Review 1：If I went again I wouldn't choose half board. There were only a few half board dinner choices and the full restaurant menu is much better. The menu is so cheap that it actually doesn't work out that you save much money by going half board.

Review 2：Staff super friendly and so happy to help us, our room was really clean, the pool is lovely and every meal we had was amazing. The wifi works all around the hotel even on the beach. The bathroom had a huge bath which is quite hard to come by on our budget! Location is so peaceful it was exactly what we needed!

Review 5：Hotel je na samote, uprostred niceho. Nejblizsi obchod je minimalne 2 km. Do mesta pul hodiny autem, cimz nemate na vyber a musite se stravovat pouze na hotelu./ hotel is in middle of nowhere, closest shop is 2km away. To city is takes like 30 mins by car. Big disadvantage u have to eat only on hotel because is nothing around.

Review 7：There was a complete and very obvious lack of management at the hotel. There was evidence of completely untrained staff with NO English and zero costumer service skills. These poor staff were so lacking in management that there were too many bad service things to mention but below are a few: The Litter Bin on beach never emptied Dreadful Breakfast buffet with empty food containers and cracked delph. Photo of breakfast plate with massive chunk out if it. Not even napkins in the tables Rusty broken Bikes unsafe and unusable despite bikes being advertised in the brochure No DVD library as stated in brochures The Red flag was out on the beach for the duration of our ten day stay although the tide was perfect and calm. There were no umbrellas placed on the patio or beach although there were four umbrellas thrown around the back of the bar All aspects of the above negative stuff was a clear indication of the untrained staff and lack of management. All costs nett of a 10% service charge and vat which adds significantly to costs when eating at the hotel. I would wonder if these staff are receiving the 10 percent services charges collected, they certainly don't appear to have incentive to give good service. With the exception of reception staff there was absolutely NO evidence of trained staff or good customer service.

Review 15：For starters the room had a horrendous stench of mould and the staff were less than interested to be told this. We didn't check in our room until later on in the day so planned to quickly drop our bags in the room and head out for dinner at the restaurant on site. The smell of the room and bedding was so bad I decided to try and clean the room the best I could before going out but without proper cleaning products I didn't really suceed! So after enduring what we could stomach at their restaurant (with equally poor cleanliness and surrounded by scrounging stray dogs) we decided to venture to the local family mart to buy some products to properly clean our room. We asked for directions from reception and she informed us of the route to take by foot (there is nothing else for miles around the hotel anyway). After a few minutes of walking down the pitch black back roads we realised that walking there wasn't the safest option so turned back. After informing the receptionist that we didn't feel safe walking there (and that we were only going for cleaning products) she simply shrugged off the matter and handed us an air freshener! Poor service! Poor cleanliness! Would not recommend to anyone!!

Review 18：Friendly staff that catered for our every need. Very child friendly. We had a early check in and a late check out at no extra cost. The food at the resort was excellent. Every meal we had was 10/10. The location is very quiet which is just the way we wanted it.

Review 19：Random dogs walking around. They were friendly, but still what if the person was scared of dogs it's not ideal. Plus they come up to your dinner table too. No available iron for people to use.

Review 21：the hotel is quite far away from any local amenities such as shops and bars, so renting a scooter would be a good idea if you wish to get out and about. These can be rented for a 24 hour period from reception with no fuss.

Review 23：The bathroom was worn out. The edges were mouldy, the shower curtain was stained and just looked unsanitary. The lighting in the bathroom was really poor. The beach was a big letdown, it was scattered with litter and it was always ebb. no chance of a swim out at sea. i hated the number of stray dogs that were roaming the facilities and especially during breakfast. The management should finally do something arghhhh!!! it was very difficult communicating with reception, call it language barrier but their open and friendly attitude totally compensated it.

Review 24：We had a pool access room which was really great; out of pjs direct in bikini. The room was big and airy. i liked that there was variety at breakfast buffet but they could serve up more fruits. it was just pineapple and melons.

Review 26：We came on our honeymoon. We were extremely disappointed with the hotel. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere and the shuttle service provided is extremely expensive. We rented a scooter from the hotel that was unbalanced and sounded as if it needed work (the exhaust was loose too). This scooter was rented to us at twice the price of a scooter rental down the road that had brand new scooters (which we rented after the broken one). However, we had an accident on the broken scooter so were hotel bound for a few days. In these days we had to ASK for the sheets to be changed. The cleaners banged on the door every morning at 10am but didn't clean the room properly. The bathroom wasn't cleaned once in the 8 days we were there. The restaurant was overpriced and food was ok. Cocktail bar had about 40 wasps surrounding it. No lifeguard at the pool. We cut our stay short from 13 nights to 8. We would have cut it shorter had we not been injured. When we complained about the cleaning the cleaners entered our room with attitude and shouted at us not to complain. Our sheets weren't changed once throughout our stay without us having to ask in the evening!!!! And they were obviously dirty due to us being wounded! Horrible hotel. Don't stay here!!! Oh and there are loads of stray dogs that howl at night and sit on your towels and chairs outside your room leaving their hairs and fleas everywhere. And they beg for food. Hotel staff do nothing about it. The "clean" towels we were given were meant to be clean were stained. Don't stay here. Not a 4 star hotel at all. More like 2 star.

Review 33：It's like a ghost town! No staff at all! Had to wait 45 minutes for 2 cocktails, I mean it's not hard to make two cocktails is it. Then when the waiter finally made the drinks he brought them over and fell, which we had to wait another 30 mins for 2 more cocktails. Which he made the wrong ones. Stray dogs all around the resort. Sat eating our good at the outdoor restaurant and a stray do just sat next to us scrounging for food. Had to wave and shout the waiter to get the dog away as he was at the other end off the resort talking to the 2 members off staff. Service is awful. Takes too long to get drinks and food, and in which the staff don't understand any English at all - only the reception staff. It's not a 4* clearly a 1* pushing 2* Got ripped off on the taxi to our next hotel. 1200 way too expensive! Although it clearly states that the price was for 3 not 2 people. We know this because the people we met checking out changed hotels and we saw them out and hey said they only got charge 800baht. We was meant to stay for 3 nights and only stayed one because it is nothing like it says online.

We were there 8 days and got fresh bath towels twice and sheets changed once. - took three days after asking to get beach towels because we left them by the pool the first day thinking we would get fresh ones each day - 40 minutes from chewang and 20 minutes from lamai (about $50 to chewang each way) - staff were that friendly or helpful

Review 36：- rooms were quiet and comfortable - 2 pools. One has sun all day and one has shade in the arvo. Good when your staying somewhere for s long time - the beach access was nice and clean.

Review 39：This is the best value for money resort we could find around. It's located away from party area but if you are looking to get away from crowd it's the best option you can get. Big swimming pool and access to the beach makes this place even better. Modern rooms cleaned every day made were just and addition to really good overall score of the place. At the end of leave we have extended our stay for 3 nights more.

Review 40：Little bit too far from anything. Half hour to lamai, almost an hour to chaweng. Shuttle service was a good price but taxi was too much.500 baht ($20 each way) to lamai.

The resort is very clean, the 2 pools are phantastic, it is very quiet...specially at night to relax, the restaurant serves very good thai and international food, the beach is wonderful...you can rent a tailboat to go for snorkeling at the 2 islands in front of....go to the restaurant there....it looks not desined ;-) but its food is phantastic...we did it during a small rainy shower - romantically...rent at the hotel a motorbike (250 bath/day) and visit the whole island, then you will stay longer at Centra Coconut Beach Resort! Thank you so much - we`ll come again...

Review 108：How expensive Samui is to Bangkok! No such thing as a taxi-metre, willstandard try and charge you 400baht however far your journey. Luckily wefound a friendly random landscaper who carried us to and from the ferryin the back of his truck. Look out for songthews when you get off theferry for cheaper travel to Chaweng and Lamai.

Review 109：Staff were friendly and attentive. We booked the pool access room whichwas lovely, could wake up in the morning and slide into the pool. If youare looking at the pool from the reception/hotel entrance, we stayedin a room on the left hand side - gets the afternoon sun which wepreferred! Food was nice. The beach on the hotel is small, somewhere torelax for an hour or so rather than the whole day. Walk 10 mins out ofthe hotel and you can hire a motorbike for 24hours for 200baht, TalingNgam is very quite - great for relaxing as nothing near by. Motorbiketakes about 25mins to get to Lamai (nicer beach than Chaweng) where youwill find some bars and restaurants and nightlife. 450Baht for boat andbus transfer to Krabi.

Love the beach, outlook to the islands and the pool areas. we stayed in a pool access room. Review 118：Staff not always very friendly, but a couple of lovely staff on reception. Resort food was not great and very far from other restaurants, fine if you have your own transport. Beach side pool was closed during my stay and spa was some times closed too. The pool bar was not in use and looks as though it never has been in use. Sun loungers on the beach are quite old and weather worn, still comfortable, but not nice looking. Patio areas of the rooms are all very open and over look each other which is not very private, but it is a small resort so not not too many people around at one time.

Review 119：Remote, peaceful and quiet resort in beautiful untouched part of the island. No busy tourist areas around. Small resort. Comfortable rooms with great long pool running the length of the rooms, so you could literally jump in and out the pool from the door of the room, would definitely recommend a lower level room to make the most of pool access. Very useful free shuttle bus every afternoon to busier parts of the island. Free wifi, although reception was much better outside than in the room! Able to book day tours through the hotel, snorkeling and elephant trekking.
