Review 1：The rooms had a bad odour and it was dark and dingy. The shower was pathetic hardly any water came out of it. Restaurant was very average. Not worth the price per room. Very disappointing!

Review 2：What you see is not what you get. The grounds are badly maintained as well as the rooms. You are not getting what you are paying for!

Review 4：We were in the honeymoon suite, but not very happy about the layout of the place. It is build in 4 levels. The toilet is on the bottom and the bedroom is on the top level. The stairs is black and in the night time it is a mission to go to the bathroom.

Review 10：They claim wi-fi is free but it is only free for 30mins through a sms to Telkom but even that did not work. The dinner option is very limited i.e. not enough options for vegetarians and not good vale for the price i.e. R185 per person.

Review 12：Our bed was uneven with the one single bed with no leg support directly sitting on the ground. Day one of our stay we couldn't take a bath the water was dirty and reception told us to let it run until it clears.the pond with the koi fish looks horrible.the lodge is detororiating,

Review 19：What we were very disappointed in was the pictures we seen on the internet when made the booking via Booking.com and to what we actually seen. The bathroom was dirty mildew in the shower and around the bath as well the floor tiles. The wardrobe shelves are not good and no top, there were black bits on the clothes each day. The deck is a safety hazard the one rail is loose my wife nearly fell off when leaning against it. The passageways are dirty and unkempt. The main reception area at the pub is an absolute pleasure totally different. When I asked the reception if I had been put in the wrong room given what I had seen on the internet she told me that Booking.com only have 3 rooms and room 15 is one of them. I wonder if booking .com are aware. The patio door is full of new putty there are holes in the door where it seems the room has been broken into at some stage which makes one feel very insecure and uneasy where as it should be the other way around being on holiday one should be relaxed. The TV is almost un viewable due to the lines across the screen

Review 52：The fact that we paid for the honeymoon suite and had to downgrade to a normal room, due to the steps in the honeymoon suite. We still paid the same for a "downgraded" room. Only 2 cups of coffee in the room and when we ask for more, we get DECAF. The dinner is too expensive...R180 per head. It forced us to go out and buy food.

Review 53：Unfortunatly the crocodile was brought to the National park. Because ofthe winter season I didn`t see rock pythons.

Review 55：The room. A complete degrade of the Lodge. other rooms were 4 star but the room we were given was clearly an add-on: sloppy repair jobs in it, TV not working properly and an old box, enough cupboard space for one. although a 4 star lodge, this room was barely a 3 star.

Review 63：The information service about safaris in the hotel just have one contact (not good and expensive). I think these people receive comissions for that, finally we found a safari service for the half price of the hotel recomendation in the first day.
