Review 1：Phone didn't work, tv remote missing,told staff and they gave us a remote but all it did was change channels; had to turn on tv manually but had no idea how to adjust volume, hated the bathroom, no vanity, no place for clothes, heat was not plugged in, no dresser, stained sheets, blanket was too short for bed, heat smelled like cow manure, had to ask for extra towels, called front desk 3 times and just got recordings, Worst hotel ever!

Review 5：Not happy to see an ant on the nightstand and stained bedsheets! The kicker was, we had made the reservation after specifically confirming that there was a treadmill in the fitness room. Well unbeknownst to us, when my son went to use it , the treadmill was not functioning. I called the front desk and he basically said, so sorry my friend. My son had to lose two pounds for a wrestling tournament the next morning at Millersville University. Fortunately, we found a 24 hour fitness place nearby and he lost the weight. Better than that, he won the tournament!

Review 7：Person at front desk was indifferent. She seemed to be put out when I asked for a outside easy room, even though there seemed to be plenty of empty ones.

Review 8：Room was ok. Red Roofs are trying to make the rooms better, and more practical. This one seemed to be about halfway through upgrades. Outlet strips are needed in the room for the electronics.

Review 11：The room was dirty and smelled. I would not even shower there and we had to go home that morning. I dont even want to go into what we found, it was disgusting. The manager was rude and sarcastic. We were charged for a room that was canceled. We change the reservation from one weekend to the next and was double charged. BEWARE this has happened to other people also. Absolutely ruined our weekend in Lancaster. I will always read reviews before not after my stay.

Review 14：There was no phone in the room,one light in the bedroom,no iron,one straight back chair. A dog barked constantly until the owner arrived at 9 0'clock.

Review 15：My bathroom had mice droppings and we heard mice in the wall overnight. My wife was appauld. I had two rooms and my daughter and mother inlaw was in the other room was poor. Only received reimbursement credit for one room. I would like both.

Review 16：We checked in opened door to room and someone else was already in that room. Very awkward. We were given another smaller room. We were charged for both rooms and it took a week to get a refund. The same thing happen to another couple that night. No one even offered a apology.

Review 27：Calling the front desk was a PITA. It would ring for literally 5 min straight. Non English speaking desk help made it frustrating with requests. Our tub was chipped in many places and made it appear to be dirty.

Review 28：Fridge, microwave, iron, flat screen tv and hairdryer in room. Clean beds and ample room for 2 people and 1 dog. Location was walking distance to many restaurants.

Review 29：The sheets were not clean (stained). I originally thought the bathtub had not been cleaned and someone had shaved in the tub. It turned out that it was full of small chips on the tile, giving it a very uninviting appearance. The coffee machine in the room dripped watery coffee. The room was noisy for sleeping (thin walls and a noisy air conditioner as well. There was no soft chair in the room nor small table at which to sit for TV and coffee. The elevator carpeting needed vacuuming for the entire 2 days we were there.

Review 31：We only stayed one night at this hotel, and could well have stayed for more. Our visit was during a particularly warm and humid period and the outdoor pool was especially welcome. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast selection included do-it-yourself waffle batter/maker.

Review 50：The room had dirty towels from the previous guests when we checked in. Coffee pot and microwave very dirty. Bedding was full of grit. Dirty kotex on deck of pool. Room didn't get cleaned enter 3 days we were there. Air conditioner wouldn't shut off. Keys wouldn't work. Over all experience was very poor.

Review 57：My children and I swam in the pool and were nauseated by the unfamiliar odor of the pool. It smelled not of chlorine, rather it smelled of stagnance. We left within 10 minutes, and noticed the skimmer was completely covered in brown green algae and was left uncovered. I spoke to the young man at guest services, pointed out the issue on Friday afternoon. He said he would have someone come to evaluate the pool. By Sunday the issue was still unresolved. The bathtub was peeling, lacked a stopper, and had black mold around the handicap access handle. I will NEVER return with my family, and we frequent Lancaster every six weeks for the weekend to visit family.

Review 58：WiFi did not work. Roll away bed not comfortable for teen. Room too small for additional bed. Given 2 handicapped rooms which left no room for cosmetics, etc. Bathroom floor was dirty. Ants everywhere outside, so we were afraid to leave any containers or suitcases on floor. Most of the staff other than front desk did not speak English. We had three people in our room and every day we had to ask for additional towels & washcloths,

I walked in with my 4 yr old son to the breakfast bar because he wanted an apple (or 2) for the road and a kitchen staff member came out and made us uncomfortable-like we were stealing! The rooms - old furniture, but seemed clean. The beds were like a rock. Glad it was only one night.

Review 105：The fact that we could all be together. I had 20 guests with me. The breakfast room was nice and the breakfast itself was adequate. However we had to wait awhile for the eggs to get done.

Review 106：I did not arrive until after midnight but the night manager was at the front desk when I arrived. He checked me in promptly, helped me with my WiFi questions and let me know I could call him with any further requests. I did call later to arrange a wake up call. It was a most pleasant stay.
