Review 1：It's past time to replace carpet in the halls and the room. Be nice to have the same tile as in the lobby. The price was too high for the condition of the rooms and halls.

Review 9：The carpet was extremely filthy. We wore our shoes the whole time once I noticed the bottom of my sons feet were dirty after walking barefoot on the floor. Also my oldest son was not able to connect HDMI because the engineer said something was missing and he couldn't find the part.

Review 14：The Riverview Inn is an absolute classic full service hotel. Our 6th floor room afforded a sweeping view of the Cumberland River. The Riverview's downtown location and great dining recommendation from the staff created a perfect stay.

Review 30：The parking lot filled up rather quickly. It was hard to adjust the hot water in the shower (it would be scalding intermittently). There wasn't a pen nor paper anywhere. I had to use the back of the phonebook.

Review 111：Great location just off Main Street and the Public Square - a lot of rooms on the upper floors have pretty nice views of the Cumberland River...so ask for a river view room. Bed was very comfortable. Desk staff was very pleasant / friendly.

Review 112：Walls were a little thin. Could hear other guests. Requested a no smoking room and was placed on the floor with smokers. Could smell smoke as soon as got off the elevator. Went back and changed me to a non smoking room.

Review 114：There seemed to be a need for more front desk staff. When we arrived there was sign that said they would be back shortly. We checked in and went to our room and the air conditioner was broken. We went back down to the front desk and the sign was there again. We had to wait 5 - 10 minutes to be able to ask for another room. The vending machine on our floor was out of order. One of the elevators seemed to be having a problem. The door stayed open a long time before closing and wouldn't close when the close button was pushed.

Review 116：The breakfast, advertised as exceptional, was barely adequate. Packaged cereal requiring hot water was provided, but there was no hot water source. A sign said that an attendant would solve any breakfast-connected problem. An attendant appeared about a minute before we left. The coffee was weak and cool. It is possible to anticipate the vegetarian preference by offering scrambled eggs or omelets without meat mixed in, but the eggs here were mixed with ham. Heat in the room was hard to control. No restaurant in a ten-story hotel.

Review 117：I hated that the shower heads couldn't be adjusted for different heights. I hated paying so much for such a small room. I really felt that it was an inconvenience that they didn't have a snack bar and there was no restaurant inside the hotel. For 7.00 more I could have stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn that has a restaurant, snack bar, and the rooms are spacious.
