Review 1：It was one of the filthiest places I have ever been, not just the filthiest hotel. Stained sheets, terrible cigarette smell, holes in blankets, bugs, I could go on and on. It was so dirty I had to sleep in my clothes. The sheets were so small they kept coming off the mattress. I have already been spreading the word around town that this poor excuse for a motel is rancid, needs to be covered in bleach, and then burned. GROSS!

Review 5：Kind of scary- lots of people hanging around the parking lots. It appears that weekly rentals are the norm. Lots of refurbishment going on. 5 officers responded to a Saturday dawn call. A cheap dive- not for the nervous.

Review 8：Room was in the process of being remodeled and still very clean and organized. I do a lot of traveling and have stayed in cheap motels to high-end resorts and some of the resorts could learn a thing or two from this motel
Review 9：The bed had one spot on the mattress but it was nothing major, & the sheets seem to be to small for the bed as they kept coming off. The bedspread has holes in them also. The only thing I would suggest for him is to purchase new bedding bc it seems after the renovation he probably just keep the old stuff but other than that I have nothing bad to say!!!
Review 10：I truly was not expecting the room I got!!!! The outside of the Hotel gives off an image that the rooms are poorly kept & dingy maybe, but when I saw the room I was in awe. The manager said it was recently renovated & it was just that!!! I was completely satisfied & will definitely stay again!!!
Review 11：Not clean, didn't want to let my 3 yrs old dog stay despite the advertising. When I offered to leave, the manager said we could stay in a nonrenovated room for the same price. Unfortunately it got worse as the room was disgusting and the WiFi didn't work 75% of my time there for 2 days. It'll be ok for a cheap room for the night to get some sleep, otherwise stay away don't ruin your stay in Durham.

Review 13：It would be helpful to have handholds in the bathroom for safety. We had a nice King bed but the sheets did not fit causing the sheets to come off the corners and wrinkle. No breakfast. No coffee in rooms and no hair dryers in rooms.

Review 16：What I liked most about my stay was the things I did and places I visited using motel as a base. It was close to a major highway with connections to others that I needed to use, although not always easy to figure out.
Review 17：Even one star is too generous for this facility. I hesitate to even use the word hotel or motel either. From the dilapidated outside to the outdated furnishings I'm grateful we only needed to sleep here. There is no housekeeping service and no hangers or rods for hanging up your clothing. We had to rehang the window curtain, that contains burn holes and we had to use a binder clip I brought to keep it closed. The water in the shower drips incessantly and the refrigerator freezes whatever you put inside with no means of adjusting the temperature. There is no hairdryer, no phone, no clock and the towels are so thin they function more as exfoliants than absorbants. Thankfully the tv works as well as the wifi so we could escape our environment. When venturing to the lobby to partake of the promised continental breakfast we found only coffee and were told that we could not fill up a travel mug we could only fill the small styrofoam cup provided. We're returning to Durham next month and have already made reservations at another inn. I would caution anyone thinking of booking a room here to look elsewhere!
