Reviews for Quinta Do Burgo - Turismo Rural
Review 1:The room and building had a lingering odor of bug spray; the bed is extra firm.
Review 2:We adored the beautiful bucolic setting, the great water pressure in the shower and the amazing breakfast, with the tastiest OJ ever, made from local fruit. We especially loved hosts Susana and her mom, who were both immensely kind and helpful. Wish we had been there longer; we would have used the pool and hot tub, which both looked very inviting!
Review 3:Beautiful location, comfortable, very nice and clean rooms. Lovely breakfast with homemade jams and cake. The owners are very nice, always willing to help and make you feel comfortable! We would like to return!!!
Review 4:We liked everything, but there are a few things to mention: the equipment for playing tennis was not good, so if you want to play tennis, bring your own rackets. It is a pity that no lunch or dinner is served but Zuzana recommends excellent places in the 2km away village. The ways to visit Guimaraes, Braga and Porto took longer than we had expected due to rather small roads.
Review 5:It is a wonderful place with extremely friendly staff. Rooms were very nice and clean, bathrooms excellent, the pool was very nice and breakfast was good. The Quinta is family run, and Zuzana is very kind and helpful. We would stay there again during a future trip to Portugal.
Review 6:Nothing, maybe breakfast was a bit basic. This Quinta was according to our expectations which rarely happends with accomodations booked on booking.com.
Review 7:Nice owner (Suzana) and her parents give warm welcome and are very nice and helpfull people. The (2 pers) room (we had) is very clean and has nice view vineyards/river and garden. The rooms on 1st floor have better view. Very quiet environment. Even though WIFI is only in public areas, we had (though weak signal) connection in our room.
Review 8:A small rural hotel is managed by a very nice family. A really nice place to stay and relax. Extremely nice personnel.Swimming pool, billiards and tennic court included - as well as some animals. Would definitely recommend everyone.
Review 9:Chairs on the balcony are not comfortable.
Review 10:Very clean rooms and warm/friendly people. They do anything to make it comfortable for the guests.Outstanding view and landscape. Very good breakfast and helpfull owners.
Review 11:You definitely need a car to get to this place and it can be challenging to find at night, try to arrive there during light hours. However once you arrive it's totally worth the trip.
Review 12:The hostess/owner was wonderful, very friendly and informative, the rooms are well appointed and clean, a great place to relax and enjoy the countryside in Portugal. The breakfast was excellent with fresh orange juice and they will prepare you eggs any way you like them. Make it a point to have dinner at Churasqueria Mindho, the owner recommended this place and it does not disappoint.
