Review 1：the woman at the front desk was the only personal who spoke decent English old furniture moldy fridge weak light in the bathroom blanket and towels looked like they were used since the last century

Review 3：Quite an outdated place. The 70s aesthetic was not too bad at some points across the resort, but generally, it looked sparse and frozen in time. The bathroom and shower wasn't great. We couldn't leave any food or drink in the room as it would become infested with ants. The breakfast was also pretty poor and severely lacking in choice. Poor quality in relation to the price in my opinion.

Review 4：The location opposite the beach was the top point here. There was a small swimming pool, if a little old looking, but was useful to cool down a bit during the hot afternoons. The WiFi coverage was generally good.

Review 5：Rooms are a bit run down but it's an island. Breakfast is not big but you can walk easily around to find a good place only 1 minute away.

Review 7：Sometimes the room was not cleaned for over three days, despite requests. When you have to put toilet paper in a bin to avoid blocking the drains it is a problem. I don't think the upgrade to the garden view is worth it as you pay 50% more. In general I though the resort was overpriced for what it was and there are far cheaper options offering the same typer of accommodation in the same location. Was not expecting luxury but I think it is overpriced for what it is.

Review 8：One receptionist was lovely, very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, she seemed to be the only one who could speak English. From what I saw most guests were international, so there really should be more staff able to communicate. Bed was comfy and good location.

Review 9：The breakfast was very poor. The sausages were not cooked and no fresh fruits. Don't go for dinner to the neighbor "Chicken Honey". We've got a bad food poisoning!!

Review 13：Shower without box is uncomfortable. American breakfast has no choice: eggs, jam, tea or coffer, juices and watermelon. Wi fi works good for one device only.

Review 14：Stayed in room A15, 30€/ngt w/bfast; it is a large room with silent A/C, wi-fi and hot water. Room cleaning every day on demand. Helpful and kind staff, but just one mrs speaks English. Prices of boat trips in line with the agencies those. Walking distance from restaurants, massage centers, ATM spot, shops and boat trip agencies. The building is in front of a beach, separated only by the road, like everything others (pay attention to the low tide in the afternoon). Return transfer to the pier kindly offered from the staff (otherwise 100 thb pp).

Review 15：Cat outside the room during day time. I saw cockroaches, a spider, ants, mosqitoes and other insects in the room. Not so nice. Cats want to have food at breakfast.

Review 37：They accept only cash and we didn't have enough money to pay 4 nights so we left the following day, breakfast very average, bathroom old, a little bit expensive for what it is.

Review 41：Strike 1: reservation said free pickup from the pier but we had to pay200 baht. No one ever contacted us to arrange it.Strike 2: ate at the restaurant first night, they were out of ALL desserts on the menu. Strike 3: they did not clean room after the first night. I had to go to reception and ASK them to clean it after our second night. They acted like it was my fault.

Review 43：The food was terribly, no night life. But if you like Asia karaoke this is the place. the pool was small but clean and warm. The room is very basic and was in need of repairs especially in the bathroom.

Review 55：The cement bungalows are a bit utilitarian, but I suppose they'remore resistant to bugs and rot. There should be more beach chairs on thebeach (3 wasn't really enough), and the pool is useful only forgetting wet -- after that, there's no shade (and the sun is hot).Others have mentioned the pretty bad breakfast (included in the roomrate), and I concur -- at least there should be an option for rice(it's Thailand) instead of air-toast, and some way to not have thesaccharine-hotdog and slice-of-spam show up on the breakfast plate.Chukit would be pretty good except for the value -- it's just notnice enough to be thought of as being a luxury place, but the price ismuch higher than more simple bungalows on the island.
