Review 1：Hard to complain when the price was so good. It was average on comfort and it was clean, but not exceptionally clean. Better than 99% of motels.

Review 7：Somewhat dark and small. Could have used more lighting. Other suggestions: 2 pillows each, not just one. A safety chain lock on the inside as it is a first floor room near the road. It would be easy for a criminal to break in. It smelled of cleaning solution - Nice to know it was clean, but kind of an unpleasant odor. Website misleading in that it indicated all units had a kitchenette so we had counted on that, but got by with what was there.

Review 9：Thermostat didn't work. Kept turning down. Finally turned off at 0345. Got little sleep. Bed was double, not queen. No restaurant near enough to walk but close to town.

Review 14：Well, the outside is a little scary looking, because it looks a little run down, but inside the rooms was great! Owner was sometimes hard to track down, but overall great experience.

Review 15：I loved that they are putting their renovating dollars where they count, on the inside! Rooms had new carpet, furniture and bedding. Rooms were also very clean and had everything that you needed including free WIFI!

Review 20：It is very outdated. Old pictures, carpet and wooden walls make it feel haunted. The porch on the main building is falling off, the driveway is unpaved, and you feel as if you are staying at a very scary bed and breakfast.

Review 21：I enjoyed how flexible the owner was. He was very accommodating and did everything he could to make our trip the best it could be. The location was quiet and I felt as if I didn't have to worry about bothering anyone else at the motel.

Review 26：The cottage was a little on the expensive side.

Review 27：The cottage was big enough for a family of four, including two teenagers. The bedroom had separate beds which was convenient for the kids. The rooms were cleaned every day. The kitchen was well stocked so we could easily prepare a meal.

Review 28：We were not informed when booking that the lake was/would be drained so it was not the view we were expecting. There was no one at the office at check-in and there was no bell to ring, we had to call the phone # on the website. The jacuzzi tub in our bathroom did not work.
