Reviews for Inn at the 5th
Review 1:A rolling barn door to the bathroom? Give me a brake! Since the door doesn't close tightly, it represents a compromise to privacy. Sorry but the decor of both bedroom & bathroom do not come close to the 5* hotels we've stayed at in Europe.
Review 2:The staff were competent, courteous & helpful. They were 5* service providers!
Review 3:Deluxe king room very nice with exception of poor view. Would of thought for price of room it would include better view.
Review 4:Staff very friendly and helpful. Offered help with local cuisine. We felt they wanted our stay to be pleasant experience and very satisfying.
Review 5:this was without a doubt, one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. The design of the rooms is great and very spacious, the quality of the finishing (slate tiles, wooden sliding doors, fireplace, TV, etc) first rate. Great little touches like the room service pass-through door , packaged ice instead of those awful ice machines, window seat . Location is perfect too. Oh, and the rooms are completely soundproof!
Review 6:The room was very well appointed, and the bed was very, very, comfy. The staff paid attention to the details (we got glasses of wine on arrival) and were super friendly and knowledgeable! It was a great location to spend the 4th of July - we were right near the Art and Wine festival and were able to walk back to the hotel after the fireworks. We will definitely come here again!
Review 7:The staff was super-friendly and classy. Offered us a glass of wine when we arrived and had bottled water outside the front door in a tub, which was very nice on a hot day. Beautiful rooms.
Review 8:Showed up at 1:30 requesting early check in. Was told to go walk around they would call when room ready. Came back 70 min later they said room still not ready. Room finally ready 5 min before guaranteed 3pm check in. They knew we were waiting on site but they couldn't get one room cleaned sooner? Our room was at the end of a hall, had to open the door to get a wifi signal. That sucked.
Review 9:Room was beautiful, bed very comfortable.
Review 10:the attitude of some of the staff in Bone Marches (Restaurant) is rude!!!
Review 11:Every thing was perfect ,the best hotel in Eugene OR,and Jessica (front disk) she is professional ,friendly and goes the extra mile when it is needed, thank you Jessica.
Review 12:Some train noise but not excessive. Expensive valet parking. We'd planned to eat at Kings Estate Winery but should have done our homework better as this hotel was over 20 miles away, not the 10 we thought - our fault not theirs but check your distances as Eugene was obviously bigger than we'd anticipated.
Review 13:Nice hotel in good location surrounded by shops and restaurants. We were passing through Eugene and as it happened to be our wedding anniversary we wanted a smart comfortable hotel for the night. The Inn at the 5th fulfilled this perfectly.
Review 14:Price point seems high for market especially given no breakfast in deal Given the price point, inexcusable beds do not include feather or down pillows Staff is very nice, helpful and attentive but a tad too eager
Review 15:Location Quality of improvements and service Nicely appointed room
Review 16:Uneven reception staff. Young woman who checked us in failed to offer us a glass of complimentary wine while another couple was offered being checked in at the same moment by a gentleman receptionist. She was rushed and not welcoming in the least.
Review 17:Rooms were great. Train noise interfered with sleep however. Beds comfortable. Most of the staff were great. Marche is a terrific restaurant.
Review 18:Room on second floor overlooked parking lot and did not have a privacy curtain so there is a feeling that people can see in the room. The blackout drapery is great a t night but in the morning we felt a bit exposed.
Review 19:Fireplace in room, luxe linens and bath, bathrobes, lighted mirrors. Location is superb: restaurants, boutique shopping, easy access to University.
Review 20:Awesome staff ! Thank you
Review 21:Friendly helpful staff
Review 22:Finding the valet was a challenge.
Review 23:The staff was outstanding. Our room was beautiful and comfortable. Proximity to Provisions is ideal.
Review 24:The location.
Review 25:Great service and services with a convenient location.
Review 26:They stored our bikes at night for us. The location and nearby restaurants were excellent.
Review 27:Beautiful property... Staff super friendly and helpful Fantastic location

Review 29:Everything! Great beds!
Review 30:Room service breakfast menu was very limited.
Review 31:Staff was sincere, friendly and helpful throughout our brief stay.
Review 32:Upscale
Review 33:The location is almost magical, you're in Eugene but feel like you're in Europe
Review 34:I absolutely loved the hotel! From the front desk, hotel maids, concierge, bell man, customer service was superb! Would definitely go back!
Review 35:The staff is very friendly and it's one of the only upscale hotels that is dog friendly. We will bring ours next time!
Review 36:The staff was extremely polite accommodating and professional. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
Review 37:Great location. Amazing beds and beautiful shower.
Review 38:Multiple trains through night interrupted sleep.
Review 39:Very nice place and excellent staff. Restaurant Marche v. good (not excellent) Convenient parking.
Review 40:Staff not the friendliest. I get a warmer welcome from the chains (ie, Hilton).
Review 41:No self park option, and expensive valet.
Review 42:Almost everything...
Review 43:1. Hygiene 2. Room ambience 3. View from Patio
Review 44:Need a microwave or something to heat up food, it would save customer and staff some time
Review 45:Cleanliness and good staff with good customer service, very efficient.
Review 46:Noise level high, could hear thru the walls and ceiling. Train goes thru that area. Not a comfortable be.
Review 47:Decor, friendly staff, airport shuttle convenient.
Review 48:very small room, and lacked certain items such as magnifying mirror in bath room, hated the rain shower -shower head - not enough pressure and too far away to be able to rinse. would much rather have a hand held. Little chairs and table not comfortable, table bolted to the wall couldn’t accommodate the one chair, so we couldn’t sit two people in the room. Needed a pen, None in the room, just small things that could easily be fixed
Review 49:distance to fifth street market shopping. Very comfy bed, staff was very accommodating and friendly, nice small hotel feeling with safety issues addressed. Loved the ice bags down the hall
Review 50:We enjoyed all of our stay. The one thing we would have used if it were there (without asking, we are just funny about asking for more than what's offered) is coffee ans bottled water. That is not anyone's else's issue.
Review 51:Your staff was friendly, enthusiastic, polite. We saw employees from the front desk to cleaning staff, they were all pleasant to be in contact with.
Review 52:Great location very helpful staff. Great food options within walking distance
Review 53:Great location, beautiful hotel, and friendly staff.
Review 54:Warm and energetic staff very welcoming.
