The 4-star Wellness Hotel Grand Jasna is located at 1,350 feet above sea level in the centre of the mountain resort of Jasná. Built next to a ski slope, it offers a ski-to-door access. Hotel Grand features free access to the modern wellness centre which consist of an outdoor and an indoor part. You can enjoy the Chopok Mountain views from the outdoor hot tubs, or try the cooling pond and a Finnish sauna also located outside. The inner part comprises a pool, a relaxing room and various saunas.
Each room at Wellness Hotel Grand Jasna comes with satellite TV, a minibar, a safety deposit box, a telephone and a private bathroom with a hairdryer, bathrobes and free toiletries. Some rooms feature a balcony and WiFi.
Delicious traditional Slovak and international dishes are served in a spacious 120-seat restaurant built in a modern but cosy style. Review 1：Not all floors are renovated. You expect more from a 4 star hotel. Elevators are very very slow. Most people use stairs because no-one has the patience to wait 5 min for getting 2 floors up. Staff English quality varies. Sometimes they didn't understand simple queries. Too few parking spots. We expected higher quality compared to price.

Review 3：Not enough noise absorption. The hotel is rather crowded, many little children for such a restricted space. Food is invariable, but very high quality for the buffet service system.

Review 5：There were many awful things. First episode was poor reception. We booked 2 of deluxe twin room and I showed the booking confirmation to a receptionist when we checked in. But, he invited us to stay with 2 of standard room without explanation. After entering the standard room, we noticed standard room was poor and claimed him to move to booked room category. Second was poor meal. We had HB option but it was buffet even dinner time. We had to order main course from extra menu. Needless to say, breakfast also was not good taste.

Review 10：Greatly localised above 1100m up the see level, surounded with mountains, trees, so close to two ski lifts. Wellness centre with many saunas. Awesome food for dinner a la cart (buffet good but with few choices, breakfast very good too but served with simular options everyday. Good price in the Low season (October).

Review 11：Overcrowded SPA with kids and babies (?!). In breakfast room everything smelled like eggs because they didn't have ventilation - some people might like that homely feel, haha.

Review 12：SPA was beautiful but overcrowded (massages were heavenly). Hotel for families with KIDS not young couples. Breakfast had a wide variety. They kept the kitchen late because allegedly many people were arriving late. Superior room was worth the extra money.

I have never been to a hotel with so many screaming kids running (and on scooters) around the lobby and bar area which seemed to be their dedicated play area! It was so loud you couldn't hear yourself think. So we decided to go to the spa.Wrong! Screaming kids in the pool and running around. I don't know what this hotel is thinking. They are either hotel for screaming kids or a 4 star wellness spa hotel.... But maybe it's different in Slovakia??? Oh did I mention the screaming kids at dinner and at breakfast?

Review 21：Excellent value for money, the greatest variety I've seen in breakfast for a long time (including semolina with butter! ), extremely comfortable bed, very nice and modern room, and the hotel is situated right at the basis of cabins for mountain.

Review 22：Beds are a bit narrow. Wellness area is very basic. If you travel to Demenovska dolina for wellness, there are hotels with better wellness in this region of Slovakia. Lady at the front desk didnt know how to navigate us to a certain tourist track that was only maybe 100m away.

Review 26：I think that 10 a.m. check out is a big stretch for the 4 star hotel. We could have extended it by 12 p.m, but with additional 10 EUR. The hotel should be advertised as a family hotel, there were plenty of kids, and although we were fine and for most of the time not bothered, it may be problematic for some other travelers. Finally, I would have appreciated body lotion in the room - there was only a hand and body soap.

Review 27：I really like the location of the hotel and its spa facilities. Rooms were small, but well set and newly renovated. Although the hotel was full, the rooms were well noise isolated.

Review 28：We were on the top floor, which has not yet been upgraded. Lifts regularly not working! Rooms were clean and functional, but utilitarian and dated. Bar area on ground floor very tired. Wifi in rooms poor; better in bar/lobby.

Review 29：Location. It is literally ski to door! Wife and daughter loved the spa. We all enjoyed the food, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Ski storage modern with lockers that dry gear.

Review 35：The room quality is a drama ("standard room"). I think the last renovation was in early 90 of XX century... The cleanness is very poor. If you want to stay in this htel beware of 4th floor and "standard rooms". The elevators don't work properly. When you traveling with small baby and the stroller and you can't reach your floor because eleveator doesn't work it's disaster.

We stayed gor 9 nts and it was like a childcare centre every night. it was not relaxing when children were running around until very late at night in restaurant and bar and parents did not seem to care at all!! Also the double bed was 2 singles pushed together with a huge crack down the middle. For the price the beds should be better for couples. Hotels should not advertise double beds if they don't have them.

Review 83：Lovely staff and very helpful. Food was fairly good but salad bar needs to be improved alot. We liked that the restaurant served food till 10pm. Also Alexsndra at reception was extremely helpful, she even got our train tickets for us. We were so impressed by her efficient service. Nothing was a problem. Thank you!!

Review 84：On our first night, we were given a tiny attic room. You could not open the small window. It was very claustrophobic. We were then moved to a room that was fantastic. I have a question for Booking.com. I use yourselves to book hotels at least 10 times a year. Everytime I do, I seem to be given the worse room in the hotel. Is this because the room is discounted? I would like to hear the response.

Review 86：Sorry, but the hotel is not luxury, and romantic, because too many children's family in the hotel, wellness, spa, pool, jacuzzi, and the breakfast and diner in the restaurant. Not possible good use the spa, because children's family very very noise!!!! No possible recreation, and wellness.

Review 97：It's a very good 4 star hotel. Location is excellent, you leave the hotel in front of the cable car. Food is also excellent, very nice breakfast and dinner is delicious (no joke). Review 98：Packed wellness. We had to wait for jacuzzi. I also had a pedicure and the beautician was very slow and didn't have time to use a nail polish at the end which supposed to be included. The pedicure for 27Eur wasn't worth it at all. Very disappointed.
