Review 1：This is one of the Bom Jesus hotels, behind the park, so not right next to the church and stairs. I found it excellent, very peaceful. The breakfast is of the continental type, so croissant, cheese/ham/jams, juice and coffee, but there was also fruit and some pastry. I found it very good value, the hotel was also pretty empty when I was there, so very peaceful. It is by no means central, you have to know this, but it is just a few minutes walk past the pond to the Bom Jesus church and stairs.

Review 2：A kettle and some sachets of tea/coffee/milk or some shower gel would make you feel a little welcome. This is the first hotel we've stayed in without them.

Review 3：It was cheap, basic and exactly what we paid for. The rooms were clean and the air con worked quietly and efficiently. The location is excellent. Plenty of clean towels and fresh linen. Great parking. Beware - the fab pool is in another hotel which you get a free pass for

Review 4：It is difficult to find the hotel, because it is not signposted. Breakfast is the same every day, it would be better if they could provide wider range of cold cuts. The room was very old-fashioned and needs renovation.

Review 5：The hotel is in a nice location, in the Bom Jesus park. The staff at the reception desk is very kind and helpful. Our room overlooked the mountains, the common areas looked new. You can park in front of the hotel, in the park. Wi-fi worked stable.

Review 6：My room had a damp smell, not too bad but a bit unpleasant initially. The shower needs an upgrade and I'm not sure how much the tiles are cleaned as there is soap and black stains in the grout. The worse thing however was the fact there was no iron, not one in the whole hotel! I was astounded as I have never known a hotel not to have an iron available for guests to use. Not a deal breaker but I was disappointed.

Review 7：The location was 5 star. The Bom Jesus park is on the doorstep and the views of Braga and surrounding villages are amazing. The Bom Jesus sanctuary is fantastic and the whole of the area is wonderful and not to be missed. The hotel is in the park, which has a lake, hence the name and is part of a chain of hotels within the Bom Jesus area, however, this one looked like it needed some work and inside is rather tired looking.

Review 35：I didn't like the fact that the bedroom didn't have a minibar. Theguests in the room next to ours smoked, even though it's forbidden.The smoke came to our room, making impossible to stay in the room inthe morning. Even though the hotel can't really be blamed, thisshouldn't happen.

My room had a view to the North, towards theEste river valley and the Geres mountains. It's also close to the city,but only if you have a car. The place is very beautiful and peaceful.
