and charming. There are dinner and breakfast menus. or you can use outside cooking facilities. The lodge staff, in particular, Princess, went out of their way to ensure we had a pleasant stay. They were friendly and concerned about our satisfaction. A GREAT holiday!
