Reviews for Economy Inn Green Bay
Review 1:I dropped the remote behind the bed and when my husband went to grab it we found woman's underwear.
Review 2:The location was great & staff were friendly.
Review 3:They were trying to charge me an extra $25 more then what booking.com charged me.
Review 4:I didn't even stay at the inn. I was charged more then what booking.com charged me.
Review 5:The room was dark, dank and the walls were painted cement block. The tub was re-glazed and in need of another coat. The TV had a poor signal and picture was in and out. The NL playoffs were unavailable.
Review 6:It was located within walking distance (1.1 miles) of Lambeau Field
Review 7:Obvious efforts have been made to upgrade room (carpet, towels, paint). I was scared to stay after reading some of the reviews, but overall great value and location for attending Packers game.
Review 8:Wreaked of smoke, stains on the bed, dilapidated facilities. Only good place to stay for packers game and you just need a place to stay it works
Review 9:Nice staff, perfect location for Packers game only a mile away
Review 10:I didn't like how there was no bolt on the door, it made me feel unsafe.
Review 11:I loved the comfort of the bed and pillows. The lady at the front desk was very kind and was nice enough not to charge me the $25 no-smoking fee. The wi-fi was free and ran five bars, unlike the other cheap hotels in the area that either charge for wi-fi or have extremely slow internet service.
Review 12:had a getto feel to it. very explicit rules posted..no loitering NO VISITORS you will be evicted, ect. Reception behind glass window.
Review 13:close to the stadium
Review 14:We got there a half hour before our check in time and they still hadn't done our room. So then they rushed thru it? Cause we found a cheeto on the dresser behind the TV that was out so you could see the cheeto plain as day.
Review 15:It was close to where we needed to be. Liked that there was a smoking area and you got to mingle with the other guests.
Review 16:Called in before arrival, was assured a room would be ready. Checked in, walked in to our room and found the bed as the previous occupant had left it, unmade, and the trash can full.
Review 17:Liked the proximity to Lambeau Field.
Review 18:The room and the hallway had a musky odor and the bathroom was just yucky.Bought room spray and bleach to clean .
Review 19:The location to the bowling was good
Review 20:The bed was very uncomfortable and leaning towards the head board. The room looked like a prison cell. The electrical was a mess, had to move the refrigerator cord to get it to work, had to move the TV cord to get that to work right. There was no TV list to tell you what channels were what. There was no alarm clock/radio. The lighting was very dull.
Review 21:It was a low price.
Review 22:Someone tried getting into our room at 4 am! Bird loose in the hallway. Smelled bad in halls and towel bar fell right out of wall.
Review 23:Bed was comfortable
Review 24:no coffee pot in the room and the vending machines were empty or broken. also no ice machine.
Review 25:convenient to sightseeing and nice staff. basic room for basic needs.
Review 26:I tried to use my aarp card for a discount but because I didn't book through the hotel, which I didn't even realize after i did an internet search for one with availability, they couldn't let me
Review 27:the location was within walking distance of lambeau field. the price was in range of what we wanted to spend. easy check in and they had our room ready early.
Review 28:The floors were so thin, and tub doesn't drain. While showering, wereceived call from manager that we caused flood and leak to their bottomroom. Then we're informed that we will be held accountable toflooding, when we tried to refund due to service, we were told that wecan go but they're not willing to work on refund.
Review 29:Ceiling falling in, wires hanging off the walls, shower that would not turn on completely, the fact that we returned to the room and found the DOOR WIDE OPEN one time, and the key left in the door another. The homeless guy sleeping under the stairs in the foyer also wasn't too appealing. No clean towels, no service, really, of any kind.
Review 30:This hotel was close to Lambeau Field.
Review 31:- Musty, smoky smell in room (bring a candle or air freshener of some sort) - Small bathroom - Bathtub wouldn't drain but staff fixed in less than 5 minutes after calling front desk - WiFi connection speed is slow
Review 32:- Friendly staff - Proximity to Lambeau Field (about a 25 minute walk) - Price was decent compared to other hotels in the area - Quiet (cinder block walls are great)
Review 33:Room had a funny smell. Room was clean enough but my bed had a couple of hairs on the sheets.
Review 34:Great they had other facilities such as coffee maker and fridge, really handy to have. And free WiFi too.
Review 35:I had to pay for 2 nights even though I was only staying for one. Then on top of it, the price was ridiculous. In the end I paid $350 for one night for a place that had painted cement block walls. If you're going to a Packers game, prepare to pay through the nose!
Review 36:Bad lighting, did not get housekeeping to our room till after 3pm and only after I called and was told that they were sent to another motel to clean. I guess that motel was more important then the one I was staying in. We settled for clean towels and made the bed our self's.
Review 37:Close to the stadium
Review 38:The facility is poorly maintained. Mold on the mini fridge; towels that should be used as rags. But I get it. They get to charge exorbitant prices because of the football game & I hope I don't have to stay there again. It was like being in jail.
Review 39:Proximity to Lambeau Field.
Review 40:For the price they charged they should have had a breakfast. When we stayed at all the other motels around the area in the past, they had cont. breakfast and the price of the rooms were a lot less ($80-$120) vs $161.
Review 41:was fairly close to Lambeau Field.
Review 42:Location. My daughter did not feel safe. We stayed one night but paid for two. Did not receive refund for second night that we did not stay there.
Review 43:Close to Lambeau Field and cheap price.
Review 44:it was just not very nice, not updated. it was clean enough, though. also, on the booking sheet it said to ask about AAA discounts, but the clerk at the desk had no idea how to do that, so we lost out on that possible savings.
Review 45:The price was good and matched the adequate but frugal facilities.
Review 46:Room was dirty, had leftover ketchup from previous guests on the nightstand. Shower was cold, no hot water.
Review 47:Location was great for the stadium
Review 48:The staff is very rude. When asked to speak to manager on phone, the woman hung up on me.
Review 49:How close it is to Lambeau Field.
Review 50:No restaurants within walking distance.
Review 51:It was clean with basic ammenities. Bed was comfortable.
Review 52:Being close to lambeau field
Review 53:The hotel was clean and the front desk help was nice.
Review 54:Clean. Friendly staff. Basic needs well served.
Review 55:Everything else. Nasty
Review 56:Close to Lambeau Field
Review 57:no plug next to bed, made charging phone and using it at the same time hard

Review 59:Big room and the halls way is clean we'll come back again next year thank you.
Review 60:More towels
Review 61:Location
Review 62:No breakfast at all and not very clean room.
Review 63:Big room and very cheap.
Review 64:Could use an exhaust fan in the bath and a simple continental breakfast.
Review 65:Great location and price.
Review 66:Run down, dated, needs repairs, WAY over priced on Packer game days.
Review 67:Fridge in room, fairly clean, good location
Review 68:Bathroom walls and the room light position is not safe.no microwave to warm food.
Review 69:The bed and tv.
Review 70:was confortable and they made enjoy our stay !
Review 71:Low price, good value, clean
Review 72:convinent and cost
Review 73:No breakfast
Review 74:The price
Review 75:staff not that nice
Review 76:not bad for the prices
Review 77:very rude nosey owners. Room was absolutely filthy. Entire building has foul odor
Review 78:Rude owners. Dirty smelly rooms
Review 79:Everything
Review 80:The room and the corridor smelled. The lock on the door was not really comforting.
Review 81:Good location for a Packers game
Review 82:Clean, safe, no frills but a bargain with courteous staff and a great location.
Review 83:facilities were spartan.
Review 84:location--walkable to Lambeau
Review 85:not the Hilton but great for the price
Review 86:great value great shower good location
Review 87:My son got a tooth ache and we had to leave town early. Was not able to stay at the hotel.
Review 88:Pre game.
Review 89:Rooms had some foul smells. may be bacause of lot of humidity inside. Ac was louder in room.
Review 90:price was reasonable.
Review 91:That there was not a regular chair in the room. Only place to sit was on the bed
Review 92:slow internet
Review 93:good value for the price
Review 94:poor beds, dead air in rooms, people smoking outside by doors
Review 95:price, room was clean
Review 96:That they didn't have a coffee machine or an ice machine.
Review 97:The hotel was a walking distance to the football field of the green bay packers
Review 98:the raustrant was not open and all the had was coffee in the morning.
Review 99:the price was cheep
Review 100:Wifi wasn't working and no exhaust fan in bathroom. I would still go back again because of the price.
Review 101:Clean room loved having a refrigerator in the room. I would stay again.
Review 102:Too soft pillows. I like them firm or more of them. Should have a table or night stand on both side of bed!!
Review 103:reasonable price. nice firm bed. large space.
Review 104:The overall feel made me feel like it might not be the safest place to stay. There are two keys to get in and the staff respond behind plexiglass and a locked door.
Review 105:The bed was comfortable. It is in walking distance for those who are used to exercise.
Review 106:It is just a run down hotel that if you just plan to sleep then you are good to go. I did not like the fact that I paid 230 for two nights at a place like this, but I understand that it was a Sunday during a Packers game, which is why we came.
Review 107:The main front guy was nice. It was not dirty so to speak, it was just a small concrete room. Wifi was good.
Review 108:All the amenities of a jail cell without the convenience of being ableto smoke. The tv was nice. And I didn’t get a rash from anything. Thehomeless guys living there seemed friendly. If someone bangs on a doorthey are all over it so security is tight. If you lose your key you caneasily pick the lock with a credit card. The vending machine workedproperly and there was ample parking. Towels were available upon requestand they didn’t invade your privacy by cleaning the room. The ceilingtiles provided plenty of hiding spots for valuables. And the mysteryvent running through the room provided us with a good 30 minutes ofdiscussion and debate.
Review 109:Hairballs in the shower. Shower was just a mist big old tv asebestostiles in ceiling no lobby no amenities at all all for $125 a night
Review 110:Location to lambeau field wonderful. Fairly clean. Bed was prettycomfortable very QUIET-nice
Review 111:I did not care for the room. It was very old and outdated. Also kind ofgross. I guess I knew it would be because I only paid $100 for a room ona game day.
Review 112:I like how close it was to lambeau statium
Review 113:Old musty cigarette smokey smell. No lobby, just a tiny space with a glassed-in receptionist, with a lot of prohibitions printed on the glass.
Review 114:No bed bugs. Could open the windows.
Review 115:Smelt of stale cigarettes. Felt uneasy the whole time. Room dank and dark. Carpet needed burning. Sheets didn't fit the bed. Near the road.
Review 116:Cheap. It was about £25 a night.
Review 117:I reserved my room 3 months in advance and never got a confirmation number or email. I forgot which hotel in Green Bay I booked, so I had to call several hotels that morning. The first time I called Economy Inn they told me I didn't have a reservation. So I booked another hotel outside of the city, everything in GB was booked. Then I got a call back from Economy Inn saying they found my paperwork and I did have a room that night. Luckily, I was still able to get a refund from the other hotel I had booked as a replacement. Also, we had problems with our neighbor, who claimed to clean the rooms. He was very strange and told us to be quiet after the game, when we really weren't being loud in our room. He made us very uncomfortable, if he would have bothered us again we would have called the police.
Review 118:Good location.
Review 119:We stayed there because we were going to the Packer Game and wanted somewhere close..well in the description it said it was less than a mile away when in fact it was 1.5 miles away. Also we set up to tailgate before the game (2 chairs and a grill) and the owner came out and told us we couldnt sit there and hang out because it was loitering. Even though we paid to stay there we couldnt hangout and tailgate. Guess its dissapointing that you come up to enjoy the game and your hotel doesn't let you. We will definetely not be coming back here again.
Review 120:This was the worst motel we've ever stayed at. Almost slept in the car instead of laying in a bed with sheets that looked stained and slept in. The teeny tiny bathroom had no exhaust fan and I found what I hoped were human hairs on the floor. NEVER AGAIN!
Review 121:Easy to get to. Close to Lambeau Field.
Review 122:need larger refrigerator in room. And would have loved a continental breakfast but price was extremely economical
Review 123:The staff was more than accommodating. The room was very clean
Review 124:I could not get the water to come on in the shower/tub. The fluorescent light fixture above the sink, though slow coming on the first evening; did not come on at all the next morning. The lighting was insufficient because of that. I could not get internet connection.
Review 125:The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet.
Review 126:I still do not know where the restaurant that was listed on the marqueeis. I tried to ask the manager but with his limited English and my totallack of his language, I never found out.
Review 127:Because of the motel's size all of the rooms are easily accessiblefrom the parking lot.
Review 128:The place felt like a dump, the housekeeping was good and did the best they can but structurely it was horrid. Paint in the bathroom had beads down the wall from unprofessional job done, tape still on the ceiling lamp in bathroom, no fan in bathroom, uncovered or unfilled screw holes in the walls, bathroom had a sign that said "shower only, don't draw bath" professionally made for something that they could've fixed, weird old water heater that had jerry rigged pumps that was disconnected but still there, the light for the room was probably powered by what powered the old pumps for the old water heater because the light was directly above it (also by the window) and not in the center of the room like most intend, some ceiling tiles seem to look like they were falling apart, the tap water was disgusting and the sink area was definitely not designed professionally due to the shock hazard from the light above it, the bed frame my wife and I stubbed our toes multiple times on which isn't terrible because a lot of bed frames do that but this one seemed difficult to be cautious about because it'd catch you off guard, just noticed a hole in the wall under the sink lamp, curtain and it's fixture was extremely cheap and I dare not touch it in case it may break or fall, most the outlets plugs won't stay in since they just keep falling out, and finally the thing that bothered me the most is for security they give you 1 set of 2 keys 1 to get in the building and 2 to get in your room. The lock to get in the room can easily be surpassed with a credit card and it feels like a fragile doorknob to begin with.Even though the place said no visitors, we had a friend come with us to pick some stuff up to visit their room and hopefully that won't give us grief.
Review 129:I liked the fact it was cheapest hotelout there and it allowed me to stay despite having difficult finances.
Review 130:The reason we stayed at this hotel was it advised it was walking distance to the Resch Center. Granted, it was a mile away but, who wants to walk a mile in the dark back to a hotel that is not in a desirable location? The check in counter was in a locked room that you had to ring into. The room was brick walls painted poorly. The bathroom was small and I did not take a shower based off how the tub looked. They painted in the bathroom and left the paint tape on the light fixture. Not a comfortable room to be in. Probably the worse hotel I have ever stayed in.
Review 131:Did not care for this hotel at all. The staff was friendly enough but, not an inviting atmosphere at all. You have to knock at a door to check in and out.
