Reviews for Executive Motel

Review 1:The room was dirty, there was thick dust on the entertainment center, pee stains under the tolite seat, the floors were dirty. My boyfriend and I didn't even want to chance sleeping under the covers. Anothere thing is the parking there was horrible. We went to the Oregon game and when we got back to the hotel there was absolutely no parking. We ended up having to park at another hotel, which was a inconvenience.

Review 2:I liked how we were able to check in early.

Review 3:Tiny bed - staff "warned" me that others always felt the same, but that it only "looked" small, because the room was small! Logic would suggest that a small bed would look bigger in a smaller room.

Review 4:Not much.

Review 5:I thought when j reserved a double room it meant it would be 2 beds. Nope, it meant one double bed. Made for a tight fit for my 16 year old son and I.

Review 6:The lady at the front desk was wonderful. Very friendly and helpful.

Review 7:The staff was unfriendly and unaccommodating and the outside of the motel was fairly run-down. Our rooms didn't have much more besides beds and a bathroom.

Review 8:The inside of the rooms were nice and the bedding was pretty.

Review 9:Older Motel, walls very thin. Upstairs guests started argueing in early AM and continued until we left around 10! Wall air conditioner noisy. Room lacking some of the basics; tissues, soap dish by sink, hair dryer, etc. Breakfast included was lacking; only coffee, packaged sweet roll and bananas.

Review 10:Let us check in early, so we could get to the game.

Review 11:The ice machine didn't work and our room only had the towels changed. It was probably our fault as I was asked what was needed and I stated the towels needed to be replaced. We did not eat the breakfast, but there was coffee available. No hairdryer in the room.

Review 12:The room was very nice and updates to the area will help improve the ratings over time. Good price for a football weekend.

Review 13:Construction going on outside that started early in the morning so I couldn't sleep. There was also no toilet paper and when asked for some I was told they ran out so I had to buy my own. This is my 3rd time staying here because the price is decent and the 1st room was amazing, the 2nd room I stayed in had no fridge or microwave and this last room was just horrible.

Review 14:The lady at the front desk is always nice and welcoming.

Review 15:Not a great breakfast, bed sucked and the staff were very slow and dirty cloths.

Review 16:It was very clean and quit. Loved the plants and garden in the back. Staff were friendly. I liked that you could walk downtown and find things to do very close. Good food located within a block. The motel was very very clean. I would stay again.

Review 17:City was tearing up the road right in front of the hotel and did it during the night- it was impossible to sleep- all 3 nights I was there!

Review 18:Room was clean

Review 19:building work going on all night, slow internet, really rude staff, didn't feel welcomed, breakfast was just a sugar bun and you have to leave a $20 deposit which you get back once they inspect the room in case you damage the room. - (never had to do this any where else!)

Review 20:location

Review 21:Noise from train horns. Breakfast, it would be nice if there a couple options for fresh fruit and/or hard boiled eggs. The prepackaged sweet rolls looked lonely in there.

Review 22:I enjoyed visiting with the woman that checked me in. I found that my room was clean and comfortable. Exactly what I needed.

Review 23:air conditioner didn't work, it did blow air though.. there was no breakfast.. wi.fi was a pain, which is fine, i put my phone down anyways and tried to sleep in the heat with no a.c.. convenient that i could have gotten a tattoo across the street as a momento, decided against it though, maybe next time..

Review 24:easy to find, just wish i had not found it..

Review 25:Fridge was unplugged/not cold when we arrived. Advertised "breakfast" but only had some fruit, pre-packaged pastries and coffee

Review 26:Office staff very friendly, room nicer than expected

Review 27:I got bug bites from this dump! In all my travels, this is the firsttime that I've ever experienced bed bugs in the U.S. I got them oncein Europe so I immediately knew exactly what it was. I discovered itshortly after checkout and I've been itching like crazy for over aweek. I have over 50 bites on my body which are finally fading away.

Review 28:No ice machine, but did have an old refrigerator which was sufficient. Only coffee, bananas, and packaged pastry for breakfast. Microwave in room but no cups, plates, or other condiments/utensils. No closet space, small bathroom with narrow door. Minimal toiletries.

Review 29:Price and location were good for our purposes, it was clean, and the staff was nice and accommodating. Staff gave us a good tip on a restaurant for a better breakfast. Good drawer and desk space, working AC, microwave, and fridge.

Review 30:Everything was horrible the room smelled to smoke you can hear everything from outside the bed was the most uncomfortable i ever slept.

Review 31:It had the very basic things.

Review 32:This was one of the dirtiest motels I've ever stayed in. We actually went to buy Lysol to clean the surfaces and all of them (tables, chair, bed headboard, bathroom sink handle, door handles) came away black on the paper towels. It wasn't worth it to ask for a refund as the lady at reception didn't seem "all there," though we did consider cutting our losses and booking another hotel. Walls were very thin and we could hear coughing, barking dogs, and the tv going all night in the room next door. It takes a lot to make me complain about a place, but this motel definitely skeezed me out and I won't be returning.

Review 33:Central location, cheapest motel in town.

Review 34:the wifi didnt work at all and the area was "rough" looking. might not have stayed if traveling alone.

Review 35:the room was surprisingly clean and comfortable. this was a decent cheap to sleep.

Review 36:I almost dislike everything.Clerk shout at customer in a very crazy way sometimes. And only had very simple bread and coffee for breakfast. The room cleaning means changing the bed sheet, cleaning out the trashcan only, and any more mess would let the only server got very mad,and someone might come to you during the night time. All of this are personal opinion not for sure.

Review 37:The location is not walking distance from U of O

Review 38:Very clean, great bed, free wifi...and GREAT staff!!! It was wonderful that this room did not have carpeting...allergy free!

Review 39:They advertisedon't breakfast included. It was a packaged stale pastry and coffee. With no coffee pot in the rooms.

Review 40:The beds were comfortable and the area was quite

Review 41:The attitude of the check in lady. She does not represent the motel very well. Complains about everything. Owners should in service her on customer service.

Review 42:The comfort of the room. Although the window covering and bedspread are quite outdated. But did have nice furniture.

Review 43:It was located in a questionable area, the site was dirty, the clerk who checked me in was short with me, the room was filthy. I would never stay there again and I will discourage others from staying there due to my personal experience!

Review 44:Nothing.

Review 45:Exterior is not bad, but neighborhood is a little sketchy. The staff need a makeover, looked like she was almost homeless. Very scruffy looking

Review 46:The rooms are a very nice surprise. Upscale remodelling

Review 47:No late check out allowed, sketchy area, gave us a standard key that could have been recopied.

Review 48:I liked that there was no carpet in the room. Nice laminate flooring. The room was pretty clean. Lots of storage if staying for a while.

Review 49:No Flat Screen or carpeted room as seen on the Website and Appliances Old Outdated Refrigerator and microwave air conditioner to small for room, One washcloth and face towel, 1/3 of a roll of toilet paper, Nite stand not wiped out and dust bunny's behind it wide spray cheep shower head.

Review 50:Size of the Bathroom and Main Sleeping Quarters

Review 51:The air conditioner that's mounted to the wall sounded like a small air plane was taking off. Really loud and hard to sleep. If I pressed on the unit every 15 minutes it would quiet it down.

Review 52:The staff was nice. It was in a convenient location to downtown Eugene, OR.

Review 53:Wasn't expecting the breakfast to be what it was.

Review 54:It was very clean and the bed was comfy, but more for one person not two. Bathroom was also very nice and clean.

Review 55:Appears that several "tenants" are "long-term". Standing outside of their rooms smoking, hanging-out, etc. Hmmmm. I cld to complain about "banging" on our common wall with a "regular" at the motel. Hmmmmm

Review 56:The room was somewhat clean.

Review 57:The customer service was not professional and rude. The internet was not safe from viruses-my computer got viruses from it. The beds were not comfortable at all-no closet!

Review 58:The location as it was close to the Lane County Fair. The bathroom was awesome!

Review 59:Very strange smell from the shower\tub and the construction was very inconvenient.

Review 60:Interior was clean a presentable. Bed was cozy and clean. The AC helped with the heat and the receptionist was very nice.

Review 61:Counter person in the morning could not produce a billing statement for my employer as I had pre-requested. Didn't seem to care either.

Review 62:Small but nicely renovated room. Some cleaning opportunities in the shower though. PM desk clerk was very nive.

Review 63:The refrigerator leaked water and we could not stop it, so our socks got wet every time we went to wash our hands. There was no breakfast in the morning. There was no microwave either. The worst part was the haggard crude obese woman who greeted us with the smell of cigarette smoke and made a fuss about making the slightest change. She was inappropriately rude and described the couples above us having sex as we registered at the front desk. She complained about her own life and the heat of the day. Not the warmest welcome I've every experienced. For this reason primarily we will not be returning to the Executive Inn. People were smoking in front of the motel at all hours, which was pretty terrible.

Review 64:The room was clean and the air conditioning worked fairly well. The motel was also fairly close to downtown, which was convenient.

Review 65:The neigbourhood is sketchy and the outside of the motel is dodgy-looking.

Review 66:The room was very nice - unexpectedly comfortable and well outfitted. I was very pleasantly surprised. The staff were very helpful at a late-night check in.

Review 67:No sound barrier in the walls. Voices were loud and clear from next door rooms--very unattractive situation. Alot of street noise. People talking outside sounded like they were in the room, so it felt a lack of privacy and security.

Review 68:The excellent care given each of the rooms--the cleanliness and presentation. I was delighted to find a microwave and refrigertor-- not something advertised, though the 'frig did not get cold.

Review 69:The problem was it was nighttime and we were ready to go to bed. They propped it up on a night stand and never came back to install it (we were staying the next night also. In the middle of the night there was construction so loud it woke us up and we couldn't shut the window. The woman at the front desk just said "what do you want me to do about it ?!?"

Review 70:The people who own it are very nice and dedicated. When we pointed out that our AC broke they immediately brought up a new one and tried to install it.

Review 71:See previous note. I didn't like my stay at this hotel it was terrible.

Review 72:Tv's color was not working. Ac was not working well. Charge me more money then I agreed to online. They staff were rude and I did not appreciate their comments about children not behaving in rooms before I was even checked in.

Review 73:non-smoking room smelled of smoke, flies in room, roll of TP had 10 sheets left, bathroom door stuck half way open, outside door lock didn't seem secure, etc...

Review 74:Bed uncomfortable and creaked, air conditioner rattled all night, walls dirty, room outdated, weeds in front of hotel, in a bad part of town.(druggies). Couldnt wait to check out

Review 75:We liked the price but it did not compare with the other hotels for the same price all through Oregon.

Review 76:A/c unit. The area around hotel has quite a few homeless people wandering around. I needed to print boarding passes for my return flight and they had no options to do that.

Review 77:Room had bad smell, bed was uncomfortable. Place is dirty/nasty. Too many "DISLIKES" to list. This place needs to be closed down

Review 78:Nothing

Review 79:The wait time to check in. The TV didn't work, no bath products, no coffee maker, awful pillows, the locks where regular home/door locks, ours was jammed. And no "free" breakfast.

Review 80:checking out.

Review 81:There was no closet to hang clothes, the towels had holes in them, the weeds outside were taller than me! Yikes. The doorknob was very dirty, both inside and outside. Other hotels in Eugene for the same price have a real "continental breakfast", like fresh fruit, juice, yogurt, cereal, hard boiled eggs, fresh milk for coffee, etc. You should check them out.

Review 82:The room was clean which was nice ...

Review 83:No ice machine. Room was so small the two double beds barely allowed passage to bathroom. Overall the accommodations seemed overpriced.

Review 84:It had a vacancy. Appeared to have a recently updated interior (except for older tube TV).

Review 85:for the money owners spent on the structural remodel of the room, the bedding & drapery are quite dated.

Review 86:close to the U of O campus, floors are not carpet they are a wood like product which I like for cleanliness.

Review 87:Overall the property is run down and poorly maintained. Air conditioner didn't work. Towels were poor quality, amenities such a tissues, hair dryer, etc. were lacking.

Review 88:Served our need for a single night. The bed had clean sheets.

Review 89:Burn holes in duvet cover...eww. Bathroom was covered in someone else's hair. The walls in the whole place were so thin, doors shuting anywhere in the facility would wake us up at all hours. Seems like people also live here.

Review 90:Anything we needed the staff was more than great in helping. WiFi wasn't working so tey rebooted modems and waitied until they new we had a signal. Found burnholes in duvet cover so they got us another duvet. Floors and reat of room were recently remodeled.

Review 91:Would have been nice to have more room to the bathroom entrance, but with two beds it didn't leave much room. Other than that it was perfect.

Review 92:Clean, friendly, and secure

Review 93:No closet or rod/hangers. No iron/ironing board. WiFi password should be posted in room.

Review 94:The hotel manager was very kind. It was easy to get to the University of Oregon from the hotel location. The only things that I wish my hotel room had was a closet or a rod and hangers to hang my clothes as well as an iron/ironing board, otherwise the room was clean and comfortable.

Review 95:Customer service needs to be improved in this hotel. The owners need to do something about the lady, who is at the front desk. Her behavoir is not acceptable. it always seems like a problem for her to register you, into the hotel.

Review 96:The area of Eugene.

Review 97:The room was freezing cold and the heater was small-half way up the wall. The manager brought us blankets to wrap up in until the room warmed up--it took a long time. No in-room coffee. No closet, no iron, we had a business meeting the next day and had to wear wrinkled clothes. The linens had stains. Ditto the towels. The traffic noise kept up until wee hours of the am. The train whistled all night.

Review 98:We discovered GC's, a little diner down the road that while the premises weren't as clean as I would have liked, the food was plentiful and delicious.

Review 99:i didn't like how thin the walls are. I also didn't like the fact that even after complaining to the manager about the noise I still wasn't able to sleep the last 2 nights of my stay.

Review 100:I liked the location.

Review 101:Housekeeper knocked on my door three times before 8:00am despite being booked for a second night and requesting no housekeeping. Also put me on the first floor right next to the office and a passageway to what appeared to be a more 'resident' oriented part in the back. Front of the hotel was empty, and it was kind of loud. No reason for a bad room location to be given for a 2-night stay.

Review 102:Good central location

Review 103:no breakfast.. a prepackaged danish and mediocre coffee was theirs... only one chair...no coffee in room...microwave, tv, and fridge, if u can get one, looked they were picked up from the spring cleaning trash pile... room cleaning was not the best... non accessible outlets for electronics...the tv is so ancient forget hooking up and games or computer to the tv screen... i will not stay here again

Review 104:not much, usually i am very easily pleased and reticent to leave a bad review.... the staff was nice but inefficient...

Review 105:This motel would have been a very good deal IF they had just spent some money on updating their bedding. When I see a comforter that's not white, it goes on the chair for the night. So when I went to remove my orange (eww) comforter, the underside was covered with hair and had visible stains. Eww again. This was bad enough, but the blanket underneath was one of those faux velour ones. It was so thin I could see through it, and had a tear down the middle. The bottom sheet was also torn. The staff did bring me a new comforter, but argued that "those are brand new sheets" when I pointed out the tear. So I lived with it. Outside the room, there was garbage in the landscaping. An easy fix, but they missed it. But this seems to be a common occurrence. When we went to the front desk to cancel our reservation for the next night (I would have preferred to sleep in my car instead of that place), I heard someone in the back say (loudly), "I guess they didn't clean THAT room!" Sigh. Fast forward to around 4 AM, when the occupants of the room next door awoke for the day. It was like they were in the room with us. I could hear someone whisper, "Time to get up! Good morning!" and then every word they said to one another before leaving. I could hear their towel hit the floor after their shower. Really. And I wear hearing aids. Dust level on furnishings/paintings was high. The bathroom fan had heavy dust and cobwebs on it. This room probably is cleaned each day, but has obviously never been deep cleaned. All hotels should have a deep cleaning schedule, even $45.99 a night ones. Bottom line is that this motel could be a VERY good value if they would just attend to the details.

Review 106:The rooms have obviously been updated. The tile in the bathroom was very good, and clean. The flooring in the rest of the room was very good as well.

Review 107:Horrifically outdated, uncomfortable beds, linens had stains, holes, and leftover hair on pillowcases, although I was assured they were clean. Rooms smelled like cigaret smoke. Tiny TVs were on their last leg. Couldn't make out picture on one tv, loud humming sound w/poor picture on other tv. During one of my trips to the office, I witnessed another last minute booking offered at $20 less than what I paid. Not going to return.

Review 108:The night manager was pleasant. Listened to my concerns and addressed them the best she could with what was available to her.

Review 109:All I can say is, you pay for what you get. We asked for early check in a week in advance. Told us that would be fine. We showed up around 1, they said the room would be done in 15 minutes, took much longer. The rooms were not clean and the service was rude and most inconsiderate.

Review 110:Horrible bed, floors not cleaned well, towels thread-bare, old paint, lock on the door really cheap.

Review 111:Was about the only motel available as it was a game day in Eugene

Review 112:The neighborhood was little rough, and the rooms weren't that nice (old CRT TV, not very comfy bed).

Review 113:I had come up on last minute tickets to the Oregon v. Arizona game on Thursday night. This was one of the only places available. The woman in the office was very friendly and helpful. The hotel wasn't too far from the stadium.

Review 114:They welcomed my wife n daughter like they where family the desk agent gave my wife a umdralla to use on one day it was raining the staff is so kind to there guests

Review 115:Bath towels were raggedy. No microwave or fridge. No closet or hooks to hang my suit. Paper thin walls...I could hear the microwave running in the room next to me; A child talking in another room and a couple having sex in another room.

Review 116:Nice looking large bathroom with good toilet paper.

Review 117:No closet space to hang up nice clothes. No extra toilet paper in bathroom. Bath towels were rough on skin.

Review 118:Central location Close to convenience stores Free parking Quiet Refrigerator and microwave in room.

Review 119:We had a single room. My husband is 6 feet tall. His feet hung off the end. Also the bed was very narrow. We were up close and personal all night. It was a child size bed.

Review 120:The room was very clean.

Review 121:it was dirty everything was broken employees were rude. Needles and drug addicts in the areaI would not recommend this for anybody anything is better than this place

Review 122:not much

Review 123:1. the grumpy manager 2. the cigarette smoke residue 3. the hairs on the toilet 4. the old blankets 5. there are no roll aways 6. we didn't even try breakfast because we thought it would be disgusting.

Review 124:1. the wood floors

Review 125:No facial tissue, loose toilet seat. Street noise, but air conditioner muted it. Frugal free breakfast. No luggage stand. Clothing rack located above microwave --weird.

Review 126:Very comfortable mattress. That's the most important thing to me. Better than in some more expensive motels, actually.

Review 127:Expectations not high because of the price, but it was alright for one night.

Review 128:Not much to complain about, very bare minimum. " You get what you pay for." We found it clean.

Review 129:nothing...I liked everything

Review 130:I enjoyed my stay. I enjoyed everything about my stay. The staff was more than friendly. They went out of their way to make us comfortable and they were always polite and kind to us. The room we were in was beautiful and very clean and comfortable. I would recommend The Executive to anyone who would be in that area.

Review 131:fridge promised in booking and not in room, front desk showed two rooms one had a broken unplugged fridge, one had nothing. stained sheets, burn holes in comforter, although ok facilities but poorly kept up, room was cleaned but with what seemed like sub par or watered down chemicals, everything was slightly sticky. will not return, only stayed because last minute booking and EVERYTHING elses was booked.

Review 132:the location was in the center of town, easy access to everything. the room visually looked nice, except for stained sheet

Review 133:1. airconditioner did notput out enough cold air, on hot day. 2. Staff could use a class on hotel courtesy and proffessionalism. 3. Bath towels, were so old and rough 4. No ice in room, have to get it from the office.

Review 134:1. location 2. good bargain, if its not game day. 3. enough room and right for the one or two travelers. 4. the rooms are cleaned nicely.

Review 135:Room smelled intensively like cigarette smoke / room change without satisfaction because same problem / paint falls of the wall / seeks renovation - totally run down property / TV from the 90's / noisy AC / 10% off is a joke because it still was more than other motels nearby

Review 136:Man at the front desk tried to be helpfull but was limited Granted 10%off

Review 137:Customer Service. The lady working at the front desk was rude and hateful. If her job is that bad she should please do us all a favor and quite she doesn't continue to make us all suffer

Review 138:Nothing. The room was dirty. Small old t.v

Review 139:The staff was a little off-putting, her comments about my sister and I were kind of rude. She told me my hair made me look like a skunk. Joke or not that was a little too far. I felt that everywhere we went in Eugene was pretty sketchy, it's no Portland. The room served its purpose, we were there for a concert so we just needed a place to rest our heads.

Review 140:The price was amazing. The room was not bad. It looked and smelled clean.

Review 141:Staff. She was rude. T.V. didn't work, asked to change rooms, she said "oh great, now I will have to clean another room. At breakfast, I took 3 sweet rolls, she made me put one back! Very rude woman!!

Review 142:Clean room.

Review 143:The smoker's residue, questionable door lock, noise from outside the window and traffic. Poor to nonexistent wifi.

Review 144:The location which was convenient to University of Oregon during a very busy track event. The old gal at the pm desk was a character also.
