Review 1：A bit off season so restaurant was not functoning, however only a short walk to an adequate one for eveing meal.

Review 2：Hilltop location next to Bom Jesus above Braga. Great breakfast. and views from room.

Review 3：This is not really anything I did not like, but in late fall, winter (off season) restaurants and gift shops are either closed, or close very early. But if you want to relax and have absolute quite. This is the time to go. For night life you can easily get to Braga or Porto.

Review 4：This is a beautiful location in Bom Jesus, near Braga. Braga downtown is about 10 minutes away. You are up on top of a hill, and the views are just incrediable. Staff is wonderful and friendly. Nice breakfast in the morning. and a great bar on site that will make you a late night snack if you want. Very quite and relaxing place.

Review 5：Nothing worked properly: Parking spaces were limited. Wifi did not work. Air conditioning did not work. Even the TV's remote did not work.

Review 9：The hotel is situated on the hill, we had a car, and I think without a car it can be hard to stay there - you need remember working hours of the funicular or walk up the long stairs. Also if you have a lot of luggage it will be hard to get any changes of transport. One day we returned to the hotel and saw that all restaurants nearby are closed. We drove down to the McDonalds but without a car we gonna have to go to sleep hungry. So it's great place if you have a car, without it you can get some asperities.

Review 10：Really nice hotel with great view! It is situated on the hill over the city of Braga, so there's a great city view. Bom Jesus cathedral, stairs and funicular are in a few minutes walking down. There are some restaurants and a park near the hotel. Host was very good, she spoke Portugese, French and a little bit English. We used a laundry, it was about 2 euro per jeans.

Review 14：The Staff were very friendly and helpful especially the lady at the reception. On checking out of the hotel I had left my recharger in the room. I phoned the reception and the lady kept it for me so that I could pick it up a few days later. That's what I call good service! We would definitely book there again.

Review 18：Wi-Fi was non-existent. The one hotel computer in the lobby was glacially slow. Just checking email was a chore. Both the curtains and the shower curtains had mold along the bottom. Hallways are very dark. The décor was very dated. Needs a major renovation.

Although the breakfast wasa cold buffet it was very good. Other clients criticized the darkness -they practised energy conservation when they could.

Extended our stay in the hotel for two more nights since we liked it very much. Good place to stay near Braga. There are several local restaurants around. Easy and cheap access to Braga by taxi or bus. Good value for money! Strongly recommended!

Review 64：Grande Hotel is really "grand"! We had a wonderful suite with an enormous balcony and a great view over the hills. Rooms are indeed a bit old-fashioned, but very comfortable. Bathroom recently renovated and quite modern. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Good breakfast.

Review 65：Sitting on the deck was more exposed to one's neighbours than might beenjoyable if one was wanting a private moment. We knew our neighboursand were able to chat to them across the balcony railings and betweenrooms as the partitions were so open, it made it quite fun for us but Iwonder what that would feel like if you were there on your own?

Review 66：From the first moment of arriving the staff made us feel welcome and athome, yet they never intruded on our privacy. The location on the hillwith the stunning views of the valley from our room meant that we wereapart from the city yet close enough to get there with relative ease onpublic transport. Walks in the park around Bom Jesus and up the hill toSameiro were easily accessible and very pleasant. We were part of alarge contingent of people attending a wedding which added to ourenjoyment! Review 67：Stuff is almost too friendly which may bother some. Breakfast could offer a greater variety of meats and cheese. Also, vegetables, fried or scrambled eggs would be nice. You should come by car to be able to access the city. Parking could be a problem in evenings when people visit neighbouring bars and restaurants. Bathroom could use some remodeling, however is acceptable. No english TV channels. Internet was not accessible with Apple iDevices. The password for the Wi-Fi on the welcome note of the room is incorrect.

Review 68：Very comfortable rooms. Ideal price/benefit ratio. Great starting point for trips in the neighbourhood of Braga (Guimarães, Porto, Braganca, Amarante, Lamego, Douro). Free Wi-Fi.

Review 71：The room was cold and if you switch the heating off, in 30mins the temperature drops 5 degrees down. The toilet had a bad flush and the tap of the sink was loose and wobbly. Also it's not easy to get to Braga by the public transport. We waited 45mins for a bus. The last one leaves Bom Jesus at about 19h40 and to get back you need to take a taxi.

Review 72：We stayed in this hotel for one night. We had a family room with a double bed in one part and two extra beds in the other. There was a big terrace with wonderful views. The room was spacious, decorated in kind of antique style and had a sofa and two writing tables. The hotel staff was friendly and kind. The breakfast we had was good in a room with lots of light. The hotel is in the very beautiful area next to the Bom Jesus Natural Park and Bom Jesus do Monte sanctuary. There are plenty of activities, like hiking, horse-riding, cycling, boating, jogging, etc.
