Reviews for Six Senses Yao Noi

Review 1:Could expand the gym facilities.

Review 2:Absolutely idyllic and beautiful oasis in Thailand. Don't bother going anywhere else. Amazing architecture, food, service, facilities and overall location. LOVED the villas. Great Thai kick boxing lesson to boot!

Review 3:Everything was just perfect These people there treat you as a king It's a paradise to go Our gem (PU) was so helpful and amazing so do all the staff

Review 4:Tasty and organic food, so kind staff , clean and amazing rooms. You spend 3 days in paradise with our 3 children. The view is fantastic, the entire resort is so quiet ! Tips : try the spa and the cooking class, great experiences !! Thank you for all Pop.

Review 5:nothing. We had a perfect experience.

Review 6:Everything. Best hotel we've been in. If you're in a honeymoon you must be in this hotel but do yourself a favor, make this your last hotel in your trip.. will be very hard to be in other hotels afterwards.

Review 7:stayed in villa, would have been nice to have a stool in bathroom to sit while i dried my hair. Bar prices very expensive

Review 8:Amazing place, amazing views, friendliest staff i have seen, nothing too much trouble. Best breakfast i have ever had in a hotel

Review 9:The resort is amazing bi hade a really amazing time there and enjoyed every moment. The staff was better than expected and they do care about their guest. Also would like to mention the warm welcoming from the hotel management when we arrived.

Review 10:Staff is very courteous, friendly, helpful and everything is in the right place for travellers to relax and enjoy with plenty of alternatives. Service is on the high level you expect from Sixsensses. Cuisine is diverse but you've got to be used to spicy food.

Review 11:Hotel tries to push some of their own label thai wines, which are not up to their very high standards.

Review 12:Perfect location, service, facilities. The hotel makes everything to make it special.

Review 13:Only the weather, which nobody can organize! It was rainy season in August and sun was hiden among clouds and rains.

Review 14:The stay at villas attended by a butler gives a personal and private experience. They are very eco friendly using all local foods and material avoiding imports, such homemade environment gives more warm touchiness. Guests can go to chicken farm to pick up real fresh born eggs and bring to the kitchen to cook as you want. My son was really excited with this experience. In the property, small car called bukit drives us to SPA or dining room since the villa are independent and far away. It was fun to get a ride especially for children. Walking was also comfortable and quiet. People are very friendly and kind and I felt like I am brought back to nature and home.

Review 15:Absolutely nothing.

Review 16:I loved everything! The hilltop pool has the most breathtaking view ever! The food was so delicious. The spa treatments and morning Yoga classes were excellent. There were a lot of water activities to keep you busy as well. I absolutely loved the outdoor movie theater and the complimentary popcorn they offer along with the cookies and icecream that are complimentary during your whole stay! The villa was very spacious and the bed was super comfortable. The entire staff were all really friendly especially our butler Gwen. She was awesome and made our stay memorable and was always checking up on us to make sure we were having a good stay and didn't need anything. I would definitely come back!

Review 17:Amazing resort! If you need to relax and to discover peace, you have to try Six Senses at Koh Yao Noi, one of the best resorts that I ever seen in all my years as a traveler. Solid gold!

Review 18:All !!!! Congratulation because all look private and if you want to have private time into paradise go there !!! I will go back again and this is so far the best hotel in Thailand ! No comparaison !! I advice the activities of the hotel: private boat to Phi Phi Island was amazing.. We did not follow tourist, but follow our ideas ! We did snorkeling in the middle of the sea !! Sunset is also amazing to do with champagne, couch on the beach...etc ! Thanks SIX SENSES !

Review 19:Everything was great

Review 20:Absolute paradise. Everything is seamless. The personal butlers (GEMs) take care of everything including check in and checkout. The villas are breathtaking, the grounds are in perfect shape and the staff are great. I would recommend the cooking class, chef's table and half day boat tour of the islands. I seriously did not want to leave.

Review 21:Many different kind of small reptiles in our room;(very difficult to sleep and my lady was afraid) Raining in our room (no joking) Very expensive restaurants in the resort (no where else to have a good diner as the island is empty) Expensive like a good four season resort without the comfort of it overall disappointed and god knows that we like to pay good money for good value (check our review of some good hotels in Thailand)

Review 22:Its difficult for me to describe the six senses of Yao Noi. if you have never been in a good resort in Thailand you will like it , but if you like luxury and best quality you will be disappointed! Six senses Noi have been a paradise once but now it isn't anymore and that's bad :( Personnel is nice and the island is beautiful

Review 23:I didn't like the food it was not the way we eat in middle east I am from bahrain so plz add this menu in it

Review 24:I limed the staff the way they treated us Plus the place of the villas Moreover the the activities

Review 25:On arrival, when asked if we have any dietary restrictions, we specifically informed the Guest Experience Manager that we do not take pork. On our morning of checkout, we asked in villa dining to send some food to our room for breakfast and was sent a croissant sandwich which I ate. It was only afterwards that I knew it was pork! We specifically said we do not eat pork and were fed pork. Since I'm a Muslim traveller I'm always very careful that I don't consume pork on my frequent travels. When I found out that I've been fed pork, there was no one from senior management who even came to deal with this. Only the Guest Experience Manager was left to deal with it since 0730 AM was too "early" for any senior staff or GM to make an appearance. After all this fiasco, I've now been sent an email from the resort with an apology. Further insult to a Muslim after feeding pork. I travel about 15 to 20 times a year and this is the first time I've had to face such a thing. Shocking that a property run by a Six Senses can do such thing. Words cannot describe my disappointment.

Review 26:Amazing place, breathtaking view, beautiful villa where you just want to stay all day. The beach is great, the pool site is unique... The staff is outstanding. Our GEM, Aim, made our stay very special and exclusive. Thank you so much Aim for everything, we will be back. The private BBQ in our villa for our 10-year anniversary was just perfect (candle setting, etc.. so romantic!). This six sense is really worth the trip, we just wished we stayed longer.

Review 27:Nothing to do with the actual resort but...the prospect of further development on the island will put Western tourists off... This needs to be fought at a local level.

Review 28:Having stayed on Ko Yao Noi before, this was our first time at the Six Senses resort. The most important thing any traveller here should realize: responsible tourism can be achieved. No plastic bottles, recycled water and some self sufficiency actually go a LONG way to creating a more desirable charm than they do to diminish it. ALL resorts in Thailand should follow the lead of Six Senses. Beautiful views on an unspoilt island (which, unfortunately, I fear may be spoilt by over development in the near future; let's hope not. The world does not need another W hotel style concrete resort). The perfect balance of luxury and looking after nature. We will return

Review 29:The pool size. Wanted a bigger one compared to similar places

Review 30:The genuine friendly staff, water activities and batik painting. The bakery and daily complementary home made ice cream and cookies The location, decor, and nature

Review 31:Some of the excursions are a tad bit expensive compared to the local prices.

Review 32:Everything! Quality of service is the best I have ever seen.. Staff is super friendly and the hotel experience is astonishing. Just when you think it cant get any better it one ups itself.

Review 33:The 2 bedroom villas do not have a conventional living room so there is no communal area to meet except for in the bedrooms or outside by the pool.

Review 34:From the arrival at Phuket airport, the journey to the island was very smooth and well coordinated. The staff & particularly our 'gem' took care of all our requests. The spa treatments were excellent and there was an amazingly large selection of food for breakfast. Lunch & dinner was more restrictive

Review 35:Nothing.

Review 36:Stayed at an Ocean View two bedroomes villa and it was amazing, breathtaking view, very attentive and friendly staff and great facilities. You will never get bored. Love it and will definitely come again. Don't miss it.

Review 37:if you are not a big fan of creepy crawlies, there will be loads, as you are in a mini forest.... despite all of that... i LOVED the place.

Review 38:Loved the GEM experience. It didnt feel like your normal "customer service" smiles... it felt genuine and i havent felt so relaxed in such a long time. Try the Lumsai seafood restaurant outside the resort, ask your GEM and the restaurant will pick you up and drop you - and its free! Go around the island - you will meet some good people At the resort, try their spa's - loved every bit of it. they also have babysitting services!

Review 39:The first spa treatment was AMAZING the best massage we had ever had and we have had many but the 2nd was very disappointing but this was really very minor compared to everything else

Review 40:The views are just amazing one of the most beautiful places we have ever been in our lives.

Review 41:The worst butler ever we met. They have problems with bells

Review 42:The view

Review 43:Beautifull views and location

Review 44:Indescribable! Incredible property and views, only surpassed by the amazing staff! A perfect destination resort! We didn't want to leave.

Review 45:Service standards are exceptional

Review 46:Loved our gem... Anne

Review 47:The staff were exceptional and made us feel like we were the only ones staying at the resort, almost like family.

Review 48:Evertything

Review 52:The welcome and the facility that they provide + the view

Review 53:Slow Wi-Fi.

Review 54:Everything, privacy, friendly staff, delicius foods, this is the Paradise...

Review 55:Nothing. Just perfect.

Review 56:Just perfect. More than perfect. Piece of paradise. Staff, food, villas, beach. Everything perfect!

Review 57:Cucarachas in the bedroom and on the bed during the night.

Review 58:Pool, view and food.

Review 59:None

Review 60:Service makes you feel like king or queen, they will never say no to guests

Review 61:Nothing

Review 62:Superb location, excellent attentive staff and a very well run resort. Expensive but a first class experience

Review 63:nothing

Review 64:everything

Review 65:Quality of accommodation, the ambiance, the staff, the food, the facilities.

Review 66:Every thing

Review 67:Very sweet for the hotel arrage a wedding anniversary cake! also my daughter is very happy to learn how to make the cookies with the chef. Very relaxing place.

Review 68:We could not stay more than five nights

Review 69:A gorgeous place, stunning views! You get a sense of paradise. The constant colour change over Pang Nang Bay. Over the years we have seen most of South East Asia. Often it has been a bit of, been there done that. But this is not true for the Six Senses Yao Noi. This for us is a must come back place.

Review 70:Nothing to do with the hotel which is perfect! Yao Noi is spectacular. I only fear it may not be like this in the next few years...Well as long as it never becomes Phuket! They will have a good business still for a few years but hopefully they realise that their beauty relies on nature. If they spoil it by constructing massive places it will lose its uniqueness. I would dare say Thai authorities are rather short shighted in terms of preserving nature and beauty. I dont like the way people throw rubbish everywhere (not in the hotel, just out of the premises)

Review 71:Everything. Absolutely everything was perfect in the hotel. Yao Noi is spectacular. I only fear it may not be like this in the next few years...Well as long as it never becomes Phuket! They will have a good business still for a few years but hopefully they realise that their beauty relies on nature. If they spoil it by constructing massive places it will lose its uniqueness

Review 72:Everything! Very good staff, food, facilities. Privacy level is very high but the staff also organizes some drinks at the beach for people to network and socialize!! Amazing experience!

Review 73:In the winter times, the water of the pools is a little cold. We almost did not enter our pool because of that.

Review 74:The place is realy nice, very calm and private. The service is great. We enjoy our stay.

Review 75:Loved the exclusivity, serenity and tranquility. Excellent service by staff in all departments. Great restaurants. Lovely Spa and many activities. Very eco-friendly.

Review 76:The Villas are fantastic. It is not just a trip. It is a life experience that the hotel provides. The assistance during the stay and also for transfers and airport were great.

Review 77:Other services were excellent but the Service from "Female workers from the Ice Cream Shop" was TERRIBLE! Often give Thai customers (especially) the annoyed look and didn't talk nicely as if we didn't pay for the service!?! Also you often have to repeat your order!!!! This is a 5 stars resort how can this happen?? **However, the Male Worker from the Ice Cream Shop was very Nice and Calm! The improvement needed from Female Workers at Ice Cream Shop!!

Review 78:The view of Phang Nga Bay is spectaculous. Best of all sixsenses in Thailand! The Hill Top Reserve is magnificant! Great service from both my personal Gem and People at Hill Top namelyl from Khun Sky and Khun Ning! Excellent! My room is also excellently made, with many types of pillow per my request. There is also a welcome note/card from GM of Six Senses Yao Noi (this is really 5 stars service, scored!)

Review 79:The wine menu it's a bit pricey, but it was expected though. The treatments at the spa are only 50 minutes sharp, whereas in all over Thailand you can get at least 1 full hour for 1/4 of theis fees. The spa is amazing and the staff is extremely professional, but for the fees they charge, they should increase the time of the treatments to be more in line with strong competition just few steps away.

Review 80:Everything!!!! The service and the pool villas are amazing and the privacy is part of six senses philosophy!!! It's so beautiful built with the highest environmental standards which makes it unique and special. The food is delicious and do not miss a private dinner at the hilltop reserve restaurant, it's all worth it. We could not get enough of this exquisite paradise!!! Thanks to Nan our Gem, who did the outmost to please our needs. Special remarks: the pillow menu selection, the complimentsry ice cream & cookies bar and the hilltop landscape view!

Review 81:A very welcoming resort, spacious villas offering totally privacy & incredible views of the limestone cliffs, good food options, excellent spa, friendly staff. A truely beautiful hotel that gives you space & peace & quiet to recharge your batteries.

Review 82:Fabulous!
