Review 1：I found it really helpful to hire a scooter to get around the island and find other places to eat, although the food at their restaurant is also very good.

Review 6：We can go on and on about all the great things about Koh Yao Seaview Bungalows. The most important thing is that the family that owns and runs the place is amazing! So welcoming! Everyone works really hard to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We liked it so much we stayed another night, even though we already had a reservation for that night on Phuket. Just some examples of their kindness: they helped us organize a trip and immediately provided help when I came back from a trip with a (minor) burn on my leg. The bungalows are spotless (and even nicer than in the pictures!). From your deck, you can see butterflies and flowers and just hear birds! It's right by a beautiful bay (hammocks and beach chairs are present). It is truly relaxing! The family also runs a nice restaurant on the property, but if you want a change of pace, there are also a few bars and restaurants within walking distance (5-15 min). You may read that swimming is not always possible right in front of the place, but it depends on the tide and even with low tide you can swim there by taking a little walk into the bay.

Review 7：Friendly family. Clean comfortable bungalows. Fairly new bungalows with a large bed, clean laundry, plump pillows - all located on a beautiful bay with wonderful views. Sunbeds had new cushions delivered during my stay. Complimentary fruit with each meal. Great food. Located next door to yoga - great for drop in classes

Review 9：This is the Thailand of yesteryear. I want to give the place a bad mark to stop people going so I can have it all to myself! Basic good clean accommodation, wonderful setting, fabulous people and exquisite Thai food. A real gem.

Review 10：Like other reviewers said, swimming isn't really possible here. The resort is also situated between 2 rather high hills if you're thinking of renting their mountain-bikes.

Review 12：Nothing could have improved our stay. The rooms were not cleaned daily but this was fine for us as it gave us more privacy, however, some people may not like this.

Review 13：We had a wonderful stay on Ko Yao Noi. The bungalow had everything we needed and was right by the beach. The beach was lovely and quiet and was great for swimming. The food at the restaurant was home cooked and delicious. The staff we really friendly and relaxed and allowed us to help ourselves to drinks etc and pay later. The mountain bikes we rented were new and of excellent quality.

Review 16：Kind family, perfect stay! Not good for swimming but the boat tour brings you to beautifull swimming places. Our stay was great, very peacefull and relaxing!!

Review 17：Tropical area so this might not be the best option for those who can't stand mosquitos, spiders or snakes. Once we had a giant spider in our bed and once a snake dropped to my face from a palm. It was oppressive to hear the muslim call for prayer at 5am. However staff had nothing to do with that.

Review 18：Very relaxed atmosphere and great staff. Good restaurant with free fruit plates. Shallow water and no rocks.

Review 19：Sometimes, communication was a bit difficult due to the language barrier. The bathroom has no real window/mosquito net but rather small open "slots", making it easy for mosquitos to enter. During our stay, there was almost always low tide, making it impossible to swim at "our" beach (and the ocean was very hot! - so no cooling off during the heat), but there are many other beaches around.

Review 20：Charming bungalows directly at the beach and "close to nature" - at night, we heard nothing but the chirping of the crickets. Being here was so nice and relaxing after the crowded and busy tourist areas of Krabi, Bangkok etc. Nice and helpful staff, restaurant with good food at a very reasonable price. Easy to rent a scooter (even though it was a pretty old and slow one) and discover the nice and quiet beaches of the island.

Review 21：The beaches on this side of the island are not the best. Muddy is the best way to explain.

Review 22：The family that runs this place is wonderful! The island is on the quite side but by scooter you can explore everywhere. Many nice places to eat. Take a boat over to the islands for a nice day on the beaches. The room was simple but perfectly functional and very clean. The food was great and tasty. I would like again to come back to the highlight of the trip. I was there with my two year daughter and her mother. We felt at home! Do yourself a favor, if you read this --- stay at this place. You will not be disappointed. I returned two weeks after this trip to Phucket and tried to stay here again but unfortunately there were no open rooms.

Review 23：No bad experiences but it would be so much nicer if there was a swimming pool there, as you cannot go into the ocean during low tide.

Review 24：A cozy family run place. The beach is not very nice by the bungalow as the ocean is really far away during low tide but comes up to the resort at high tides. But it is really nice to walk on the beach anyways and follow the many crabs that live there. I recommend renting a scooter from them and drive around the island that is really nice and good price on rentals and you can find other beaches easily :) The food is also really good there and the little girl in the family is very hard working and speaks good english for her young age, I bet she will be running this place in few years :)

Review 25：This is a family run affair, and they were friend ly and helpful, and terrific cooks! We rented brand new mountain bikes and a pristine kayak, and they organized a boat tour for us that I'll never forget. The room was large and had a big, covered patio.

Review 30：The beach is only good for swimming right on high tide (same as all of the island) I got the room on special for 900b and that is what it is worth in low season. (The free fruit salad every meal took the edge off the cost. I do prefer the cheaper end for accommodation.) Check the motorbike before you rent, mine had no power on the hills. One day is enough to do the whole island and a 7/11 run.

Review 31：Right on the beach, and clean. Great food and value for money. (Try any of the curries, filling and tasty) Clean and comfortable bungalows with mosquito nets. (mosquitos aren't that bad) Lovely family that runs it. Relax, eat and do nothing. Walking distance to pier if coming from Krabi. They do a 7 island boat tour (including Hong) at 2500b per boat. Cheaper than Ao Nang. A nice 4 day chill out from Ao Nang. I will return.

Review 32：The beach in front of the bungalows can be only used during high tide, but the already knew that, don't expect a beach like kata or karon, nevertheless the entire island is a great place to rest and relax!

Review 37：The Wi-fi dropped out, nothing to do with the premises it was the local telephone company, also be aware that the tide can be out quite far and when the sea turns the water is like a hot bath, so swimming is only appropiate at the high tides depending when you arrive, I was lucky.

Review 38：Great quiet location, not touristy, best views location and the family were very special to me. Booked 3 nights and stayed for 11, and possibly returning. If you want touristy go to Pasia beach 5 minutes away with touristy prices.

Review 39：The beach there is only for swimming during peak high tide. There are a few others (reachable with scooter) where swimming is better, but this problem applies to the whole island more or less. However, a nice island if you got the drill :)
