Review 1：Can hear everybody in other rooms through the walls. Fairly anyiquated and no access to basics there like bottled water etc. no vending available

Review 3：The pictures online were very nice, the room we got was clean but VERY OLD AND OUT DATED! Both bed slanted down by the headboard so sleeping slanted was an issue. The decor was old and the tv did.not work in the first room they gave us.

Review 7：As soon as you enter the office, which is at the entrance to owner's home, you are hit with the odor of strong, stale cigarette smoke. A very tired place, in need of refurbishing. Question the cleanliness of sheets. As I was turning back the bedding, I found a specific type of hair that should not have been there. Noisy, both inside and out. Disturbed both nights, well into early morning, by obnoxious people. Management did nothing about it.

Review 9：This place was run down/old and needed updating, no pride inownership in this place no ice maker no closet mattress sizes and boxsprings bigger or smaller on each bed shower curtain ripped and alsomissing shower rings, 13' tv, after 1 night sleep in the bed thesheets were all off the bed. Linens were cheap...sheets and towels,curtains nasty, no hooks, just holes popped in them to tie back

Review 27：Parking poor if many guest are present. Food debris and dried up coffee mess under coffee maker. Shower enclosure loose from walls. Mildew on caulking around tub. Dresser in rough shape(bowed from weight of TV). Looks as if owners put little to nothing into remodeling or up keep.

Facilities--comfortable beds, enough hot water and working air conditioning, albeit from an old unit that was a little noisy. Good restaurant in connection, if one likes Greek fare (and I do!). Met a couple of nice folks and their dogs; I seem to prefer places where dogs are welcome--a friendly vibe is usually to be found.

I was met by a young lady yelling at me "this is a private residence you can't come in here!!" Maybe they should put up a sign or shut the door instead of yelling at a paying customer!

We stayed 2 nights and after our room was cleaned, it smelled like smoke. We were wondering what it was and found a cigarette butt on the floor in our room. The double lock was also broken and the chair seats where stained. We don't need a lot of luxury but basic cleanliness would be great.

Review 86：Very reasonable room price for the Lake Placid area. Prepaid check-in was quick and easy. Room was clean, newly-painted, had basic but adequate amenities (coffeemaker, shampoo, no hair dryer). For the reasonably fit traveler, this location is within easy walking distance to all the shops, restaurants, and Olympic center. Catholic Church is a short walk away. Owner-operator couple is friendly and try to maintain a small facility that can appeal to the budget traveler not desiring a larger hotel experience.
Review 87：The shower panneling was not properly installed making it easy for water to seep behind it. There was an occasional sewage odor in the bathroom. Despite having a tinge of bloodstain on the sheets from our first night, the sheets were not changed the next day when the bed was made. These are merely suggested areas for improvement and are not meant to be critical as our stay, overall, was pleasant and relatively comfortable.

Review 94：Misrepresentation of "QUEEN" size bed! Was charged for a queenbut, I have a queen that I sleep on every night and this was definitelynot a queen. I looked at the tag on the sheet and it also said double. Idon't like being told one thing and having it turn out to be anotherand also being charged for the wrong thing. But I did go back and lookonline and there were no rooms listed with just a double - I wouldsuggest that if this motel wants positive responses that they shouldlist what they are offering - double beds!

There was no desktop computer available to the guestbut there was Wi-Fi. The tv was an old crt Tube not flat screen. I wentto plug my charger in the wall socket and there were sparks. No icemachine available and no Continental Breakfast but there wererestaurants in the area. Yhere was no view of lakes or mountains.

Review 122：We did not enjoy our stay at all. We had booked 3 nights at The Golden Arrow and just 2 weeks prior to our trip needed to find a place to stay for an extra night as GA was booked for the Saturday before New Years. Woodlake Inn had 2 rooms-the only positive was the price. The rooms were dirty. We were on the first floor and the people above us were walking around for what seemed like hours into the night and it was extremely creaky. There were no shades on the windows-just dirty curtains. When we arrived the toilet didn't flush. Someone came down within a couple minutes and proceeded to walk right through the room with his wet snowy boots and track snow all into the room. YUCK!!
