Review 1：Do not book the Garden Suites, terrible accommodation. Make sure you stipulate the main hotel or main house. Photos on their website is not current and rooms are in a very bad state in the Garden Suite.

Review 3：The whole resort looks a little tired. It was interminably hot inside the hotel on the day we arrived. The toilet didn't work in one of our two rooms (nor did the deadbolt on the door), and my room had a loud and intermittent air con which kept us awake. There was no working WiFi during our stay. The pool often got littered with debris from the trees, but overall the staff kept at it often. I feel somewhat overcharged for what we got in return, but I also know it is high season, so they may be capitalizing on limited hotel availability. We in fact ended up there because our previous accommodation could only take us three nights out of our five in Hazyview. Everything felt a bit worn out and old at Numbi, but the staff were so cheerful and nice, it was hard to be too upset for such a short stay.

Review 4：The staff were friendly and charming, and the poolside bar/snack/breakfast area was a nice way to relax. They have a decent wine selection for my post-hiking swim and happy hour. The breakfast offered a decent selection of buffet items and the coffee was good. The grounds are lovely and we liked being adjacent to The Pioneer. The location made it easy to get around Hazyview.

Review 5：the payment for the hotel and a comensation for the game drive which we lost because of the wrong information 1100 rand

Review 6：at 22,00 oclock was no electricity in the hotel. i would expect that they will have a generator.It was very hot but we couldnt open the airco, we had to sleep wth a closed room-no windows and no air conditin . we had to light a candle wich was also a bit dangerous so we could not sleep well. The next day we had a booking for sunset game reserve from one of the gates (numbi gate) we asked in the gate for the way and they sent us to the opposite direction. Because of this we did not show up on time and we missed the game drive-which was our reason to be there. we were very disappointed. i told them in the reception about this. they appologized but did not offer any compensation.

Review 7：Lengthy power outages during our stay and the hotel has no alternatives should this happen to keep their guests comfortable. The restaurant is expensive considering the very limited options and the quality of their food. We spent a very uncomfortable night and were covered in insect bites the next morning. The hotel also didn't have any water. When asking the hotel personnel for information they were irritated and rude. We did not feel like valued guests at all.

Review 21：We had problems with our bookings and the receptionist that was ON DUTY was so very helpful and our enquiry got solved. She was very helpful. We happy that the whole staff is very friendly and welcomed us so warmly.

Review 30：1. TV ...advertised that DSTV is available but could only view Super Sport one and MNet movies SABC 1,2,3 and E TV. 2. Hairdryer got a 2 point plug. Have to pay R20.00 deposit for a plug to used it. I was only informed about the R20 dep. after complaining. Eventually I was given an extention to used the dryer in front of the mirror. 3. No plug in the wall where your suppose to use the hairdryer at the mirror. Two wall plugs available,one over the coffe table and one in the farest corner of the room - not near the mirror. 3.Batteries of the aircon remote flat. 4. Flies all over food at the breakfast serving area. No nets to cover the food. 5. Cockroach is the dining area.. show the manager 6. On Sunday 28.12.2014 want to drink coffe but dead fly in the milk jar. 6. Very hot in the dining area. No aircon or fan....only a fan installed in the stoep area. 7. I stay in Room No 9 which is next to the lady's bathroom. Could not used my outdoor sitting area because of the urine smell out of the bathroom.

Review 43：What to start with...the staff r super nice and helpful, place is ideal, 10 mins away from Phabeni gate, easy access to Graskop scenic areas and God's window. The hotel organizes the game drives with very professional providers. Excellent restaurant (Pioneer's place) inside the same compound, 2 gas stations just across the road, 5 mins away from a shopping center. Clean sheets, twice change of towels paper per day. Very nice porch areas and u park in front of the room. Very safe and comfortable. Breakfast basic but delicious.

Review 44：We spent a few days at the hotel in 2013 with my 83 year old mother, who was made to feel very special by all the staff. We have just enjoyed a wonderful week at the hotel again, and to my great surprise the staff all remembered us, and asked after my mom and why she was not with us. I will definitely be back!

And walls are very thin, our next door neighbor partied until 3am....

Review 112：I am a very frequent traveller on business and leisure, however hotel Numbi is an Absolute rip off for the price been charged, we stayed and payed a premium for the garden suite, false advertising in the internet as the pictures presented on the web is no way near what we saw and experienced, the general cleaniness of the rooms was of a poor std. And the size of the rooms for The price we paid was shocking. The bathroom was bigger than the bedroom, some advise travellers, this hotel is a rip off

Review 114：The rooms contains Termites all over Wardrobe,Carpet and ceiling. There we no staff to do enquiry or room service call number. We have to walk all the way to reception. There was no King/Queen size bed available in family room. Instead 2 smaller size beds are aligned together with gap in between.

Not once during our stay did they bother to change the linen until when my babt got sick and threw up on it.The carpet was filthy,we had to request that they vacuum, the table was broken. We are Definitely not going back ever again!
