Review 1：- nice and hospitable staff - clean - good value for money - healthy food choices for dinner/breakfast - great atmosphere (live music during dinner) - proximate to airport bus station - walking distance to Umea city center, University and hospital

Review 2：There was no internet for 5 days due to a 'problem'. But nobody explained what the problem was, then it would have been solved, even though I explicitly asked. Nobody apologised for the inconvenience. I was on a business trip and I would have liked to work or simply speak to my family. How can a decent hotel have no internet for the guests for 5 days with no explanation? Also, some of the staff people were rude.

Review 3：The facilities are clean, and the breakfast is good. I like that they try to be environmentally aware e.g. towel washing only if requested.

Review 4：The personell and hosts were glad and helpful with any questions. The breakfast was well prepared with a variety of foods to choose from. The room was comfortable and cozy.

Review 5：They should have told us in the booking phase more clearly, that this is a hospital hotel. Do not want to get all the hospital bakteria from your holiday.

Review 10：Dinner stops being serve too early and breakfast starts being served too late (not good for travellers arriving from the airport or wanting to eat breakfast before meetings).

Review 11：Good single room on seventh floor, more light, more modern and clean. Also, no noise from neighbours (cannot hear toliet flushing from neighbours for example).

Review 12：Breakfast on the last day was poorly laid out. No muesli, no berries, little fruit, poor service. Found a man sleeping rough in a sleeping bag on the sofa in the day room on the sixth floor. Poor security. He was there in the evening, using his laptop and then after security had done their rounds he took out his sleeping bag and slept there. I reported this to the reception after I had walked past him sleeping there on the way to breakfast but I then saw him 3 nights in a row sitting there with his laptop (I only caught him sleeping once). So, the problem was not resolved. It feels unsafe there. Short service times in restaurant. Unfriendly staff at reception. Room cleaning not good. Stained carpets in the corridors.

Review 15：If you work at the hospital you must book this. Just walk 500m and you are there. There is a nice pizzeria and an ICA foodstore nearby. But you won't see Umeå at all.

Review 17：Bus from the airport stops right outside the hotel, the hotel is also close to the train station umea ostra. At he weekend is dinner buffet.

Review 18：The reservation included half-board - breakfast and dinner in the restaurant. Regular breakfast buffet was perfect, light and full of tasty Swedish dairy products, yoghurt, cheeses, fruits, many types of ham and boiled eggs. But the dinner blew my mind - also buffet style, restaurant-level meat and fish dishes, many different salads and beer were just too good for the room price! Despite being located about 2-3 km from downtown Umeå, good pedestrian connection to the historical and cultural museum of Västrebottens with interesting temporary exhibitions was very much worth it. Also, buses run till 2:30 am, about every 10-15 min, so no sweat getting to the downtown either. Lovely, clean, new huuuge sauna! Hotel is very much recommended for relaxing weekend.

Review 19：You had to prepare your sofa bed by yourself, which is weird for a hotel. We arrived before 9 (We sent an email before) o'clock, and therefore it was not possible anymore to have dinner.

Review 21：There was refurbishment going on on 4th floor, so why was I placed on 4th floor? Messy, noisy. Why did we not get told verbally about it at reception and why did I not get offered a discount? The rooms were noisy at night, you could hear when other guests flushed the toilets in their rooms and when they were talking. Breakfast not served before 6:45am! Too late! Expensive hotel compared to similar hotels in Umeå.

Review 29：The location of the hotel is Ok if you need bus or train transportation, the hotel is located in front of one of the main bus stations and very close to one train station. My room was the cheapest one, so I suppose that's reason why the furniture was a bit old-style.

Review 81：All that follows is minor, just improvements. WiFi is free but you have to ask for vouchers, mine ended during my last night :-( and you cannot use them with more than one device at a time. It would be nice to have eduroam wifi signal like the rest of the city, specially if you can get if if you put your phone outside the window :-) Having food descriptions in English in the breakfast room would be a real plus, not everything was obvious. The window could use a bit more of light blocking capacity, specially if it is South-West facing like the one I had during the long lighted days of spring and summer.

Review 82：In summary: everything. It is nicely located if you are visiting the university. The city centre is within walking distance with several options, all of them nice (although some nicer than others). The room was comfortable with a nice desk for working. The bathroom is a no frills one but the shower is powerful and serves its purpose nicely. Good wifi coverage. Breakfast is abundant and varied, there's even olive oil!

Next restaurant in the city about 2km away The proximity to the hospital is the reason for a majority of people in medical treatment.

The restaurant is only open for about three hours during the evening for dinner and the servings are minimal and the staff seems to treat you as a nuisance if you ask for more, even if you're prepared to pay for it. The gym facility and the laundry room were set up at bare minimum, and I would not recommend longer visits if you plan to use these facilities.

Review 92：Many people in the staff was very friendly and helpful, although there were exceptions. The hotel is situated very conveniently in its closeness to the university and the university hospital. I would have recommended this hotel if it were not for the high price in comparison to the services offered.
