Review 1：Perfect for a short stay or more than a few days- Kitchenette is perfect! Room is big and VERY CLEAN. It ia located within walking distance to everything.
Review 2：The heating was a problem. We were too warm with heat on and too cold with it off. When on the heater made too much noise. We did not sleep well.

Review 14：when I booked they said on line there was only one vacancy left for that room. When I checked the site later they still had only one left. I had already reserved the last one. When we arrived there were very few units booked. Is this a come on to book?
Review 15：A short walk to downtown Lake Placid. About 2-3 miles from hockey rink. Very clean room. Towels were placed on our motorcycles each morning to wipe down morning dew. Very thoughtful.

Review 18：The only minor issue is the quality of the wifi which, in our room (30), wasn't very strong. We had to go outside to get reception good enough to watch something on the iPad.

Review 28：lacj of breakfast although they did have coffee. Most of the guests were there for the ironman and were up and out by 5:00am yet the owners did not out out coffee earlier. I do a bike race in New Hampshire and stay in a motel where owners put out a full breakfast by 5:00am for the racers! The owners also have a whole host of rules such as no bikes in rooms even though many of us have very very expensive bikes .

Review 30：Very nice manager. When we opened the door, we were pleasantly surprised. Lodge had very updated carpeting, furnishings, and bed linens. Was nice and clean. Grounds were well kept.

Review 35：My buddy and I were travelling on motorcycles.We had one of the smaller rooms, which was perfect for us. The rooms were very nicely renovated, with modern heating/AC, tiled bathroom, flat screen TV. Place was spotless, so clean. I've stayed in many hotels, Hiltons, Fairmonts, and none were as clean as this!!! In the morning, when I checked on our bikes, there were towels on each bike, left by the owner, to wipe off the dew. Awesome!!!
Review 36：The cottage was away from the main property and had no access to the waterfront. It was not clear from the cottage description. We were looking for a place near water, what the main facility was, and were disappointed that the cottage was far away from the lake.

It was just a short distance into town and the owners are absolutely wonderful. Although it rained the whole weekend we still shopped and wandered through town. We actually got engaged at the lodge!! The rainy weekend didn't ruin anything for us!

Review 71：I enjoyed everything from the second I arrived. Being greeted by Iris (who offered coffee in the AM) and directed me to some new restaurants I haven't tried yet. She was so wonderful, making sure I had all the comforts I needed. The rooms were quaint with birch wood accents. The bathroom was impeccably clean (I could even relax in the tub). I will definitely return again for 2015 CanAm Rugby Tournament. I cannot express the sincere contacts here. I highly recommend staying here !
