Review 1：This family owned business was so kind & helpful,they made our long journey traveling from San Diego to Seattle a very pleasant experience. We truly felt blessed to have had the pleasure of staying with such a wonderful family & great business owner who care for their clients.

Review 6：We stayed here for a quick night's sleep on a road trip, and this place was FAR superior to the nearby Travelodge where we'd stayed a week before.
Review 7：The location was perfect for walking to the cruise. We spent little time at the room, so the price was good. It was nice to have a microwave and mini refrigerator.
Review 8：I could not leave my window open overnight (my preferred way to sleep)because the screen frame was bent, and therefore unsecure in the windowtrack. The continental breakfast consisted only of coffee, apples andbananas, bagels and English muffins with nothing to spread on them.

Review 10：Mgr never in office. Came dressed in wife beater and pj bottoms. Room key didn't work in the morning after I left to put some things in car at 8:10 am. Office had note not to ring bell because of sleeping baby. I rang it anyway. Booking said free breakfast included. All that was here was in room coffee and some soda from a machine.

Review 19：The staff were very helpful- making sure we were connected to the wi-fi, even calling to make sure it was working. We had the family room with 3 queen beds which after 4 days in the car and smaller hotels, felt good to stretch out.The room was clean and the kids enjoyed it.

Review 66：only a half of roll of toilet paper ran out the second day... the bed was so unbelievably outdated an uncomfortable I'm still suffering back pain from it three days later.. whatever you do do not go next door to the China hut and eat their food is terrible... they're sweet and sour chicken was all brown meat had big chunks of gristle and fat in it.. I asked them about it and they told me that I should have told them that I wanted only white meat and where am i from..even though I did not eat any of the food and it just set on the table I still had to pay for it... I took 20 people in there that day you would think that they would have taken care of my order.. but no I still have to pay for something that was disgusting when you get sweet and sour chicken at a Chinese restaurant it should be white meat... she asked me where you from I'm from the USA where white meat is eaten every day...

Review 68：The door had a large metal plate on it for security but there were gaps all around the opening that let light in at night. Only one night stand light worked. Carpet was very dirty and stained, old needs replacing. We had two rooms - one room had no night stand lights working as well as other lights in room. There is no accessible power plug for charging phone or ipad/laptop. The ones in washroom area do not work for these items. You need to unplug the clock or table lamp to charge anything. This is an older motel that are doing their best to keep things clean but maintenance is an issue. Breakfast was minimal, bagel,english muffin, or bagged mini danish, coffee. I would not recommend this motel unless budget was the key motive.
Review 69：Location and ease to find from I5. Price was good for a room with king size bed. Room included a mini fridge and microwave. Free wifi. We stayed here as the price was right for a one night stay for two rooms. Booked via the internet.

Staff gave a lame excuse that an out of towner might accept but Iknow it was just laziness. The smoke had been clear for days, in Augustthere is no excuse for a dirty pool. The staff was short incommunication almost rude but cheerful. It's surely family run theymay benefit from hiring help. At $90 a night I wish I would have justgone with the higher end hotel on the river for $130.

Review 91：When we arrived, the room was very very hot (90s probably). The AC eventually cooled it down but we had to try to sleep in the heat while the AC was catching up. It should have been on in anticipation of our confirmed arrival. Also, some paint peeling in the bathroom, no hair dryer, and the stairs were a bit far from where we had to park. The wifi worked only briefly for us.

The family room was large, the beds clean and comfortable, and there were plenty of towels, etc. for our group to use. Location was perfect for our family reunion and the many events we attended. The price for the room was very affordable, especially for the prime Summer season. Well pleased with The Sunset Inn and will book again!

Kind of rude. The a/c unit was very loud so I kept it offand slept in a warm room to avoid the noise. Wi-fi went down fairlyoften (but it's free, so..). The most annoying thing was that theshower did not work - flat-out. You could only take a bath, which is notreally feasible for anyone who's been driving all day and is tallerthan average.

The bed was comfortable for the price.The flat-screen tv was an unexpected bonus. Wi-fi was included.
