Review 2：他のホテルエリアやビーチからは離れているが、レンタカーがあれば問題ない。高速船を使うなら港が近いので便利。おかみさんのMarie-Annetteは予約後から確認メールやレンタカーの案内などまめ。到着後もいろいろとアドバイスしていただき、とても助かった。手作りのスィーツやジュースもおいしかった。ワイファイの接続も良好。近くに手ごろでおいしい地元料理のお弁当屋さんがあり、もちろんテイクアウトも可能。 Stayed 2 nights in total as a hopping from Mahe. Just 5 minutes walk to Jetty port office. If you have a rental car, distance from other hotel area or famous nice beach is not a problem. As Marie-Annette advised us where and when to go, we really enjoyed Praslin in spite of rainy season. Wi-Fi was easy to connect. We cannot forget the taste of her welcome cake and juice.

Review 3：The location was great for catching the bus but if you wanted to go to the beach you had the catch the bus, you couldn't walk to it. Also, bearing in mind that this is very central, please note that if there is a festival or something similar going on (or even cars driving at night with loud music) you can hear it. If you are a light sleeper it can be annoying so please do bring ear plugs. Please not that in the whole of Seychelles, and this establishment was not an exception, Internet is very expensive and slow. Although we did have 24/7 Internet we felt guilty using it as the host remarked on how expensive it was a couple of times. In other ways, the room was great, the host was also great! I didn't get a chance to sample her cooking as others lodgers seem to have so cannot comment on that. She also gave us water for free which was great.

Review 4：We liked everything about the apartment. The owner was very friendy and helpful. Good location, close to the ferry, small shop and the bus stop although I recommend to have a car.

Review 6：If you are looking for an example of Seychellois friendliness, that isit! Marie and her son are so obliging, helpful and kind, which makesyour stay even more enjoyable! My girlfriend had her birthday during ourstay and Marie's daughter baked muffins for us (when I evenmentioned extra payment, she wouldn't let me finish my sentence!)And decorated our bed! Car hiring was organised by her. Her son drove usto the beach on the first day!Lovely accommodation, excellent location (very close to the jetty, nice spot on the island).

The room was absolutely lovely ( I wish I could share pics with you!! ).Well decorated with pretty tiny flowers everywhere in the bedroom and bathroom, a water-fountain in the kitchen with cold and hot water (great for breakfast !), take away only 3 minutes walking... Marie Annette has been very helpful before and during our stay. She also made of my birthday a Very special day with littles surprises in our room :-)). so sweet !!! Review 13：The place is close to the Jetty (Ferry Port). So if you plan to go to La Digue by boat (which we totally recommend. Take the first ferry so it is not that crowded) you can just walk to the ferry in the morning. You have a nice view to the harbor from the balcony. Bus station and small shop right in front of the house. Big Bathroom, good equipped large kitchen with everything you need. Wifi works great. But what made the place even more special were the owners. We arrived way to early so our room was not ready. We were upgraded to a big 4 Person room for free :-) The room was totally nice with so many lovely details. Lovely decoration everywhere. We stood here for two nights and the host Marie and Maurice were unbelievable friendly. The really took care of us, helped us with all the plannings, gave us tips and organized a rental car for us! They always had time for a nice chat and one evening Marie surprised us with a wonderful meal! If you read this: Thanks again, we had a wonderful time! If we ever come back to Praslin we would choose that same place again! Taking the bus is really cheap and works great. Still we rented a car for 2 days because sometimes you really have to wait quite long for a bus and by that some loose time.

Review 14：Marie-Annette was a great host, a great communicator and by far the quickest and most helpful that we have encountered in Seychelles. She was my first port of call when we ended up on the island for an extra night without a place to stay and we were so happy and grateful she had one room available for us! The room was big and comfy, the bed is one of the best we have slept in and was a blessing after a long unconfortable journey. The water is provided for free which is great and Marie-Annette greeted us with a much needed and much appreciated cold towels, some lovely fresh coconut water and nougat... We felt so spoilt! The guesthouse is also within walking distance from the jetty, so great location if you are travelling to La Digue. Also the free and strong signal wifi is a bonus, it definitely comes handy when you travel! The guesthouse is by the road but with closed windows - and there's air con in the room- we did not hear much noise really.

Review 15：There was only hot water under the shower - no cold water, which made it difficult to stand. It was quite noisy as the apartment is located right by the street, but walking distance from the port.

Review 16：The owner was very friendly, provided us with unlimited drinking water, greeted us with home made cookies and told us what to see, where to go on the Island. Free wi-fi, which is not very common in the Seychelles. Well located near stores and the port. Her son took us on a trip to Curieuse Island which was fun.

Review 17：There is nothing not to like, except location could be better. You are on a beachfront, overlooking the see but the beach is a marine. You are also well off from beaches, cafes, etc. So car is a must.

Review 18：Marie was a great host. She was very helpfull with advices, arrangements of care hire, entrance to the Anse Georgette, etc. Marie is the appartments biggest strenght. Appartment is quite big with terace. Modestly equipt, with everything you need. Location you need a car.

Mme Pool and her husband are a charming, generous and helpful landlord couple who will ensure that you get the best out of your stay at Pralin. Don't miss their tips on restaurants (e.g., Cafe des Arts), beaches and places to visit. If you decide to rent a car, please let Mme Pool book if for you - it's significantly cheaper than internet bookings.

Review 25：The room is great, all you need, nice bed, little sofas, table, nice spacious toilet, balcony with chairs and table, sea view, AC and fan, wifi, parking available, laundry service, and the best of all was the owner, Marie anne is by far the best host I've ever seen, she will welcome you with cold towels, drinks and a little snack made by her. We were so happy we've found her!!! It was my boyfriend's birthday on the day we arrived to the hotel, I asked her if she could cook some local food for us for dinner, together with a cake for him and she showed up with an amazing curry prawns and a beautiful cake made by her daughter, only with hours of notice she prepared everything for us, you can tell she loves what she does, she rely likes giving you advices on where to go, how to do it, she will even tell you the routes of buses and must see in the island. She also booked for us to go to a private beach in Constance resort, we didn't pay for it, without her contacts we would have never been able to see Anse Georgette Beach, which is a must!!! I would totally recommend this hotel to all my friends, having a sea view with your breakfast in the morning, a car, nice bed and a very approachable host is all you need in this island!

Review 27：The Location was perfect, it near the Jetty which is so convenience if you would like to take ferry to La Digue, it save your time for traffic to the Jetty, esp. if you are going to take the early ferry, for me it was 7am. There is a groceries shop just opposite to the Guest House where you can find the daily use. The bus stop is just in front of the guest house. The Host Marie is so nice, she provided recommendation about where we go and helped to arrange taxi for us as request. As we arrived earlier then we expected, her husband was so helpful to pick up us from the airport with reasonable price. When we arrived the Guest house, we have warm welcome by lemon drink and a piece of dessert. As requested, Marie also help to prepare a dinner for us at reasonable price, the meals are so tasty! On the day of X'mas, Marie was so lovely to serve us X'mas cup cakes. Last but not the least, they served free big bottle of water inside the kitchen which is never happened in any other Guesthouses. Also, the balcony have a nice view. I would recommend you stay here in Praslin, if you are not going to choose expense resort.

Review 28：Don't forget to bring your shampoo if you need it. It's not a bad point. Just an advice.

Review 29：Marie-Annette and her family are very kined-hearted. She is also an efficient concierge! Thanks to her suggestions and advices, we were able to enjoy Praslin island much more than we expected with much less cost. There are mini-mart, licquor shop, nice take-away restaurant, and bus stop within 3minutes walk. And Marrie-Annete said her son can offer fishing and island excursion from January.

Review 30：The owner received us with a wonderful snack that we were not expecting. She also helped us to arrange a car rental in the last minute and provided recommendations about where to go. The house is very close to the port, which is very convenient especially if you are not spending too many days in the island.

Review 31：I stayed in the family room as a solo traveller, the big room is warmly furnished, the birds in the tree singing, the waves splashing gently, the owner family is very nice and helpful, i.e. organises rental car, invited me for a fantastic, tasty evening dinner.It's walking distance to/from the ferry. All in all a great place to stay

Review 34：Praslin is quite different to Mahé and La Digue. This accommodation is ideal if you are arriving by ferry as it is a short distance to the Guest House. However, it is imperative to hire a car to get to the main attractions located relatively far from the Guest House. Driving is not at all a soothing experience what with the very narrow and winding roads, and speeding local vehicles!

Review 35：Marie Annette was an obliging hostess and gave us some good tips about what to see. She also organised the car hire at rather short notice. The sea-facing family room was extremely well-equipped for all contingencies. The welcome snack and water cooler were very much appreciated.

Review 39：The owner was always there for us, helping in everything she could. The room was perfectly clean and neat, with all necessary details for a great stay such as cold spring water, new kitchen utensils and new air conditioning. Beds were really comfortable.

Review 40：Negatives: We were there for three nights but no housekeeping was done. We were told to empty the trash in the bin below. But no idea was given about no housekeeping.

Review 41：Nice comfortable place 5 minutes walk from Praslin jetty. On our arrival we were greeted with a welcome drink and cup cakes & sweets by owner herself. The owner was even ready to provide pick up from Jetty but we went to Praslin by Airport so she offered to pick us from Airport for a fee of SCR 260. The owner had provided with all kitchen equipment needed for self catering. The apt was nicely decorated and was in excellent condition. Drinking water provided in the room which is the rarest of the rare thing (Free drinking water) in Seychelles. There is a super market (Kannu's Super maket) & Petrol pump on 5 min drive where you get everything. No good restaurants near by and you need to drive till Cote'dor for good restaurants which is 5 km (10 min) drive. Attention: It's a self catering apt with the owner providing the breakfast stuff (Please inform in advance if anything is finishing) unlike what it seems from their advertising. Wish they are more clear in stating that the breakfast is not served but we have to prepare on our own.

Review 61：We had a fantastic welcome and it was like a home from home throughout our stay with Marie-Annette and her husband ensuring that our every need was catered for, including a lift for us and our luggage to the quay on our departure. The location was very convenient for ferries to both La Digue and Mahe had a regular bus service outside the door and an excellent store for provisions just opposite. We have absolutely no hesitation in thoroughly recommending Le Port Guest House as a brilliant base from which to explore Praslin. In addition Marie-Annette's boutique downstairs provides a superb range of personally handmade, authentically Seychellois clothing and souvenirs for both young and old. Thanks for a great stay. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Review 62：Just back from our honeymoon trip. It's a lovely hotel, the room is very clean. The hotel is approaching to the wharf, just 5mins is enough. Due to it's belong to our honeymoon trip, the boss prepare lot of flowers in our room. It's the best choice of us.

Review 64：The owners of the guesthouse (Marie-Annette and Maurice) do their utmost to make you feel welcomed and at home. The difference is in the detailed personal attention. You are received with a cool towel, home made cakes, flowers on the bed, invited over for dinner, offered a flexible late check out, given sound advice on what to do, etc... The house is well located near the jetty (3 min walk) WIFI and water is complimentary. Large room and large bathroom both very clean. Private kitchen has all the essentials in case you would like to prepare something yourself. Large fridge. Air con working well, good pressure shower, etc, etc... Given that Seychelles is expensive for accommodation and the guesthouse is below 100 Eur I can only conclude this to be a top choice. 10 out of 10.

Review 65：Not many facilities (like restaurants) around in this area. Neighbourhood is a little noisy.

Review 66：Excellent location for trips to La Digue, other Islands and transportation. Every means of transport is very close by. Appartments are very roomy, clean and complete. Owner is very friendly and helpful.

Review 67：the internet connection is not very stable, kitchen gets the best reception, but it should be improved in a few days according to Julio since he already ordered technician to install router right in front of the apartment.

Review 68：Marie-anne and her family were all super friendly and kind. The house is an easy 5 minute walk from ferry port, very convenient location. Marie-anne provided us with welcoming drink and short cakes which was delicious. There is bus stop right next to the house, you could go around the island easily. The house is clean and tidied every day. You could see a bit of the bay sitting on the balcony, exactly as the picture shown. There were three beds in the room, one queen, two twins. Spacious and comfortable. There was also bread and butter in the fridge for us even though breakfast is not supposed to be included. Marie-anne invited us over for dinner and she was an excellent chef. A big THANK YOU to Julio and Marie-anne for the great stay!!
