Review 1：Not all the staff at the reception spoke English. Some of the rooms with a window to the back of the hotel are a bit noisy, but only during the day.
Review 2：Good value for money. Staff are helpful, they really tried to resolve the few complaints I had. It's very close to the city centre and bus station.
Review 3：Computer system was not working properly so we took a little more than usual to check in. Otherwise, everything went fine.

Review 5：Rooms smell on cigarettes. And the old curtains. We arrived late and hardly slept the first night. For the second we asked another room and after checking three others realised that all of them smell the same. No double rooms (with one double bed) on the silent (back) side and the loud one gives straight on the ring of Braga.

Review 8：The street is very noisy from the cars. To get good sleep you really pretty much have to close the windows and switch on the aircon, which doesn't make much sense when it's not so hot outside. The electronic door which used a card instead of a key never seemed to work properly. Small thing, but, annoying having to swipe 5 times to get in. Wifi is sporadic.
Review 9：The room was fairly big, clean and pretty near the city center (walking distance). The staff were fantastic. The fact that they installed a baby cot into the room before we came was great.
Review 10：It was a certain bad smell in my room that would not go away, as it was proably ingraved into the old carpeting and furniture. Cleaning was acceptable but lacked the extra detail, such as cleaning and replacing used cups from breakfast and in the bathroom, removing hair from the courners of the floor and behind the door, and when I opened my window turning to an enclosed courner backyard it was filled with bottles and sigarett snipes from earlier guests.

Review 45：Receptionist not friendly. I could only book a Room with RomanticPackage (this was the only option available). I came in the hotel tomake the check-in on Sunday, August 11, 2013 at 01h30 and I was alone,the receptionist asked me if I wanted the champagne included on myreserve. I was tired and thirsty so I asked to change the champagne fora cola but he refused to make the change. His answer was that my packageincluded the champagne and not other drinks, so I could choose not totake the champagne but I would have to pay extra for the cola and Iwould not get any discount by not taking the champagne.I travel a lot and have stayed in several hotels but never before I had such an unfriendly receptionist before. I will never book this hotel again.

So I wasrecommended, from the hotel staff, to park in a lot located very next tothe hotel. The price was fair (7 euros for all night) and I becamesatisfied. I think the hotel must have warned about the alternativeparking in the reservation form to avoid me to lost my time trying topark in the street.
