Review 1：Didn't like the fact that i was given one price online. Then when I got to the location an additional $15.00 was charge to my card. When not once did they stated I was going to have to pay more then the online price...

Review 4：The room was so unkempt, the internet service was nothing to write home about. The Business Center that was placed online as available in the hotel had been closed for more than a year. The movements of the elevator was so frightening. I had to checked out before my due date to a better accommodation. This does not what a 1 - Star, not to talk of its acclaimed 3-star!

Review 14：Room was dirty not worth 150 more like 95. No sheets no amenities. Cable sucked half assed smoking room. Embarrassing maintenace. No towels. No hangers. It looked run down and mismanaged.

No working vending machines, no irons, filthy bathrooms and lobby. The continental breakfast was in the basement gross and covered with flies. Don't EVER stay here - not worth the money at all. For 10 more dollars you can go to roadway in which is like a dream compared to this place

Review 23：The building is in a location between industrial businesses. You cannot access any stores, groceries, eateries without passing through dangerous zones. Walkinh out from there at nights is out of the question. The clients we observed all were seeking one day to hours of occupation. It was quite clear that the purpose of the hotel is serving prostitutes and Johns. We could not spend a dingle hour there. We left and found another hotel. Not recommended

Review 24：The building was newly painted; and the receptiones was kind.

Review 25：I filled a report as I checked out. I was in room 301, the carpet wasn't the cleanest. The heater made a loud banging noise throughout the night, the bed was incredibly hard and the shower water was either super hot or cold. There was no in between. Although it was located perfectly to where I needed to be, I did not get much sleep and that really affected the enjoyment of being able to relax. Defeated the purpose of the stay.

Review 32：We had one towel, ac not working,no service on the phone ( room 216),no ice bucket...we had for a room change being that we extended our stay..and they changed our room to 208..which is right next to the sqeaky monster elevator..we couldn't sleep all night practically and room 202 were having a major fight..talking about shooting most of the night..it was horrible.

Sat in a lobby for an hour dead tured and freezing then was told Id be charged an additional $120 just to checkin. Then when I went to take a shower the towel provided had huge clumps of someone else's hair inside ofthe folded towel. Very unfavorable experience.

My wife and I had to share a spoon, the guests after us were just out of luck. elevator made noise like a wounded cow all day and night. Loud reception area our room was next to reception area. No bed covers just a cigerette burned sheet. Hotel Advertised snacks but only had empty vending machines were found.

Review 40：Some equipment or facilities need replacement or proper repairs, including the microwave oven, and plumbing system. This was the third time we booked into this hotel. Regretably, the previous standards which informed our second time decision had significantly fallen...very old towels, few sheets, etc..

Review 46：The AC in the was not working. I asked them to fix it, they didn't. The handicap seat in the bathroom was old and falling apart. To turn the tv on, you have to climb on the bed? Towels were dirty and over used. Asked for iron, the Indian man at front desk and the Hispanic looking woman promised to send it to my room but never did. Had to go a meeting with wrinkled clothes. The front desk Indian man needs computer skills. Told me my card had been declined and I had to show him how to use it. I wouldn't put my dog in this hotel! And the so called breakfast is horrible. Their coffee apparently from India tested horribly. I asked if I could get my money back and move to a different hotel; they said I wouldn't be refunded. Had no choice but stay.

Review 48：We asked for towels 10 times and there was only one blanket for 4 people! There were no cleaning in the room for two days out of three. There was no coffee for breakfast in the coffee machine for two days!

Review 49：The place area to walk at night isn't comfortable. It's a non smoking hotel some floors but the smoke bad smell it's to hard on all floors. It's hard to rest with bad smell and the personnel says that they can't do nothing with. The smoke smell saturates all the rooms and hall.

Review 58：I arrived at my check in time. I was expecting a clean room, no bells and whistles. For $243 for one night- I wanted a clean room with clean linens. The room smelled. One of the beds had a questionable hair on it. The pillows smelled sweaty and one had a saliva stain. I called for a fresh set of pillows and was hung up on. I walked down to lobby and was told my room telephone was not working. They sent house keeping to replace the receiver. The bathroom smelled like dog pee and upon inspection I found dog kibble behind the toilet and along the carpet. There was a large hole on one wall, a broken shower curtain rod, a moldy shower curtain,a blood stain on the matress, a rolled pair of underpants under one bed with other debris on the floor. I ran out to get bleach to clean the tub and floor of the bathroom, purchased pillows and blankets to make my stay comfortable. All I got was a "sorry".

Review 61：There were water bugs in the room and they left it there the whole night, no remote for the cable box. Two beds and gave one set of towels. The room wasn't very clean either.

Review 62：The staff is so on point. I needed extra blankets for my kids and before I even got back to my room, I bumped into the staff member heading to my room with the blankets. Also, they are extremely honest. I checked out and thought I had grabbed all of my belongings, I was already in another state and I received a phone call from the lobby informing me that I had left my sneakers!! They actually held them for me in a locker until I got back. First time I have ever been called back for something I left normally they keep it.

Review 74：What I like about the hotel was it was located around a lot of corner stores and resturants. Just a lot of different types of store. So that was good and the subway wasn't far.

Review 75：There was Bullet-Proof Glass between the guests and staff at check in. The neighborhood was one of the worst I have seen in New York. I made the reservation because I mistook the hotel name for a Sheraton hotel. I was willing to pay for the room and leave, but after we arrived, I could not find another hotel with vacancies so we had no choice but to stay.

Review 76：Smelled like Marijuana for the most part of my stay.... several things didn't work properly in the room, hair blower, toilet seat loose, shower bar loose...light bulb not working, t.v. stoped working "Dish".

Review 79：Dirty, cigarette burns everywhere in our "non-smoking room;" filthy carpet; TV not work, and no one would come to look at it; no towels in the room and no one would bring us any. Rotten ceiling panels in the hallway with a broken smoke detector hanging down by the wires; visible mold in the elevator ceiling. The mattress was worn out, both side-to-side and top-to-bottom. The furniture was broken, with missing fabric on the chair and missing laminate on the cheap dresser. We left after the first night, even though we had paid for two nights. The rude manager would not give a refund. Stay away!

Review 81：The staff at the window both had serious attitudes, not friendly at all and it made my husband and I upset. Also, I stated on the reservation that it would be two people staying in the room, we got in there and there was a little bit of toilet paper left, one towel, one hand towel,one wash cloth and no comforter. There were burn marks on the sheets and the refrigerator was dirty also. The lack of friendliness made it even worse. Not worth the money at all.

Review 92：I got this room for me and 2 friends to stay a few hours to sleepbefore going to opening day at Yankee Stadium. I was looking for acheap place and close location to the stadium. I saw that this placewas rated 3 stars on this site but unfortunately didn't read anyreviews. We arrived on Monday April 6th around 1:30am and checked outthe 6th at 9am.First, it's an awful area. It's the best looking building in the area from the outside which isn't saying much at all so don't let that fool you. Free onsite parking was about the best thing this place offered.We walked into the lobby and there was a gentleman standing in there that looked like he may have been on drugs. I was honestly scared to go near him or take my eyes off of him. When I walked up to check-in there was a gentleman behind the glass that didn't even acknowledge I was standing there. He was very unpleasant. He finally checked us in but never told us where to go. We found our room on our own. We were room 401. All the doors on the floor looked like someone had been trying to kick them down at some point. Entire place smelled like marijuana.Was supposed to be a smoke free room. Smoke detector was ripped off the wall, writing on the wall. Sheets and carpet had cigarette burns in them. Had to use my sweatshirt as a pillowcase because none of the pillows had any. Heat didn't work very well but I refused to put the sheets on me so I basically froze to death all night. Bathroom was decently clean at best.Hotel is right off the highway and you can hear every car that drives by. There was some banging noise coming from down the hallway that was on again off again from the minute we got into the room until 8 AM. I can only imagine what that was... Someone was out in the hallway yelling at one point. Someone working at the hotel was cleaning the room next door and talking on a two-way radio very loud at 4:30am.

Review 94：There was the Odor of marijuana everywhere. If you were to use the elevator it might've gotten high off the stench of the marijuana. With children this is not a place to go to.

Review 98：Besides the room was very very small considering I reserved my room 2 weeks in advance. I didn't like that there were no wash rags upon entering the room. There was ashes through out the bathroom. The windows were wide open with no screen window. Closets didn't have no hangers for our coats. Beds didn't have blankets & there was a smoke hole in the curtain. For $173.00 a night, that is unacceptable. When we spoke to guest services they brought some towels and wash rags and blankets which were still dirty and had burnt holes in them

Review 108：A month before the holidays I received a call stating the room was not available. After a lot of diffaculties I was able to gets the room that was reserved. Little did I know the bathroom in the room was not wheel chair accessible. The room was changed again to a smaller room with a much smaller bed on the third night of my guests' stay. In the smaller room the bathroom was in terrible condition. It was an unhealthy condition to be in. It was very stressful and inconvient for my family and my guests.

Review 110：The shower was good with the exception of the shower head.. It is too high and it points all the way to the back wall. Also the towels could be bigger. Otherwise very nice hotel.

Review 111：The customer service was terrible. Te conditions of the building inside and out looked like some "funny business" was going on there. The ELEVATOR was out of service, so i felt bad for those who had to walk flights of stairs with their luggage. The vending machines were completely empty (you know while staying in a hotel, you get hungry)! The lobby and parking lot traffic was sketchy and the hotel room doors were dented from being kicked in. Soo, by the time I got to my room, I was ready to take a shower...the water was cold. I felt like I was in a movie and I was the next victim. I was ready to leave that hotel by the time I walked in the lobby.

The vending machines didnt work, which was upsetting. The furniture in the room definitely needs to be updated. Holes and rips and scratches in all of it. For a nights stay it is definitely acceptable. I wouldn't really book again unless absolutely necessary.

Review 120：Cleanliness, hole in the wall, foam to fill the mice holes, cigs holes in the duvet (even though we booked a non smoking room...), paint on the bathroom floor, door almost broken ( kick marks...).

Review 122：Location is far from what stated in website of within 5 minutes walking. The pathway from subway to hotel is dangerous & dark at night although it's sidewalk of highway. It is not recommended for girls traveller. Facilities not complete, doesn't have guest laundry, no luggage storage, low wifi speed, you can't connect to wifi when you're in room.

Review 124：I was asked entirely too many questions for the purpose of my visit. For example: why am I arriving so late. Where am I coming from..As if I had some bad motive for coming there. It was 5 am in the morning and I being asked 50 questions. The parking was not that great. I had cigarette holes on my sheets, my lamp had no light bulb, one ashtray and the toilet seat lid was entirely to small for the toilet itself. The floor had not been vacuumed trash on the floor.
