Review 1：I needed help to get a room because I was in the hospital in Allentown PA for five days and life my bank card in my semi truck and money too and the hotel people help me buy taking my information down and got the job done. I really didn't know what to say but Thank you for being good people.

I was showering and saw a cockroach crawling up the wall, the shower water didnt drain, the TV screen was fractured so bad you couldnt even watch tv, its like someone punched it and they didnt even care to replace it, the shower curtain and sheets were dirty, the bed spread had burn holes all over it from smoking guests, and the staff was rude and awkward and unwelcoming! Worst place we ever stayed avoid this hotel dont waste your money I would rather sleep in my car.

Review 8：I was not impressed with the hotel at all. It was very deceiving. The hotel is very dirty, smells musky, and has stains all over. We had pee in our sink (you could see and smell it) and the floor was disgusting. There were nasty people hanging around outside in the grass drinking, people playing loud music and leaving their doors open. I'm thankful we didn't have our three year with us on this short trip. There's no way I would have had him in this hotel.

One guy was drinking a full bottle of booze outside our window and another walking around the halls in his boxer shorts. Not terribly classy but it wasn't the Ritz..;-)

Review 16：My daughter was travelling, I had made the reservation using my CC - which she had. I contacted the property to guarantee a late arrival. Was told she could not use my card. Thankfully, she had other means, otherwise she could have been out in the cold. After my conversation with the owner, he promptly reported my card as not being able to be processed to booking.com. He was extremely rude to my daughter. She was not impressed with the room. I would not recommend this property to anyone.

Review 17：blankets had burn holes all through them pool was not running everything was dirty. they could barely speak English even though it says they do they should have a health inspector come and check the place out should be closed down and completely remodeled.

The worst was the carpet: sticky, glazed with dirt, spill puddles. Had to wash our feet every time we stepped on it.

Review 34：I prefer a suite- it's a good bet for a nice room. I'd not stayed at this chain, but gave it a chance, chance the name. I didn't remove my shoes because it was filthy. You could literally see dirt around the bed corners on the bed. The air quality was poor. The blanket and bedspread were stained and going up the stairs was like entering a prison- absilutt filthy. I would have left, but it was midnigy and there weren't other options at that point.

Review 35：The hotel room smelled, I had 50 dollar hold fee for a non smoking room and the room smelled and wasn't non smoking. They even made me wait while the staff argued over where the master key was so they could go sniff the room. The room was dirty,bathroom door broke,computer chair wad filthy and had crumbs,tub had soap scum,curtain rod held up by wire,wall paper was peeling around the floo. It was gross and staff was rude in the morning.

Review 36：The fan unit was making a very loud noise that keeped us up all night. I reported it that night .Again the next night right at 10 pm the noise started again with the fan. Had to turn the unit off and sleep in the cold . I informed the desk again before checking out .

Review 38：This is the closest motel to the local airport and used by many travelers. It used to be a good and solid facility; now there are definite signs of being run down: cleanliness is mediocre, lampshades have tears, there is mold around the bathtub. My main concern was the state of electrical outlets, some of which work, others do not and some are without switch-plates hanging loose in mid air. I would consider the present electrical set up a potential fire hazard. No wi-fi in room and during the inclement winter weather a very frustrating effort to communicate with anyone or anything (had to go to lobby to communicate with airline, etc.) I will not be staying there again.

Review 40：Our feet were black walking across the carpet. The staff went from not real friendly to rude. It wasn't the cute rude, like Fawlty Towers, either. Couldn't park near our room. Everyone was jammed in together with plenty of empty rooms. My son ended up pulling a wad of hair out of the shower drain. I was tempted to give the place a good cleaning. It wasn't horrible, we had a good time. Not sure I'd ever go back, though.

Review 41：It had the basics. Microwave and fridge. 2 beds. It wasn't terrible. Some of the reviews talked about gangs. Never saw that kind of thing. No bed bugs that I saw. It was quiet. Nothing to jump up and down about, but adequate.

Review 48：When I arrived I was greated by large sign stating that the hotel was not responsible for an injury to my person. This seemed an unusual addition to the typical lost or stolen items in parking lots. After unpacking I showered and headed out for about 3hrs. Upon my return I discovered that my key no longer worked so I headed to the front desk. I learned that they had "switched" my room. I was given a key to my new room and the old room and directed to move my things. After taking all of my things to the new room, I opened the door to find it occupied. It was unsettling to know they had so easily given me a key to someone else's room. Back to the front desk I went after dropping my bags at my car. I was told my old room hadn't been assigned so they would return me there. I "slept" with an ironing board propped between the door and the closet wall as I was concerned that someone else might be given a key to my room. I would never recommend the deal regardless of "deal."

Even after I mentioned it to housekeeping the towel was still there. The other towels were stained yellow and looked like they hadn't been washed, just re folded. The hallway smelled terrible! The smell hit you as soon as you entered the hallway. Also on the second floor there was a security door that requires a room key for access. It was propped open by the property!!

Review 79：The room was a non smoking room though it had a horrible stink of smoke, the steps leading upstairs were falling apart and the hall smelled horrible. The ceiling in the room was cracked, mold on the ceiling in the bathroom, the furniture was dusty, and chipped. The Ac unit was old and in order to cool the room it had to be down to 66 degrees. The refrigerator/freezer had ice in it and needed to be defrosted...I would jot recommend the Scottish Inn to anyone.

Review 80：The rooms were not cleaned to my standards and smelt like cigarettes. We requested a non smoking room and were put in a room directly across from smoking rooms. The hallways were full of people smoking. We asked for them to do something and they came in and sprayed an overpowering room spray which gave a few of us headaches. We had to stay out of the rooms for hours to get the smell to go away. We were not given a hairdryer in either room nor were we given enough towels. Each room had only 2. The pillows were so thin I woke up with a stiff neck. We would appreciate a refund.

Review 87：Where to start? We reserved two rooms and the first one we walked in had no tv and smelled like cat urine. They gave us another room and that one wasnt made up from the previous people. Bed not made, used condoms on the floor etc. They sent someone to clean it after arguing that it had been cleaned already. By 8 pm the toilet was overflowing and we were moved into another room. There were no coffee pots in rooms and you werent allowed to take coffee or food from breakfast to eat in room, you had to stay there and eat with the tenants that i could only guess were severe drug addicts. My two 16 yr old daughters couldnt leave the room without me for fear of these guys who made comments the first time they were alone. Do not stay here.

That goes for the staff also--when I asked where the stairs were located, the man at the desk pointed over his shoulder. It took 5 min. of wandering around in that direction to find my dirty room. Review 109：The only good thing was the water pressure in the shower. Other than that it was a huge waste of 97.00. The pool was cloudy and dirty. My husband had to skim it since no staff did. The bed was wobbly and we were waiting for it to fall to the ground. The desk chair you couldn't sit in if you wanted to because it was broken and we also found out that most of the creepy shady people staying there lived there and paid a weekly rate. We saw people snorting drugs in a car next to ours and saw bugs in the sink area outside the bathroom. The bathroom door was so gross and dirty it looked like a mechanic touched the door a hundred times after working on cars all day. I wanted to leave five minutes after we checked in. I have nothing nice to say and wouldn't recommend this pit to anyone! And we found other reputable hotels in the area that were twenty and thirty dollars cheaper. Do your homework and stay somewhere else.

Worst place to stay ...the ceiling had stains on it the walls were filthy. They do not clean the place good enough... if it wasn't a storm I would've slept in my car.. I wouldn't recommend to anyone

Also, when we walked in the room there was this giant hole in the wall and another on the other end of the room. The curtains were held together by thumb tacts and the mini fridge nearly fell out when we opened it! Finally, the toilet clogged as soon as we got there from only going #1 I might add. HOW CONVENIENT OF THEM!
